Magnificent castle atop a hill dating back to 14th century during Muslim times of Malaga. It was built to protect Alzacaba castle.
You can get there both by bus and by foot, although it's a little bit of a hike, it's worth it, as it's probably the best place to get breathtaking views of Malaga.
The entrance is no more than 3 EUR, you can also get a combined ticket to visit Alcazaba as well, I'd say it's well worth it! Inside the castle itself there is a nice walk along ramparts, well-preserved courtyard and a little military museum dedicated to garrison history after the Reconquest. It has things like period uniforms, cartography instruments, etc.
Great experience!
