Castle Cottage Inn

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this charming inn in Harlech. The location is perfect, with breathtaking views of the castle and the sea right from our window! The room was modern and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed – tea, coffee, biscuits, and even hot chocolate. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring we had a restful night.||One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the restaurant downstairs, 'Pattra’s.' We were lucky to visit on a Thai-themed night, and the food was simply beautiful! Pattra and the other lady who took care of us were both incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring we were well looked after throughout the evening.||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this inn to anyone visiting Harlech.

We really enjoyed the 400+year old location next to Harlech Castle. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The room was very room, bathroom modern and the bed & pillows very comfortable. Loved the exposed timbers that contributed to the ambiance. The pub was cozy with good beers & whiskey's. The restaurant serves outstanding food and our breakfast was to order and very filling. We really enjoyed the two night stay.

This was an excellent place to stay. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean. The bed was just right with lots of pillows. We treated ourselves to dinner which was excellent. The breakfast had an excellent selection. I would definitely stay here again

Everything at this B &B is first rate. Large, comfortable, quiet, stylish rooms with very comfortable beds and nice linens. A work space and a couch. Large bathroom with huge towels. Spotlessly clean and nice decorations that did not take up a lot of space. Good WiFi. Good lighting. Tea and coffee and cookies with a kettle in the room.||We asked for a ground floor room and got one.||Delicious made to order warm breakfasts plus cold options including really good fruit bowls in buffet. ||Pattra is a wonderful host who has many extra touches down to candies! ||Dinners are exceptional, especially on weekends.||We chose not to park in front of the B & B even when spaces available and opted for a lot a couple of blocks away just for ease of getting out. The streets are steep!

We've been going to Harlech for 27 years and first time we stayed at the Castle Cottage. It was perfect! Such a wonderful stay in every way. The room was stunning as were the views; the meal and breakfast were fantastic. The hosts were so friendly and their attention to detail was incredible. We will be coming back here for sure. Thank you so much.

Lovely hotel in Harlech. Host was one of the nicest people I've met - couldn't be more helpful! Room was great, and had the best scrambled egg for breakfast. Can't recommend this hotel enough 😊

Wow! Amazing hotel and staff. Would highly recommend and will be returning 😀 the hotel is so welcoming and the bar has a unique style. Pattra and the team make the hotel feel like home from home. Parking is on a 1st come 1st serve basis which was fine for us, however there is parking just down the road.

Can only comment on the restaurant, just wow! Absolutely wow! From being met as we arrived to paying the bill we were treated with respect and genuine friendliness. The restaurant is light and airy with plenty of room between tables. 4 course menu from appetisers,starters,main and dessert. Skipped first course and began with 2 chicken and mango salads and 2 duck wraps,delicious. Main was 2 Welsh rib steaks,chicken katsu curry and beef and ale pie. All mouth watering and beautifully presented. And to finish,only for 2 of us,was chocolate cheese cake and the cheese board,again delicious. Excellent selection of wines and beers. An absolutely fantastic way to finish our holiday thank you.
