Castle Cottage Inn

Having visited several times I thought it time to write a review. ||This is an exceptional venue to eat and relax. The food is some of the best I’ve had. ||I had steak, my partner had the meat pie, both were excellent. ||The hosts are very nice and even gave me a free desert for my birthday celebrations. The bar is styled around aviation and drink options plentiful. ||If you looking for a place to eat or overnight stay this would certainly be a great choice, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow, what a night I had! This place is honestly amazing — I’d give it 12/10 if I could. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious, full of proper Thai flavour — just really, really good. The rooms were surprisingly detailed, had everything I needed, and were super comfy. The location is pretty cool too — right next to the second steepest street in the world, with a great view of the castle and the sea. If you're into planes, you’ll love the bar room — it’s packed with aviation stuff, which was such a nice touch. Can’t recommend this place enough. The best hotel I've ever stayed in. Beautifully clean, friendly and welcoming staff. Room 7 with castle view was superb. Loved the ambiance, decor, facilities and extra touches like.. everything was taken care of and the breakfast was delicious. Wish we had stayed for dinner but arrived later than expected. Will be staying again for sure and highly recommend. SUBERB 5* THANK YOU

What a fabulous place. Our room (no. 4), on the ground floor, with a limited view of the castle, (1 minute walk away) was spacious and spotlessly clean. It had some lovely extras, such as bathroom scales, air conditioning unit, fan, clothes steamer, comfy sofa and fridge. There were lots of toiletries in the bathroom, which had a bath and wet room. There were plenty of beverages, biscuits and a bottle of water. |Pattra was a perfect hostess, nothing was too much trouble and she made sure we wanted for nothing.|Castle Cottage Inn is on (allegedly) the steepest street in the world, and with only 3 parking spaces, it was a tight squeeze getting in (not for the faint-hearted).|We ate in Pattra's restaurant once which was delicious. Harlech is a small place with therefore limited eating places, but we tried the local pizza restaurant which was made delicious pizzas.|We will definitely be recommending Castle Cottage Inn to our friends.

Quality, tasteful, comfortable are the words that jump to mind. Lovely room, a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Couldn't want for more 😊 We didn't eat here in the evening, which was a mistake. Would definitely do so if we come again.

Stayed in room 7. What a fantastic hotel, stay, location and marvellous hosts. Highly recommend. Extremely well run business. Attention to detail, passionate about customer service and delicious food. Spotlessly clean. First Class! Thanks for a great stay.

The best accommodation we have ever stayed at. The room was spotless and included everything we needed for our stay. We were staying for our wedding anniversary and Pattra made the weekend so special having decorated our table for breakfast and again for our evening meal in the restaurant. The food was excellent with a good range of breakfast items including fruit, cereals, vegetarian breakfast & full Welsh cooked breakfast. The evening meal was fantastic; my wife chose the steak which was perfectly cooked and I had the nicest chicken schnitzel that I've had anywhere.|Pattra and her team are so friendly & attentive and made our stay in Harlech truly special - we will definitely be back.

Genuinely fabulous! A stunning location, lovely clean room with some unexpected embellishments. Wonderful staff, serving exceptional food and a really cool aviator themed bar! (breakfast delivered the night before for an early check out!) my photos don't do it justice. I just hope I'm not doing myself an injustice by reviewing this place to find it not available next time I come to stay!
