Casterbridge Hollow Boutique Hotel

We were booked into this hotel from 1st Aug 2025 for a few nights before going into the bush. From our arrival to leaving and then returning again for a few days we had the most amazing experience. The staff were very professional and could not do enough for us. The rooms were fist class and so clean, and I must say the beds were the best sleep I have has in months. Great breakfast every morning and plenty of great bars, shops and restaurants within the complex. Big thanks to Louis van der Merwe for his hospitality. Will be back. Thanks to all the wonderful staff.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. Warm welcome by staff. Lots of smiles by everyone. Very comfortable room. Bed was great to sleep in. Had incredibly delicious breakfast at Magnolia’s. ||You will be very happy you stayed here as we surely were!

Throughly enjoyable stay for 2 night prior to Kruger. Clean,well appointed and staff dedicated to providing good service. Very friendly. Love the garden setting with plants, trees, flowers. Best of all the chirping of the birds early in the morning.

Could have stayed in a 5 star at the same rate. Booked and confirmed 6 rooms for November at a better rate. When I asked if they didn’t want a deposit I was told the rooms had been let out to other people. Very unprofessional seeing we had even booked certain room numbers. TV is very small and not smart with limited programs

Generous size rooms, the breakfast was delicious, and there are various on-site dining options; the Mexican cuisine made it memorable.

A very dissapointing stay. The rooms are very outdated and the service was non existent. The price we paid was a rip-off.

The hotel is situated at a place called Casterbridge lifestyle centre so it’s very easy to find. The rooms are very clean with modern furniture. You get to have lovely breakfast at their rooftop restaurant. Even though we couldn’t get into the pool because it was freezing that weekend, it looked crisp and clean. The place itself is a one stop shop, there’s a spa, a variety of restaurants and antique shops including a Gin shop and an art gallery. Also close to Kruger National Park, so if the accommodation is expensive there, this is a wonderful and affordable place to stay.

It was an amazing pleasure to stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect! Our room was extremely elegant and comfy, equipped with everything we may need. It is surrounded by the field, so it is really quiet. The restaurant affiliated to the hotel was exceptional! The food was of top quality and variety and the staff extremely kind and professional. I highly recommend this place and will surely come back one day!
