Great old school motel. Road noise on Castillo is loud after 5am. Room is clean. Bed comfortable. Mini fridge & R.O. water filter in bathroom are great! Heat works and is quiet. It’s totally fine. Price of approx $200/night seems a bit steep for the room but everything is expensive and this was one of least expensive we could find when we booked 6 weeks ago. Now, they have no vacancy due to evacuations from LA fires so I’m glad we have a place to stay.

I chose this inn because it is walking distance to: the beach, the harbor, Stearn's Wharf, State St. shopping and dining, and close driving distance to the Santa Barbara Zoo, and the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens. It is quaint, the rooms are very clean, and even though it is off of a main street, it is quiet. The beds are comfy, and there is a filtered water tap in the bathroom. Staff is great. Jose was here on Sunday when I arrived, and I parked my car in the parking lot, even though it was only 12 noon. He called me when my room was ready, around 1 p.m., way before check-in time. He was very helpful, and made sure that I had everything I needed for a great stay. I definitely recommend Castillo Inn when you are in Santa Barbara!

We stayed here for 2 nights during our first visit to Santa Barbara. Very convenient location, clean and roomy. Front desk even allowed us to check out late. Thank you for a great experience. We hope to be back.

We had a pleasant stay here! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. We requested a room on a higher floor, and they were kind enough to simply move us to a larger one. Highly recommend!

Google
Room is meh. Smells funky like old carpet. The carpet is 1970s green and the furniture is dated. Walls are thin. Windows not insulated. You can hear everything. The front desk girl was very nice at checkin and very accommodating. The hotel itself is dank. My main gripe is that we asked for our hotel room to be serviced (out of towels and toilet paper) so we called in the morning to request service. We came back at 3:30 PM and it was not serviced. It seemed like the housekeeping was waiting for us to return before immediately knocking on the door and saying they’re ready now.

Google
The location is fantastic—just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and plenty of restaurant options. The place is old but well-maintained and super clean. It’s also quiet, with hardly any noise from the neighbors. And a big plus: the shower has great water pressure!

Google
Sweet girl works at the front, allowed us a super early check in. Great location right by the beach! Clean rooms, nice bathrooms and even had a little patio. I liked it here.

Google
We checked into this 2-star hotel as we didn’t have a reservation elsewhere. ||The check-in process was quick and easy, and we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the room was. The shower was excellent, the TV was brand new, and the room itself was quite spacious.||This hotel is a great choice for an overnight stay.|The hotel has no views either inside or outside to the harbour

Yelp
The room and people here were great. I loved having a little coffee pot and a fridge in our room. The place was clean and the young lady who helped us check in and out had really nice, positive energy. The reason for the 4 stars is because we were awoken Sunday morning around 8:45-9ish by a man with a truck parked right in front of of our room (17) who kept clanging metal on metal for at least 15 minutes over and over again. I just laid there hoping he would stop and after a long time finally got up and opened the shades to see what the heck that metal banging on metal sound was about. The guy had a hat on and was facing my direction but I don't know if he saw me in the window or not. Not long after we heard lots of sweeping right up to our door. We had the "privacy please" door hanger on our door but this person proceeded to brush his broom against our door and to drag it back and forth. I didn't notice dirt there but I guess this person was just being thorough??? I get it, people need to maintain the grounds, but it was annoying that it had to be on Sunday morning.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience! Jose was wonderful and helped us get situated, he even gave us great recommendations! The room was very cozy and had beautiful natural light which I loved! Great location a block from the beach and walking distance to everything in downtown SB! Next time we are in Santa Barbara we will be staying here again!!

Yelp
Our service was great and the room was clean. What more can you ask for. Not dog friendly which is a bummer. The location is really close to State street and the beach of course. Very affordable as well.

David M.

Yelp
Cool location across from the harbor. Comparatively affordable opposed to other options in the area. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Most have a fold out sofa bed for higher occupancy needs for those with kids or others looking to shave the cost. Free coffee was tasty and got the job done. Some rooms have an adjoining patio right off the room. Check in was super sad mouth and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Santa Barbara doesn't offer affordable lodgings...Castillo Inn is probably as cheap as it gets! We paid $199 for Saturday night, which is good for Santa Barbara. The word "Inn" might be perfect...this is a one story glorified motel. I was amused seeing the parking lot full of Porsches, Mercedes, BMWs, and Lexuses...and our Subaru! PROS: -Clean spacious room and bathroom, but... -Almost on the beach! -Quiet at night -Free parking -Quick drive to State Street -Good Value CONS: -Clean room, but had a musty smell that took a couple hours of open windows to remove. Could be the beach location bringing in a lot of moisture. -Few restaurant choices in walking distance, and they are expensive -LOUD in the mornings! Since its a one story building, you'll hear the voices and cars of all the early bird tourists and maids chatting away. 4.5 Stars...good place overall, though its hard to be romantic here.

Sebas B.

Yelp
Very good experience! I would absolutely recommend it. It's close to the beach, fun activities nearby and overall good and clean and spacious room. good price, good customer service. And if you're looking for a place to stay near the beach... I would highly recommend it.

Dan L.

Yelp
Rather expensive ($150) for an old property. The location is nice and close to the beach - but rooms are small and dated. There are no bedside lamps and it seems rather cramped. No breakfast but there is coffee in the bathroom. The gentleman at the front desk could at least smile and engage in small talk along with taking our $100 deposit for the room.

Matt C.

Yelp
I have not stayed here but felt this might be important for others. Be aware that this hotel charges double for two people. Yes there is a disclaimer that "Extra person charges may apply" on their website. I was curious thinking that maybe this meant more than 2 so I figured I would look. On their reservation website I chose a random date of Monday May 22 for one night for one adult and no children. The charge for a king bed was $238 which I thought was reasonable for Santa Barbara. Then I changed the reservation keeping the same dates but this time for 2 adults and no children. Now the rate was now $476! Really, who charges per person for a couple to stay in a king bed? Figuring maybe there was something special about the king bed I did the same test for a lowly queen bed. It was the same thing. One adult $238. Two adults $476

Yelp
Enjoyed my over night stay here. The Inn is small, quiet and had polite, helpful staff. My room was very clean and comfortable. Some would say the furniture is outdated with some wear but my bed was clean and comfortable and I didn't stay at this hotel for a luxury furniture experience. I chose this place because it had great reviews, the most reasonable price in the area and was literally a 2 minute walk to the ocean. I also liked the fact that I could park my vehicle right outside my room. I would stay here again.

Pranjali S.

Yelp
Stayed here one night. We got a decent price from Priceline considering we booked the day before our intended travel on a holiday weekend. Very cute inn. Reminds you Mediterranean architecture. It was pretty full when we got there so parking was just a little bit tricky. But there is parking for about 15 cars. Close to the West beach. Check in was quick. The lobby is quite small. The rooms on the other hand are quite big, spacious and beautiful. They do get cold so we had our heater on all night. Coffee in the room itself and pretty good. Bathroom is gorgeous! I was a little surprised with the "small" breakfast. It's all just laid out in the lobby - muffins, pastries, croissants and fruits on one side and another corner with the drinks. We thought the cheese croissant was stale and everything was obviously high in sugar. You eat breakfast back in your room. Or the beach I guess? That saved us an hour of time in our onward journey so turned out a blessing. I'd have given this place 5 stars but that breakfast was a bit of a damper. Maybe they can add ready to cook breakfast omelets or something?

Jeff B.

Yelp
If I could give negative stars, I would. Cute hotel. Great location. Nice rooms. Comfy bed. Nice decor. BUT.... The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. The most inhospitable hospitality clerk I have ever dealt with. I made my reservation through hotels.com for my 83 year old mother who just came up 2 1/2 hours on the train for CHRISTMAS. When we came to check in, we were told that we could only pay with a credit card and that was their policy. She has stayed here previously through hotels.com and they used the debit card that we used to book the room. The impudent unhelpful and rude clerk told us that there was nothing that could be done, we needed to pay by credit card. We told her that we did not have a credit card, but she could run our debit card as a credit card. She refused. I asked what we could do to remedy the situation and she stated " that's simple, I will just cancel your reservation and you can go find another room somewhere else" ON A FRIDAY NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS!! I asked her to call the manager, and she refused. I said I would wait for the manager to arrive, and she asked if I was willing to wait HOURS to speak to him. Thankfully my wife is a good talker, and talked her into calling Dan, the manager, who we know, he is our neighbor. In 90 seconds Dan approved using our debit card and it was all resolved. Dan, if you're reading this I hope that the rude, impudent brunette with the glasses has already been dismissed. If not, you're making a big mistake. I'm sure there are 100 SBCC students waiting in line for her job, any of whom would provide better customer service. Needless to say, we'll be making our booking elsewhere, there are at least 20 other hotels in the area that will take numerous methods of payment, and do not have a complete idiot working at the front desk. Sorry Dan, but this neighbor will not be back to your hotel.

Yelp
This was by far one of the best motels I've ever stayed in. I was so pleasantly surprised by the location, the cleanliness and the size of the rooms. We had a kind bed with a small couch area and a pretty good sized bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and you even have a faucet for filtered drinking water in the bathroom. The room felt very cozy, and while we heard a lot of noise in the early evening, it was very quiet and peaceful at night. It's one block away from the beach and 3 blocks away from the peer and downtown area were you can find a variety of restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and the check in process was very smooth. I really enjoyed staying there and would definitely come back.

Yelp
Don't really understand the good reviews on this place. I stay in hotels over 100 nights a year in my line of work. This hotel doesn't measure up to most of them. Some of the inconvenient, unsafe conditions we encountered: Employees were either not wearing masks properly and some were not wearing them at all. Were not sanitizing pens when signing in, and didn't have sanitizer available so we could do it ourselves. They don't take debit cards or cash for payment- only major credit cards. They wouldn't even allow me to pay for my employee's rooms with my credit card. DIDNT GIVE ME A RECEIPT when I paid upon arrival- you have to physically go into the office to get it in the morning, further subjecting me to potential covid danger. No microwave oven in the rooms so you're forced to order delivery or go out to eat. They have also ended providing a continental breakfast, not even a grab and go. I think it's just laziness and using Covid as an excuse to cut corners And line their pockets. No guide for the tv channels and the remote barely worked so in order to find a channel, I had to sit directly in front of it and click from two inches away. The decor is a random mish-mash of late 1980s and cheap contemporary. Hardware in the shower area was in a terrible state of disrepair- Could not get the bathtub to fill without the shower dribbling the whole time, and then it steadily seeped down the drain because the mechanism didn't allow it to seal. The handle for the water fell off into the tub from even the slightest touch. I think the worst part is that the staff seemed very proud on not having microwaves in the rooms and not serving breakfast. Definitely not worth the money paid. Don't waste your time and money.

Yelp
Ideal location, very cute room, and appropriately clean. You can walk to the train station or to State Street. Front desk closes at nine. They have free parking for one car. Check in and check out were smooth.

Jen T.

Yelp
We had a nice stay. It is in a very convenient location. Short, walking distance away from the beachfront. Staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. My mother wasn't feeling well from the trip over to Santa Barbara and he was able to accommodate checking us in an hour early so she can rest. The only two issues we had were that our cable wasn't working and the walls seem to be paper thin. Either that or our next door neighbors were just loud people. We were only staying a night so I didn't feel they were big enough issues to call front desk about. The room was nice and clean. The bed was spacious enough for the both of us to move around comfortably. All in all, I think we got a great deal!

Jenifer N.

Yelp
There are many hotels to book in Santa Barbara and everything was pretty much filling up for the touristy season. Upon booking this hotel I was feeling like it was a little on the expensive side but it is in walking distance to a lot of things. I really enjoy the cute accents to the rooms here. The door handle/lock to the bathroom is super cute. There is a beautiful mosaic tiling and a purified water spout as well. The rooms have Directv and are really clean. Most rooms have their own back patio as well as a mini fridge and coffee maker. The continental breakfast was a little skimpy but it could be worse. Parking is tight but overall this is a great hotel, I would book here again.

Robert D.

Yelp
Great little cozy spot to stay in Santa Barbra. With in walking distance from the beach. There's not a lot of traffic in the area and nor is there a lot of noise . If your looking for a nice comfortable, clean and well kept place to stay try the Castillo Inn.

Nerissa C.

Yelp
What a great find and only two blocks away from State Street. The room was huge and we had our own patio. There was AC and heat to accommodate any time that you might go to Santa Barbara. Although the decor was on the older side, it was clean and had a lot of charm. Their price when we went in mid-September was pretty competitive.

Brian J.

Yelp
This place is perfect for a weekend getaway. The rooms are very nice and even have a water filter for drinking water. Staff was very nice. And literally a block from the boardwalk. 100% recommend! Just around the corner is a great breakfast place - Chads.

Edward T.

Yelp
*Convenient location *Reasonable price with free parking *If sensitive to street traffic noise, ask for rooms in the back *Quick response for minor issues with the room

George O.

Yelp
I can't even begin to say enough good things about this place!!! This is one of the top three places I've ever stayed! Beautiful, comfortable, well appointed suites with full kitchen, which were stocked with utensils, cups and silverware, should you need it. Immaculately clean, as well!!! The front desk clerk was super nice and friendly. My next stop on my vacation was in Los Angeles, and I found myself really missing this place, since the next hotel I stayed at was a tiny, abysmal affair, staffed by surly, pretentious staff. I seriously recommend that if you're in the area, please stay at the Castillo Inn and you will be glad you did. This place will become your permanent go-to when you're in Santa Barbara!

Nick W.

Yelp
Stayed here for a show at the SB bowl on Saturday night. The room are worn, the towels half size, the carpets old and the walls super thin. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms. There was a ongoing conflict in the parking lot from 13-3am that made us feel flat out UNSAFE. We called management and NO ONE WAS AT THE HOTEL So the alteration went on and on. The police eventually showed up. In the morning the manager said it happened elsewhere and "I don't know what to say." That was the end his empathy. We paid almost $400 for that experience. No discounts or refunds. As someone who travels extensively, all I can say is, I Don't Know What To Say..

Shannon M.

Yelp
Decided to stay here with the family and this place easily for 6 adults comfortably. Two separate rooms and one pullout couch made things really nice. Great size kitchen if you need to cook anything and fridge to keep leftovers. The only thing I wish they had was a bigger bathroom or even a second small one. Walking distance to the beach and overall a quiet place to stay. Also make sure you get there around check in time because no one will be there after a certain time in the evening. Which kind of sucks as well because if you need something like extra towels or anything...you're out of luck. Overall, a great place for the weekend.

Michael C.

Yelp
Location, location, location... That is the main attraction of Castillo Inn. Just about a 5 minute away from everything you need: about a 5 minute walk from wharf, the pier, the beach, Amtrak station or State Street, downtown. It's even a 5 minute drive from the freeway as well... All the locals seem to know exact location of Castillo Inn, leading me to believe there is some sort of historical significance to this place or it has just been around a really, really long time...but that's' just my guess. My room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. It even had a couch and a mini refrigerator in in there as well. Can't say I spent a lot of time there, since I just wanted a place to sleep. The staff was friendly, happy to help and very informative. The only downside is the parking. The parking lot is small and therefore they can only accommodate one car...understandably so. If you have more than one car, one of them will need to be parked on the street. I think the other best part was the value presented by Castillo Inn. I saw similar places nearby that were twice the price. I will definitely stay here again when in SB.

Mara F.

Yelp
The Castillo Inn was overall nice and in a great location. The rooms are not extremely fancy or modern but guests will have everything they need in the rooms. During the weekend I stayed, the rates were a little high but it was less than most of the hotels in the area. My only issue was the cleanliness of the room. We were told our room was ready and clean. When we walked upstairs, the door was slightly ajar so I'm not sure if housekeeping did not finish cleaning. Later on, we tried to use the shower only to find a wad of hair on the wall of the shower and hair hanging from the shower shelf. Not exactly sure how that happened there. And hair in general just freaks me out, especially when it comes from a stranger Overall, I am still on the fence if I would return to the Castillo Inn.

carrie d.

Yelp
Our experience was awful. We actually got a refund and left to go to another hotel because the Customer Service was so bad it was hard to stay at a place where the we had been treated so poorly. The front desk woman was rude from the off-set. We had reserved a Queen bed but were put in a room with a full room. And the manager actually came at me because I told him the queen bed we had reserved was only a full. And in Covid times I didn't think that was great to have happened, let alone in regular times.

Michele S.

Yelp
Super place to stay would definitely recommend Hotel staff is extremely friendly wonderful location next to the beach and restaurants. Very affordable for what you get free parking free Wi-Fi and a great room. The bed was super cozy.

Gina H.

Yelp
We are staying here for the first time celebrating our anniversary and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. First off, check in was very smooth and the staff was very friendly. Next, we went into our room and it was absolutely adorable! Everything was so clean and we especially loved the little balcony. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Santa Barbara.

Nancie M.

Yelp
Great clean quiet inn with refer and nice location and friendly staff. We got here late and were pleasantly greeted even though we accidentally broke a glass vase in parking lot.

Nicole W.

Yelp
Super cute hotel by the beach. We got a room with a queen and pull out couch (#29) (my son and I). Room is spacious, the bed and pull out couch are super comfy. The room was clean. Gentleman at the front desk was nice and the check in was fast. Location is amazing! Unfortunately because of Covid there's no continental breakfast and they are not accepting debit cards. So don't forget your credit cards.

Reece T.

Yelp
I had a reservation through Hotels.com for 10 January. 2018. Cancellation deadline was 6pm 8th January. On 9th January heavy rain brought mudslides over the only ways to get to Santa Barbara from Los Angeles- the 101 Freeway and the railroad. Both are closed indefinitely. Hotels.com called the Castillo Inn and they insisted on keeping their cancellation policy; not even offering a voucher but CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD for the one night stay that I couldn't make due to an Act of God. I have worked in Hospitality my whole working career and when an Act of God occurs affecting a guest we have always gone out of our way by offering alternatives. Castillo Inn did not show any sympathy nor were they willing to offer alternatives. This proved that they ARE NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR GUESTS NOR THE FACT THAT A GUEST WOULD MOST LIKELY RETURN DUE TO BEING TREATED SYMPATHETICALLY... You have lost a future guest and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOUR PROPERTY TO ANYONE.

Leese V.

Yelp
This was a decent little gem located near the beach in Santa Barbara. The room was clean with cherry wood furnishings and a small fridge. Pricing is very reasonable and the room had nice little touches. No pool but you don't need one you are walking distance to the beach! Complimentary fresh coffee and pastries in the mornings---yes!!! Thumbs up here we will def be back.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
This little Inn Wowed me away. It's a real small, 1 story maybe 15-20 rooms "motel/Inn". Like an old school style 70's80's motel 6 but remodeled into a Spanish style inn. This is a small little gem in downtown Santa Barbara that I think not many people knows about. But I liked it!~ I liked it! The rooms are so cute. All the decor and ambiance put you into the Spanish style romantic mood. The pictures of the rooms on here uploaded by them is what it really looks like not like some others that's just a tease for the customer. Great Location. Literally a block to the pier. Parking is right outside your door! (not kidding, literally) A little patio outside of the room that faces Castillo street (If your room is on the street side). Not recommended to walk at night because across the Inn is only a park and its pretty dark when the sun goes down. So if you are traveling with a car, its all good! Love the breakfast! not much but it was the little scones and cookies , coffee and bottled juices that made it! Free Wi-Fi, Free DVD player (that didn't work..lol) Great flat screen Panasonic TV!. I can stay in the room all day to relax if I didn't had to be out and about. Great and Friendly staff. The front desk guy with the beautiful bright blue eyes (I forgot his name) was fun and friendly to chat with. He gave great recommendations! The only one complaint I had was the walls are a little too thin.. lol. So if your neighbor comes back, you can hear their car and their conversations. But that shouldn't be too much of a bother. Not like everyone comes back at 2/3 am in the morning. I WILL BE BACK CASTILLO INN! Even if it's a 2 hr drive weekend getaway at your Inn! :-) So if you're looking for a perfect small motel like but with the amenities and decor of a 4 star hotel, give this little Castillo Inn a try when you're in the Santa Barbara Neighborhood! I paid $90 a night. Also have AAA discount!

Jenny F.

Yelp
We were driving from the Bay Area to SoCal, and needed a place to stop for the night. Very quiet, clean little place by the waterside. The front desk technically closes at 10pm, but the office were willing to wait until 11pm for us to check in. They greeted us by name, which was a nice extra little touch. The rooms were preheated with little space heaters, and since I'm always freezing this was such a bonus! The bathrooms are pretty large, and has clean towels and the needed toiletries. They offer breakfast until 10am, pastries and juices, and check out is at 11am. Lovely little place, no bells or whistles, definitely met our needs for the night. Would recommend if you're passing through.

Don D.

Yelp
This place is so close to Stearns Pier, walking to it in less than 10 minutes and the staff and room is really a steal of a deal! Comfy, cozy and just super nice, especially for the price! The rooms are clean and nice and just plain comfortable. There isn't a reason to get a great room anywhere else! We also went whale watching it it was less than a 5 minute walk! There is a very good breakfast/lunch restaurant less than a 5 minute walk. The 101 freeway is super close. The rooms here are clean and staff is pretty awesome.

Richard T.

Yelp
Pleasant stay at the Castillo inn. This is not a chain hotel, from the check in to entering the room, it's more of an authentic experience, lack of chain corporate structure. The building is charming as the rooms. It's competitively priced, as expected for the area. Friendly staff, clean room, bath tub drain needed some work. Beds were comfortable. If you do get a room on the side of Castillo Street, traffic noise, can be a little noisy, it really didn't bother me. Located across from Pershing Park, a public swimming pool and a brief walk to Stearns Wharf Pier, Yeah! that is nice. I do recommend the walk around the corner to Sambo's Restaurant for breakfast, you wont be disappointed. Their is a Pacific Surfliner's Transit Transfer Program available. On the day you travel on the train, show your ticket to the Santa Barbara Transit bus driver and ride the MTD for free! The MTD bus stops at the Dolphin Fountain in front of the Pier and will take you down State St. to all the shopping and Restaurants. The 101 Highway, is just down the road on Castillo st., easy on/off the highway.Yes, I will be back.

Bob W.

Yelp
We were flying blind when we made a reservation at the Castillo Inn in Santa Barbara. The reviews were good, and the location looked ideal...but you never really know until you get there. We ended being very happy with our stay: The rooms were very clean, the beds were excellent, and the bathrooms were spacious. Small quibbles kept me from awarding the five stars that this establishment otherwise deserves: 1) The lighting in the rooms is provided by extremely bright recessed can lights in the ceiling. You have a choice: the room so brightly lit it hurts your eyes...or total darkness! 2)The WiFi will win no awards for speed in the evening (when everyone is using it), and 3) the manager gives his instructions to new new guests in a tone of voice that reminds me of an elementary teacher telling the first grade class how to use a knife and fork.

Sandi F.

Yelp
I was in town for one night for work and ended up at the Castillo inn. The location is perfect. Super close to the beach and walking distance to various dining options. I was in room 29 which is considered their "Presidential Room". It wasn't anything super fancy but a little bigger than a standard room with a couch tucked into the corner. It had a mini fridge and your standard coffee maker. The room was very clean and the desk attendants were super friendly. The only reason it's 4 stars vs. 5 is because I was there on on extremely hot day during a heat wave where the temperature got up to 93 degrees and they have the thermostat programmed to where it will only go down to a certain temperature (and even that temp seemed much hotter than that inside the room). It would have been nice to be able to turn it down slightly for such a hot day. Overall the experience was good for a quick one night visit and I would stay again.

Samir C.

Yelp
The location is great. A block from the ocean. This place is relatively cheap compared to others in the area. The room we were in felt like a cave with minimal windows and light. We had a baby and needed some assistance. The staff was indifferent. Their breakfast has no hot items. Its an ok place to stay to get close to the ocean and main street.

Rachael M.

Yelp
Tried booking a room here and unfortunately after putting my information in the hotel was full. One week later the manager Nate called me demanding that I pay for my room even though I never booked it. I explained to him I attempted booking but the hotel was full. He was extremely rude to me saying it was not his problem and he straight lied to me saying he had my credit card information on file and was going to charge me even though I didn't book the room. I called the next day to speak to the general manager and sure enough my card was never on file because I didn't book the room!!! I can't believe this Nate manager was so rude and threatened to charge me for something I never booked. Much happier I stayed down the street at a more professional staffed hotel!

Yelp
This little Inn is in a perfect spot relative to the West Beach and Harbor area. We were staying nearby to meet up with friends traveling from the Bay Area a couple times a year, but now that we've discovered this gem there will be no going back. Well appointed, very clean nice size rooms, a friendly staff (Dan at the front desk is the best!), great price point and free parking, which is very unusual for beach adjacent hotels in the area. The King patio rooms are nice, with a table, chairs and an umbrella to sit outside and eat, or just relax. Another small/big thing, very green - real glasses and coffee mugs in the rooms, no wrapped paper or plastic cups to reduce waste. Easy walking distance to restaurants, beaches, Stearns Wharf and State St.

Yelp
We stayed here for a wedding and the room had just been redone. Nice remodel and very clean. Continental breakfast was included. Great value for the area.

Yelp
We stayed here one night. Very close to the beach and across from the park. Parking lot is convenient. The room was nicer than I expected. Everything was close we visited State St and the Zoo. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Good rates even without AAA discounts (which they stopped taking). A nice stroll away from the beach. So prime location for you beach lovers! A quick Uber ride from State street. Or safe group walk. Safety first! Multiple security cameras on the premises. Normally very quiet. But we threw a bachelorette party in one of the rooms. So we were the reason for the unrest. Sorry! Breakfast is very hostel-like: fruits, juices, and maybe a pastry. Don't expect any meats or heavy fillers. This is an inn not a B&B. Parking is tight and they'll give you a pass to put up in your rear view mirror. Plenty of street parking as well. Just be aware of the "no parking" times. Not pet friendly. Surprisingly, not of hotels are in the area. Although many other businesses are. Very odd to me.

Yelp
Wonderful location, easy parking, nice beds, actually pretty room decor for a very reasonable price, and good wifi and amenities in the room. I only wish the tv allowed for roku streaming or something more to my taste than hbo and what I guess was a few cable channels. The breakfast selection was not impressive either. Basic grocery store quality pastries, apples, bananas, cheap coffee. I would definitely stay here again, it was worth the money spent and just a block or two from the beach.

Yelp
The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quite spacious for a smaller hotel/inn. They provide a mini fridge as well as a coffee machine in the room so that's always a plus, but why are there no porch lights for guests to avoid walking into the randomly placed iron chairs? We enjoyed our cracked tv screen until our gracious friendly clerk brought us a brand new replacement tv!!! Beware of the extra $10 fee for each extra person beyond the standard 2. The bonuses are the complimentary continental breakfast that includes fresh local bakeries. Another highlight is that the location is close to everything.

Yelp
Cute little inn right across from the beach. We got the queen sized room for our weekend trip and it was perfect. The room is a good size with a mini fridge, free WiFi and direct tv. The bathroom was bigger than expected. I'd recommend this place to friends and family.

Yelp
Starting to realize big name fancy hotels aren't always the best. Plus, I'd rather spend my $$ on enjoying things and places while I visit other places vs spend on a place to sleep. I say this and I'm a bit of a prissy one lol. Booked on expedia and thought it was a good value and close to the beach. This place exceeded my expectations. We ended up with a suite (didn't realize at the time of booking). Our suite was so perfect! 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room area. Air conditioned rooms and the service was great. Friendly front desk staff. Clean rooms, comfy beds, shower has hot water and great pressure. Have rebooked already for a future summer trip!
