Casterbridge Hollow Boutique Hotel

The hotel is situated at a place called Casterbridge lifestyle centre so it’s very easy to find. The rooms are very clean with modern furniture. You get to have lovely breakfast at their rooftop restaurant. Even though we couldn’t get into the pool because it was freezing that weekend, it looked crisp and clean. The place itself is a one stop shop, there’s a spa, a variety of restaurants and antique shops including a Gin shop and an art gallery. Also close to Kruger National Park, so if the accommodation is expensive there, this is a wonderful and affordable place to stay.

The staff both at the hotel and at the Magnolia Café are amazing; extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.||I spent an entire week for work, this is not my first visit and this time I specifically asked to stay at Casterbridge.||I will surely return soon!!

It was an amazing pleasure to stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect! Our room was extremely elegant and comfy, equipped with everything we may need. It is surrounded by the field, so it is really quiet. The restaurant affiliated to the hotel was exceptional! The food was of top quality and variety and the staff extremely kind and professional. I highly recommend this place and will surely come back one day!

I stayed at this property for two nights. The breakfast was decent and the restaurant for dinner was pretty good but very slow. The cookies and brownies in reception were delicious! The pool was interesting, but not very inviting looking. The Wi-Fi worked well the air conditioning did not which is a common problem I found in South Africa. There is a half empty mall next-door with a few restaurants, stores, a gin store and an open air gym. The big windows facing the pool allow you to feel like you are sitting at the pool with the guests as you can hear them very clearly. The rooms are big. There is not much to do in the white river area so I would skip it, but this is a decent place to stay for a night if you need to.

Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Magnolia restaurant treated us to suberb breakfasts and delightful dinners. We enjoyed browsing around the automobile museums and quaint shops is the lifestyle centre. We really enjoyed our stay!

Just outside the town of Wit Rivier, what a great hotel. Cozy, clean, friendly staff (from the front desk, cleaning, gardening and security staff). Right next to a vibrant commercial area with restaurants, art shops, medical practices, furniture and antiques. There is a nice car museum that is privately maintained (suggest you leave a donation) and all in running condition.

I visit White River twice a year on business and this hotel is the perfect location. Rooms are super spacious and have everything you need from a comfort perspective. The hotel is also close to all the restaurants in the area, and there are some great restaurants to choose from. In my opinion, the best is Magnolia Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge, which is literally 30 metres from the hotel. They have some really great wines and a delicious menu too. But at the end of the day, it boils down to the staff, who are simply awesome. They are always smiling and very efficient. The same goes for Magnolia Restaurant. I also checked out the conference facilities and they are perfect for small conferences. But if you're not there for business, it is also a great location to base yourself if you're looking at exploring the Panaroma Route and the Kruger Park.

We stayed at Casterbridge Hollow for a business meeting and the hotel was wonderful. The rooms are large, and everything is catered for. ||The staff are well trained and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. ||Breakfast is served from the adjacent Magnolia restaurant. Again, excellent staff, service and food. Innocent waited our table for dinner, breakfast and lunch. Truly superb. ||Thanks for a wonderful stay in the Lowveld!
