"South of Clearwater Beach as the pelican flies, settle in for a bird’s-eye view of St. Pete Beach over breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Castile. Equipped with an expansive terrace, the restaurant and lounge pairs ocean vistas with Latin- and Mediterranean-inspired fare, designed to highlight local, seasonal ingredients. Flatbreads and tapas like lamb lollipops are the perfect complement to craft cocktails, while creative entrées—don’t miss the seafood paella with mussels, prawns, and clams—will satisfy even the most discerning palate. Be sure to also save some room for an indulgent dessert by pastry chef Amy Samples, like the chocolate terrine with Maldon smoked salt and pistachio olive oil." - Susan B. Barnes

Food wasn't bad but the prices were high compared to the portions you get at the same quality restaurants in the area. They also seemed slightly understaffed. The service provided by the waiter was good though he was hurried and seemed a bit overwhelmed even though only 3 people were eating at the time. Constant music playing on speakers. Customers with barking dogs were a bit annoying. They had arrived via boat and were having breakfast.

Staff was very friendly. The new manager of the hotel, Shannon, walked over to chat a little and made sure we were well taken care of. We were taken care of by the wait staff although our drinks had a hard time getting refilled. The atmosphere had a beautiful view of the intercoastal. There is outdoor seating but we sat inside. While we didn’t have any entrees we sampled a bunch of appetizers. The grouper bites were phenomenal and you get quite a big plate. The truffle fries were delicious as well as the calamari. I’d definitely will go back to try the main courses.

Food was exceptional especially breakfest! Mustafa was a great waiter & didnt have to bug for refills etc. Dinner was also good as well a bit pricy, drinks were strong & had a bit too much ice my only complaint overall good spot compared to the surrounding areas to dine in at!

Google
Pro: They offer complimentary valet parking, which makes it an easier dining experience. Our server-Dave was fantastic! Very patient and helpful. Make sure you ask for him.💫 Con: I ordered a Mediterranean salad with salmon as my protein. I requested the salmon be cooked medium well, but I received a well-done, dry piece with no flavor. Beautiful dining experience overall. 💞 Stars:⭐️⭐️⭐️

No warm welcome at the entrance since we have arrived early to get drinks, nobody took care of our presence at a table in front of the bar. We decided to go outside to enjoy the view, we met a waiter and told him what we wanted. It's only at that moment that we where considered restaurant's patrons. I thing the attendant at the entrance should do her job. After this first bad fealing, everything was fine, our server was very dynamic and efficient, the menu offered a good choice of dishes, so we ordered a ceviche (perfect) scalops and sea bass, both perfectly prepared and presented. The terrace was calm, it was very noisy inside (a derby on TV probably explains it)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an incredible experience thanks to our waitress, Catherine. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. She checked in at just the right times, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to get this kind of service, and we really appreciated it. If you visit, ask for her she’s amazing!

We were in town and we got lucky to find availability for a busy Saturday night for our large party. We were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. The restaurant is nice and with plenty of seating and a bar area. Our server was attentive but he took a while to take our order, bring our drinks and he did not check on us often. We ordered one of the entrees well done and we had to send it back because it was undercooked. It took so long that everyone was done and that meal had not made it back. The pace of the meal could had been better, faster and more checks for sure. On a good note, I had the salmon and it was delish and cooked well. We had valet which was nice to avoid dealing with parking.

Was here last night for my birthday and was not disappointed!!! I don't know which was best... The beautiful views, the delicious food, or the superb service that Jason provided!!! We had a reservation, got seated and drinks right away. We ordered our food which arrived quickly and perfectly prepared. Our waiter Jason was informative from everything on the menu to details about the area. He looked directly at us when speaking as if he were a part of our party. Very personable yet professional. When it comes to customer service, I am a stickler. This was amazing service. I also loved the valet attendant (yikes, I think that I failed to get his name). He was a great guy!!! I definitely plan to return before I head back to North Carolina 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Yelp
No way. The food is a joke and its very expensive, don't waste your time with this tourist trap.

Yelp
We had a fantastic breakfast at Castile. Service was absolutely amazing, thank you to Chandra for being so accommodating and hospitable. The salmon Benedict was incredibly tasty. My husband enjoyed his chorizo burrito too. Valet parking made dining here very easy (it is validated at the front desk). We will definitely be back to try lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Castiles had a nice vibe, and the menu seemed pretty fancy at first glance. They only offered valet parking, which was convenient but added to the expenses. Dining with our crew of three couples, we were surprised they slapped an automatic tip on our bill, maybe because we were the young ones in the crowd ( we are all 33+ ). Our server was friendly but seemed a bit spacey, and it took forever to get our first round of drinks. Even though one of us wasn't drinking, we still ordered another round, which dragged things out even more. The bill came to about $600 altogether, which felt steep for what we got. And when we tried to hit the rooftop for a nightcap, it was closed for a wedding. To make matters worse, the slow service ate into our valet time, and we found out leaving the property would cost us 20 bucks. Seriously? We dropped $600 here and couldn't even step across the street for another drink because your bar was closed without getting hit with extra fees? Overall, the vibe was cool, but the service and value didn't quite hit the mark. We live here right across the bay way and thought this might be a good date night spot but we probably won't be back any time soon.

Yelp
One of the worst meals I've had. Ordered filet mignon and it came out looking like a hamburger and the sides were mediocre. Took a bite and the meat was grey and taste was bad. For $44 I expected decent quality. It was 1/10 I returned for the chicken which was 3/10 (I asked for broccolini side without butter- it came doused in butter ). Didn't eat any of the mediocre sides. Went home after and cooked egg whites and oatmeal which I enjoyed 10x more

Yelp
Listen! When I tell you the Chef didn't come to play, I'm so serious. The Steak. Scallops, and Cake felt like they melted in my mouth. WOW! VERY DELICIOUS! Wonderful presentation and the ambiance of the restaurant was very inviting.

Luisa J.

Yelp
This place was great, glad I tried it out. The service was amazing , our waiter was glad to accommodate whatever we needed. The drinks were good too. The only reason I knock a star is because their menu is pretty limited. The great thing that helped me choose what to order was the fact that the waiter was able to ask the chef to switch up a recipe they had on the menu. My dad and I were craving a pasta but with scallops instead of jerk chicken, and they gladly accommodated, we were impressed ! The fish turned out amazing! Loved the bar upstairs too, well the atmosphere mainly. The menu for drinks did not have much of a variety.

Jamie J.

Yelp
You'll definitely want to dress up for this one! Very elegant atmosphere, and staff years you well right down to folding your napkin if you leave to use the bathroom! Our waiter provided helpful suggestions as we'd never eaten here. We ended up ordering stuffed grouper that came bedded on top of risotto. It wasn't bad, but wasn't the best I'd ever had. I also would've ordered more food, but was told it would be enough to share. It definitely wasn't enough to share for a min and her teenage boy!

Yelp
Can I give zero stars?if I could I would. Starting off we got a pitcher of water spilt all over us and all we got was an oops sorry. Drinks were fine but it took 25 minutes to get them. During that time we ordered apps and entrees, only get our entrees over an hour later. While we waited for our entrees our waiter never returned to ask how our apps were, OR clear our app plates, OR even ask us if we'd like more drinks. Our food finally came and it was bland. The grouper was not blackened on both the sandwich and entree ordered. And others in our party barely touched their food. When we asked to speak to the manager regarding the service and bill, we were offered free dessert. When then manager finally came, we expressed how disappointed we were with the meal and how horrible the service was, and he eventually offered to take a percentage off our bill. We said that would not be enough and we could pay for the drinks as our experience was horrible, it took forever, service was nonexistent, and food was undesireable. If we were paying $100 that may be acceptable but the bill came to $360. He ended up taking of 25% which again was unacceptable. We paid the bill but will never return, and recommend other do NOT go to this restaurant.

Yelp
My first time here and I'm impressed. Many of the restaurants in St. Pete Beach have the same foods, mostly fried. Castile was a welcomed change. I had calamari (yes fried) and it was done to perfection. It was nice and crispy and a good portion. For my main course I had Chilean Sea Bass which was delicious. The outside was nice and crispy, served over al dente asparagus and creamy risoto. Every bite was amazing. I sat outside overlooking the intercoastal. It was dark outside and the lights twinkled off the water adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. My waiter, James, was professional and very attentive. I can't find fault with this restaurant and I will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Stayed at the Hotel Zamora. They are undergoing a renovation. The staff at the restaurant were amazing, engaging and thoughtful. Food was so much better than anticipated. Are there two nights in a row to be able to try more entrees.

Yelp
We went as a large group (~10 people) for dinner on a Friday night at 6:30PM. We were led to our table right away (which consisted of a few small tables pushed together; people at either end were pretty far away from each other), and the servers were attentive and came to take our orders promptly. For drinks, I got an espresso martini to start, which was delicious. For starters/apps, I tried: -Crab Cakes - The dish came with three cakes, all of which were pretty soft; maybe that is just the style they cook it with, but I wished they were crispy. They had a very strong crab flavor and tasted good. The aioli dip was fine, but could've been a bit more seasoned. -Mussels - probably my favorite app; the tomato broth was well-flavored and paired well with the bread. -Truffle Fries - pretty average; again, wished they were a bit crispier. For entrees, I got the scallops, which were cooked nicely. The risotto was creamy and overall good, though it was slightly too mushy for me. My boyfriend got the Delmonico steak and asked for medium, but it came out closer to medium well. The steak tasted good though, as did the mashed potatoes. Overall a pretty decent meal, with definitely some hits and misses. For price point, I would expect more consistent quality, so I'm giving it 3 instead of 4 stars.

Yelp
We had a poor experience for Mother's Day brunch. We made reservations a few weeks ago understanding there was a $75 per person brunch for our party of 7. I received two calls days before making sure we understood the price and if we were sure we still wanted to come. I do appreciate them checking but I also let them know on the phone we were boating in. When we arrived by boat they told us it is $35 for boat parking + tax which they never informed us about over the phone. We have boated to Zamora for years and they apparently just last week changed this. My other issue was the lack of options for a $75 brunch. It was a pastry, salad, breakfast, raw bar, prime rib (not great) and dessert buffet. I've definitely had better selections at other restaurants in the area and expected more at Castile. I most likely will not reserve for a buffet in the future. And unfortunately they are among the few nicer boat up restaurants in St. Pete, so it is disappointing.

Yelp
Dining at the Casteel restaurant was a delightful surprise. The kitchen at our nearby hotel was under renovation, and the only alternative they offered was a very expensive brunch, much more than we were looking for. So we used Yelp to find a nearby alternative, and were delighted to find the Zamora Hotel on the canal a short walk away. I had the traditional breakfast and my husband had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, well served by Red who could not have been more attentive and accommodating. The Zamora and it's restaurant were a real find and we plan to be back next time

Yelp
First time visit to the hotel and restaurant. Went for my birthday, planned to stop at rooftop bar before dinner. Upon arrival learned that it was closed for a wedding, bummer. Restaurant decor and ambiance was very nice. Ate inside at a window table overlooking the patio and water. Waitress asked if we were celebrating anything, I said birthday, she extended greetings. No special treat or free desert. Craft cocktails were very good but pricey-$17 each. Grouper bites were outstanding. My wife ordered salmon which was overly salty. Told waitress, she offered to get another entree which was declined as I was halfway through my meal. She ate half, we did not take leftovers home. I had the sea bass which was pan fried, quite salty, with a tomato sauce that obscured the delicate flavor of sea bass. No adjustment to bill was made or offered. We will return, but likely for happy hour and appetizers not a full dinner

Yelp
Tried this restaurant for the first time last night, had a good time! The margarita drink was topped with Cabernet Sauvignon and had a black salt rim, which I had never heard of before but thought it was so fun! I ordered the short rib pasta--it was good; but if I go again I would probably try something else. My dad liked his chicken and waffles. I also enjoyed both apps. I can't remember what my second drink was called--pamplona or something like that? Gin drink with grapefruit. Anyhow, I would recommend giving Castile a try! Xoxo, Is this thing on?

Susan-Lee A.

Yelp
Just cocktails and sunset and we enjoyed both! The service was very slow! We had a group of 8 so that might have been the reason.

Michaek S.

Yelp
Amazing fancy place in Zamora. Food spot on - steaks, seafood, upscale fine dining. Steaks rival Berns, seafood very fresh, kitchen knows it stuff. Charcuterie appetizer - meal in itself, wonderful assortment of meats, cheeses, fruits, spreads. Service friendly and on point. Better than places twice the price! Valet parking is free, and restaurants is beautiful - lots of dark wood, leather, great water views.

Yelp
So this was our first date in a very long time since having kids so we picked a spot that was more for adults. We got there and pulled into valet they gave us a ticket and told us to have it stamped when we got upstairs. Took the elevator up to the second floor and walked over to the restaurant. We made reservations but there was no there so we sat outside. Our server was the only server so when more people showed up the less he came around. I ordered a Margarita and a order of the cauliflower. My husband got the burger medium rare and fries for the side. The drinks came out quick which was good I loved the black salt rim.I will say the food time was lengthy. Once we got our dishes we realized that the added the mustard after asking for it plain just bacon and then also the burger was over cooked to well done. BUT I can say it was still delicious after scraping off the mustard and getting a new bun, and the fries were good and well and they even took it off the bill because it wasn't what my husband asked for. My cauliflower was delicious Maybe a little heavy on sauces but delicious I would order it again. When it came down to the end we didn't see our server at all so we decided to walk in and pay the bill he apologized and said he was the only one working which we figured but we told him no worries. Now the experience was a little shy of what we were hoping for but the roof top is a beautiful spot to grab a drink and relax that opened at 4pm. The weather and the atmosphere was perfect.

Mike W.

Yelp
Great view and great food. I would say my second to favorite scallops ever! Yes, I said it...ever.

Peggy a.

Yelp
Sadly, this restaurant was a disappointment. For starters, several items on the menu are no longer being offered since there is a new chef. Examples: Paella, Pork chops, New York Strip, and others. For the worst part of our evening, the lamb chops were served cold and the portion was unacceptable -- 2 tiny pieces over very cold gummy substance called "mashed potatoes". Dish was returned. Vegetable soup was also served very cold and flavorless. Requested to replace pork chops for the Delmonico Steak, and that was no better. Served hot but no seasoning. The "mashed potatoes" were served once AGAIN cold and gummy. Server, Hannah, started out kind, however, after expressing our discontentment, her whole demeanor changed and it wasn't pleasant. :( Was charged $20 for a glass of wine that never made it to the table... luckily that was removed; however, no apology or kind gesture was extended.

J-leigh B.

Yelp
We had server Ben Jax and he was absolutely fabulous. He was very concerned about making sure we had an amazing meal and everything was to our liking. The food was amazing, the drinks were top notch, and the service passed expectations! After dinner we sat at the bar and were served by Jacob and Alicia and they again exceeded our expectations with amazing drinks, great attitudes, and stellar service! Highly recommend!!!

Rachel P.

Yelp
Stayed at Hotel Zamora and my group LOVED the food here! We got breakfast, lunch and dinner and enjoyed it all. Would just stay away from the filet at dinner and the bagel for breakfast were not great. Was easy to make reservations and the service was great!

Jeff G.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the atmosphere out on the patio was amazing! We had the scallops and sea bass along with a wonderful bottle of Riesling. Our server Franck was nice and prompt. Would definitely recommend.

Thomas L.

Yelp
Tried Castile's for the first time while in St Pete's Beach. We split the Z salad which was good and plentiful. My wife had the chicken breast and couscous another well prepared dish. I had the Chilean sea bass with risotto. The bass and tomato sauce was delicious, however the risotto was mushy and dried out . The sever was able to get me a side order of the couscous, which was very well seasoned any creamy. Key lime pie was 6 out of 10 , chalky texture and lacked tang. Should be 3.5 ratting

Steve S.

Yelp
It was OK, but -- to be honest -- I expected a little better. I was with a party of nine folks and by and large the food was nice. (Mine was an exception: I ordered a hamburger, medium, and it came out cooked to death and dry as sand. And the fries, while tasty, were cold and soggy. But when you're with a large party you concede that if you send your entree back you'll be eating alone when everyone else is finished.) But most of the other diners had no complaints: The risotto was cooked well. The chicken'n'waffles were a treat. The calamari had just the perfect batter-to-squid ratio. So, yay food! But there are obstacles to the coveted five-star rating: 1) There were many groups that occupied the balconies, the rooftop, etc... I don't begrudge them that, but that means we are relegated to an inside table, and 2) The acoustics inside are... how do I say this? "Resonant." Large space; hard surfaces; many echoes. So folks raise their voices to overcome the background noise, which only adds to the background noise. And 3) There was a duo playing salsa-ish music who really were excellent. But add their volume to the bad acoustics and the near-shouting conversations and it was... uncomfortable. Bottom line: I'd probably come back and give the food a second chance, but only if I can dine outside.

Jose T.

Yelp
Yes this iOS dining in the time of covid but the experience here was likely to make you forget the times. This restaurant is in the second floor of hotel and it overlooks the intracoastal. I'm sure the views during daylight are spectacular. The interior is welcoming, upscale with salmon walls and nice Spanish candelabras. They do require masks our excellent waiter wore a shield. And they keep you very separate so no concerns. The service was top notch, friendly, bulk our waiter was knowledgeable and just far away and close enough to ensure you lacked for nothing. This guy is in the too 10 % of his profesión. In wild come back just for him. There was live music with a Latin twist. Enjoyable but Tokyo tool loud. Finally the food. We started with As to to the food there is an artist in the kitchen. We ordered a Florida snapper that was just perfect. Seared to perfection with nice flaky interior. Served with a spinach and watercress salad and with a carrot bisque that added to the flavor. This was a special so maybe they don't always have it but if they do highly recommended. We had the fried cauliflower as an appetizer also very nice. They have some extent house wines too.

Marc P.

Yelp
Sit down and have warm bread followed by grouper bites and then leave before you can be disappointed

Magi K.

Yelp
We went with friends to celebrate Valentine's. It was a prix fixe menu. We had the Surf & Turf 4 course dinner which was excellent. Large portions, everything was cooked to perfection. Wonderful staff. We had a great evening. Thank you!

Steven S.

Yelp
We are locals and even with so many options, we visit Hotel Zamora's Castile Restaurant. Their new chef does not disappoint. She promised us that she was elevating the menu and New Year Eve's 4 course menu was proof she means what she said. I have to mention our server Daniel was great. Even with a packed house we received great service! Disclaimer... the fondue course and desert were devoured before the camera got the shot!!

Emily P.

Yelp
Had a fabulous dinner outside on the balcony at Castile! It was so easy to get a reservation and the service was extremely accommodating! The food and drinks were so tasty! We will definitely be coming back!

J C.

Yelp
A birthday dinner for my someone special. Absolutely perfect...from the rooftop lounge to the dining area. Food was fantastic. My SS enjoyed braised short rib and I chose the snapper. Both were delicious. A great chef and a wonderful experience. We are local and will be back!

David H.

Yelp
Korey our bartender was awesome. Great drinks, nice dinner on the water, great roof top bar. Hidden St Pete's Beach gem.

Jason T.

Yelp
To start off, this review is based solely off the service and the information provided by the restaurant. Unfortunately due to the misinformation by the restaurant, we did not choose to dine here. Initially, I was looking to book a reservation through Open Table. After not initially seeing a price for the Father's Day Brunch Buffet, I chose to call to inquire about the price. I was told the price for the Buffet was $35 per person. After hearing this, I went to book the reservation through Open Table. Once I got through the selection, a screen popped up showing that the price of the Buffet was $85 per person. Based on my previous phone call, my husband called to clarify and confirm. The person that answered the phone insisted that the price was only $35 per person, and Ben after after being to her attention the difference in price listed on Open Table. She again insisted and promised the price of the Father's Day Brunch Buffet was only $35 per person. So we decided to book the reservation and drive 30 miles to the restaurant. Upon arriving, the only option was to valet. No problem. Walking up to the restaurant, there is a giant sign displaying that the price of the Brunch Buffet is $85 per person. Shocked, we walk into the restaurant again, to ask what the price of the Buffet is. The Hostess says it's $85 per person. After questioning her based one what we were told, the Hostess tells us that the evening workers really don't know what is going on with Brunch, and really, they didn't even know themselves what the price would be until the evening before, so what were we're told (twice) was wrong. We decide just to leave and go back downstairs to get our car from Valet. Even the valet driver was surprised we were leaving so soon and asked what the reason was. I simply stated that we were misinformed and decided it wasn't right for us. After going and getting our car, the valet driver pried to ask exactly what happened in which I reiterated the story told above. He apologized profusely and also stated that he could not understand why, as the sign in the lobby had been up the entire last week. Overall just disappointed in the service and lack of communication. Honestly the only reason I am leaving 2 stars is because of the valet driver who honestly was nice, personable, and overall the only person concerned with the service they were providing not only at this restaurant but at this hotel.

Cletus V.

Yelp
We literally had a dinner consisting of just the appetizers one night and ordered the jerk chicken Alfredo the next day. Their Key lime pie was sensational and the ambiance was great. They had live music later in the evening, but we ate on the early side. They offered a carry out option, also want to mention that Aldo was an amazing server/employee!!

Lisa M.

Yelp
Food & outdoor seating were enjoyable! Service was great too. Menu was nice size & prices were very fair. Will go back any time we are in St Pete!

Amber S.

Yelp
This was a really cute spot and great to eat on patio. Had drinks on rooftop which is separate from restaurant ahead of dinner and that was beautiful for sunset. You can see the ocean and the bay. Don't get the house rose unless you like a sweeter wine. Our waiter was new so service was slower than preferred. Appetizers were great - burrata with tomatoes and a balsamic reduction hidden in a syringe like thing so don't forget to add that : ). Calamari was crispier than we've had but good. Wedge salad special was good. Entrees. The NY strip was cooked nicely but lacked flavor/seasoning. The jerk chicken pasta was basic and would not recommend. The best entree was the pistachio crusted salmon. Overall ambiance was nice but food was underwhelming for the price.

Mark S.

Yelp
Very impressed! When you want something more upscale and classy than the hundreds of beach restaurants in the area this is it. The atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. We came here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint.

D. C.

Yelp
We went to the rooftop for drinks and their tapas menu. The view was great and we were excited to find what we hoped would be a great new spot. It was just plain awful. The grouper tacos were terrible and the grouper nuggets were cold and rubbery. Not even edible. There were three in our party. We ordered a drink each and 2 tapas and our bill was $100! We had planned on having dinner in the restaurant but ended up leaving. We told the hostess, manager and bartender but nobody cared enough to even apologize. We are not picky and don't mind spending money on good food but this was just unacceptable. Maybe it's the new ownership and in transition but it was really bad. Don't waste your money

Annette K.

Yelp
Love Castile and 360 rooftop! The food is fantastic! We had the drunken shrimp appetizer and the short rib pasta, absolutely delicious! The staff friendly and knowledgeable.. The view at 360 is amazing! The best place since I arrived. I will definitely will return to this gem! No

Esther L.

Yelp
I visited Castile restaurant while staying at the hotel Zamora. My breakfast was delicious, I got a Greek omelette with side of fruit and a Bloody Mary. It was pretty early in the morning when I went and very calm, not a whole lot of people eating there at the time... I brought my puppy and we sat outside on the balcony where dogs are allowed (although they're not allowed inside) -- also ate here for lunch and had the walnut salad that was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it... Service was great also! Not a whole lot of options on the menu particularly for someone who is vegetarian or mostly vegetarian but they were willing to flex and that was great for when I needed to substitute... By the way, the picture of the bloody Mary has bacon on it and of course I did not eat it but just know that it comes with it I think.

Tom E.

Yelp
All around a fantastic experience! We began our dinner with a few drinks on the rooftop bar with an incredible view of the sunset over the ocean. We moved downstairs to the main restaurant and sat with a waterfront view. We had a large group so we decided to try a few apps before our entrees. The menu had some unique takes on traditional options which I really love. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend!

Natasha D.

Yelp
Castile has some of the best food I have had in the beaches area. It is situated in the Zamora hotel which is across the street from the beach. They have a great bar upstairs with a great view where they also do events like weddings. My BF and I decided to dine in the restaurant after having some drinks on the rooftop and catching the sunset. Definitely worth the view. We ordered some appetizers, the bacon wrapped dates and the truffle fries (our new favorite thing). The apps came quickly and were tasty. We both also ordered entrees, he got the filet mignon and I got mama m's meatballs. Both were amazing. The meatballs came hot and fresh atop naan bread, yum. I managed to knock over a glass of water during the meal (a few too many martinis upstairs) and the staff came like ninjas to clean it up, saying it happens all the time. The service here is very good. The restaurant itself isn't very big and it is the lobby of the hotel so it gets a little loud and busy. But it is definitely worth a try. Prices are a little steep, but you get what you pay for with the quality food and 5 star service.

Yelp
The service was fine. The food was expensive but not memorable. My snapper was very undeseasoned. If you just look at the pictures you won't find a spec of seasoning lol the puréed cauliflower on the side tasted like literal water. The potatoes and radishes on top provided more decoration than flavor. And once I saw how small it was I ordered the meatballs on pita bread as a snack. My boyfriend nonetheless enjoyed his pasta (kinda hard to make a bad short rib pasta) and the shrimp appetizer was actually delicious. All in all you don't come here for the food. You come here for the atmosphere. The balcony over looking the lake is beautiful. The romantic vibes of the restaurant made it a perfect date night. After dinner we took our drinks out on the balcony and just enjoyed each others company. 4 starts for the atmosphere. 3/5 for the actual food.

Yelp
We just spent 3 nights 4 days at this amazing boutique hotel! The service exceeded our expectations! Kayla, Ezra, Dawson and Luke took excellent care of us with wit, class and a smile. We enjoyed spending time with all of the staff! The rooftop experience was great and although we did not have a good dinner Friday eve, Saturday brunch was fantastic! The food was much better. And the chef made sure our friend ate gluten free! We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Castile has been a restaurant that has gone through good and bad over the few years it has been open. After a lengthy hiatus, wife and I have begun to return to dine and until this evening have had recent pleasant experiences. Unfortunately, tonight takes us back to the inconsistency and overpriced experiences that made us stop going in the past. To be perfectly transparent, we joined a paid discount program called Club Savor which promises a discount on food and drinks, which this restaurant is a part of. The guarantee is that the food is exactly the same in portion and prep as if we were not part of the program. Tonight we dined at the bar, and I ordered the Skirt steak and fries, which I have enjoyed quite a lot on recent visits, before joining CS. Coincidentally, the person sitting next to me (different party) ordered the same thing. His meal came first and looked fantastic. When my meal came, however, it was on a different sized plate, much smaller portion, and wasn't really comparable in any way to my neighbor's meal. I questioned the bartender wondering if we'd ordered the same thing, which she confirmed. I wish I'd taken pictures, it was like the expectation vs reality pics you see often. So that was problem one -- was it misinformation from Club Savor or the restaurant cheating CS members when it shouldn't? I don't know, but it was clear there were two different levels of meal, and I can't be sure who is the dishonest party. The second problem, more related to club savor, is that using the program cancels any other discounts. The Castile happy hour is fairly generous, and we would have saved more by simply ordering the happy hour drinks, apps, etc. instead of getting the CS discount. To the restaurant's credit, they did a one time discount since we didn't know that was the policy which we appreciated. All in all the experience left us feeling a bit 'dirty' and no one wants a bad experience coupled with a billing issue at the end. We've canceled club savor, and aren't sure we will return to Castile -- if my neighbor's meal and mine were supposed to be the same then there are still significant consistency issues in a restaurant that is constantly still changing its menu and preparations. The continued problems are evident by the empty restaurant on a Saturday night, and its too bad for such a lovely space.

Yelp
Ate there Saturday night. Was looking for a place with sunset views. The patio there does not face the beach and you will not be able to see sunset. We asked to sit on patio facing air water but were told the whole place was reserved. They say us on the side patio which has no breeze at all and was so hot you couldn't eat there. They did accommodate us inside. However during entire dinner we were there no tables showed up to eat outside on patio facing the water and a table that was sat on side patio near us before we moved asked to move to water facing patio and was moved. So not sure why they told us we couldn't and that it was all booked. Had ceviche. Came in bowl about the size of tuna fish can. No crackers or wafers which is always how I've eaten ceviche. Over all bland. Had a tostada app with pulled rib meat. Very overpowering sauce. It comes with three on plate we ate half of one. I order a $49 filet mignon. Medium. It came out and was about half and inch thick and mostly medium well to well. It was for sure not a filet. And may have been a ribeye. It just wasn't a good cut of meat or flavored well especially for the cost. It also had some fingering potato's with greens that were kind of strange tasting. Ambience was ok. They had a lounge singer who was good. But the overall cost of dinner with poor flavor and cut of meat would not really make me come back. Our service was good and attendant was attentive.
