"Bavaria meets Florida at this Marriott Autograph Collection property, midway between downtown Orlando and the theme parks, and close to the Orange County Convention Center. The hotel’s unique decor pairs antlers and fake fur with pastels and palm trees, and adds elaborate chandeliers and original artwork throughout. Accommodations have fairy tale–inspired carved headboards and marble bathrooms; book a corner room for a separate seating area—in a turret overlooking the lush grounds. The Poseidon spa pampers you like royalty with body, skin, and beauty treatments that employ ocean-derived ingredients, and massages can be arranged in room or in the garden. Breakfast and lunch are served at the bright and airy Garden Bistro, with dinner and drinks available in the Antlers Lounge, but you can walk to restaurants and attractions along International Drive, including the Orlando Eye Ferris wheel. Just be back before dark: From the Sky Terraces, guests have views of nightly fireworks and may spot another nearby castle—Hogwarts at Universal Studios."

We love this hotel. Have stayed here countless times over the years. Great location! Staff is super nice and helpful! Beds and pillows are so comfortable. Bartenders do their best with what’s available on the shelf, maybe management could buy few more items so they don’t run out! But they really do a great job. Always an enjoyable stay.

I come every year for our team conference and always stop in at the cute little bar by the lobby when I arrive. This year (and last) they have some new bartenders, Holden and David, who take my stay up a level. They are so friendly and welcoming, make great drinks and are always super helpful. They have great local recommendations, and just make the experience at the bar more fun, even on a slow night. Genuinely good people. Rooms are solid and all staff is great and helpful but really enjoy the vibe in the bar when they’re here.

My wife and I were excited to stay at the Castle Hotel for our 11th wedding anniversary. The hotel was nice, clean, and close to the attractions we were going to attend. We briefly stayed in our room prior to our outing around town. When we got back, we quickly became discouraged with our room. The toilet had a flushing issue. You had to hold the handle down until it completed the flush. A little thing I know. The next 2 things were more aggravating though. The A/C said it was at 65 degrees but there is no way it was close to that. It was maybe 75. I like it cooler around 70-72 while I sleep. It was too hot for comfort and no way to lower the temperature. Lastly, was our bed. It was like sleeping on concrete. I tossed and turned all night as did my wife. She likes a firm bed and I like a softer bed. But this bed was way too hard. I was very disappointed with our stay. As a result, I would not go back nor would I refer anyone to stay there. It definitely took our wonderful and special night down a few notches. The corners they cut to save money make it not worth the stay. Look for somewhere else to stay if you are traveling to the area. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one was because it was clean and in a great location.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was very quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable and shower was decent. The hotel had a great vibe. The employees were great, especially in the bar. The pool was warm. It has an adult feel and there were not a lot of kids. The location is good. They have complimentary coffee in the morning which was replaced with cookies for Memorial Day during our stay in the afternoon. I wish they had more chairs at the pool and umbrellas! For the love of god, we need shade, the sun directly hit the pool all afternoon. And $35 per night for parking is a little ridiculous. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and every little detail made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.||A special mention goes to the breakfast service — Yucepp, Mauricio and Borys were excellent, always attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Another special mention to dinner service — David, our waiter, was also fantastic, professional and polite. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!

I’ve visited this hotel many times over the past five years during my work trips, and it’s consistently been a wonderful experience. It’s a peaceful, well-maintained property, and we always enjoy the friendly, familiar faces of a few key staff members who truly elevate our stay. A huge shout-out to Holden for making the evenings in the bar area so enjoyable. He’s attentive, upbeat, and always brings a great energy. Thank you for living up to — and exceeding — the high standards we expect from Marriott. Luis at the pool — after staying here nearly ten times, this was the first time we had a truly standout poolside experience! Your cocktail skills are top-notch, and your cheerful, welcoming presence made our afternoons a blast. You managed multiple tabs for my (very needy) colleagues while keeping us well-fed and well-hydrated — salud! You took great care of my wife for five days straight, and your dedication made her stay exceptional. Castle, you’ve got something special here. Holden and Luis didn’t just give us a hotel stay — they turned it into a resort experience. Thanks for making my Ambassador Elite status truly worth it!

The best part of the my stay was the staff. EVERYONE I dealt with was amazing… polite, professional, and helpful. (Even when I was trying to get people checked into 6 rooms!)||My room was comfortable and relaxing. The location of the hotel was convenient for everywhere we went. The water pressure in 513 was perfect… and hot!!! My room was clean. They had fruit-infused water in the lobby and free chocolate chip cookies. There was plenty of parking. I HONESTLY LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!||A special shout-out to the manager Ryan who checked in on us continuously… smoothing over any little inconveniences and to poor Tupac who somehow manages to be EVERYWHERE AT ONCE… helping with bags, getting packages, making sure there was space for a 24 foot box truck… and managing to smile the whole time! Again… this is one of my favorite Marriotts… and I’m Titanium and have stayed at hundreds!

The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very tasty and I liked that you could order waffles and eggs as you wanted them. Bonus… they have fresh cookies every day for a couple hours in the afternoon!! I felt very safe knowing you needed your room key to use the elevators.

Yelp
Okay for a weekend stay only. Overall, a decent hotel, but did not look like the pictures- maybe I looked at the wrong pictures. It happens. The hotel is located in a good area for walkability between Universal and I-Drive. Close to a lot of restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The hotel was clean. The Guild is a restaurant located on the first floor. It was decent, and the staff were friendly. The hallways to the rooms are dark- it just seems old. However, the rooms have been completely remodeled. They were nice and clean. No noted mold or mildew. I felt comfortable sleeping in the bed. The pool was closed for maintenance. Parking $35 Breakfast Buffet $25 I would consider staying again.

Yelp
Castle Hotel This seemed like a pretty decent hotel to book solely to shower and have a place to lay my head for two nights (no intentions to use the pool, gym, buffet breakfast, or any other facilities/offerings). And the price was OK. I was surprised to see the Four Diamond plaque on the wall, as I didn't get that vibe from the pictures I've reviewed before booking. The front desk staff did uphold that honor. They were friendly, insightful, and very helpful. When I got to the room I noticed that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a large TV with the basic 50 or so cable channels. You're also able to order food delivery and the front desk will call up to let you know they've received it. You also receive two complimentary bottles of water upon check in, but after that it's $2 per bottle. While preparing for bed the first night, I realized there were quite a few issues - and I may have been nitpicking... The toilet is lower to the floor then I'm used to, which wasn't a huge issue, just a callout. Also, the toilet paper holder was directly behind me so I had to remove the toilet paper and place it on the counter for easy access. They didn't have anything labeled hand soap so I used "cleansing soap" assuming that's similar. It was immediately VERY drying. My hands felt like paper. The water pressure from the shower is OK, but the towels are small. Another thing that bothered me is that the drawers in the bedroom don't fit adult size clothing. You have to use the dresser in the closet that contain the safe in the top drawer. Also, if you plan on heating up leftover food - you can't. There's no microwave in the room. You may be able to request one. I am unsure. I didn't want one bad enough to ask. And if you're like me and prefer to charge your electronics near your bed at night, there's one outlet on the side of the bed nearest the window where a lamp is plugged in plus two USB ports, however the outlet wouldn't hold any plugs, and there weren't enough outlets in the room compared to most hotels. Lastly, but my two most important pet peeves during this stay: housekeeping and lack of soundproofing. When I checked in I specifically requested housekeeping because I'd be sharing the room with someone else. During the time housekeeping was supposed to clean our room, we were out and wouldn't be back until early the next morning, so when we returned we didn't have the option to ask someone to come clean it. Housekeeping didn't add any trash bags in the trash cans either. I had some issues falling asleep with the surrounding noise. You can hear everything happening in the halls, especially conversations as if you are a part of them. Very thin (old?) walls. The windows are not soundproof so you will also hear every vehicle that has a loud engine. Not ideal for a light sleeper like me. It's a cool idea for a hotel, but for me the service and experience weren't executed well. I prefer the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

George G.

Yelp
In an area where there is an abundance of hotels and different deals. There's this little hidden gem. Be aware of all added fees. Service is great, clean rooms small pool.

Aleisia D.

Yelp
Overall, this is a nice hotel. It is clean and I love the decor! The staff is nice. The food is so so. I wasn't impressed with their breakfast buffet but they had Starbucks so I was happy. One thing I was dissatisfied about this hotel with is one the food. I had ordered room service and got a quesadilla and it was not good. Secondly, you can order room service, but it doesn't apply to breakfast. being that I was there for work. I did not want to have to come all the way downstairs just to get breakfast and coffee, but I had no choice at this hotel. If you're in Orlando and you need a nice place to stay this hotel has a great ambience. The decor is wonderful. The staff is friendly. The Jacuzzi and pool are also nice.

Lindsey U.

Yelp
Pros: - Unique castle atmosphere, loved the themed elements - Staff is extremely helpful and polite, one of the best Marriott staffs I've encountered - Everything was clean - Remodeled rooms are now much more modern and elevated, especially the new bathrooms - Great location, able to walk to icon park Cons: - You shouldn't have to pay for parking in a parking lot that is completely open and free to the public, if anything have it free for people staying at the hotel ONLY - This isn't a high end hotel, it's more on par with smaller cheaper marriotts, I think the breakfast buffet should be free like some of their other properties - No body wash provided in bathrooms

Julie W.

Yelp
Arrived late, quick check in, room was clean, fun style (old school classy?) and everything worked. For the price, this was pretty unbeatable. I saw there was breakfast in the morning but had to hurry out.

Yelp
Room 405. The shower head had a big leak on the top and the ceiling had cold condensation water droplets. Water would not get hot. Upon checking in the receptionist asked if we would like our room serviced every day and we said yes. When we returned in the afternoon it was not. Around 5 we heard a knock on the door asking if we needed linen. I tried asking / stating that we were hoping our room had been serviced but there seemed to be a language barrier. A couple minutes later I asked another employee (Spanish speaker) we could get our room serviced once we left again and she said yes, however when she looked at her clipboard we were not on the list. When we came back that evening that room was not serviced..!! Huge disappointment. Bed was comfortable. There was only 1 small dresser which was in the closet. The room could have used another dresser or bench on the right side of the bed, there was definitely room for it. Joe was great !! Extremely helpful and friendly. He made our experience a lot better.

Hyun P.

Yelp
Nicely decorated hotel, walking distant to Icon Park, close to a lot of restaurants. Parking was $25/night. The body wash bottle was empty and they gave us small tube ones. Would stay here again if I'm in Orlando.

Britney M.

Yelp
This hotel is both rustic and glamorous! The combination doesn't seem to fit at first glance. Inside is a very country like feel with skins and bones as decorative pieces. And then there's a touch of glamour and fabulousness! The two styles oddly flow well together inside this hotel. The outside of the hotel is just STUNNING. It looks like a castle you would see in Ireland... Or in a movie/ on a Hollywood set. It's gorgeous!!!! The pool and grounds are beautiful. The architecture creates a romantic atmosphere at this hotel. Absolutely

Astrid B.

Yelp
This hotel deserves every star, it's a pitty that the Marriott hasn't invested money in remodeling this wonderful place. Their staff is absolutely outstanding! Courteous, friendly, efficient. I'm shocked to see how much effort the staff put to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Rare to see a human resource as efficient, engaged and capable of teamwork in such a wonderful way as this crew of people. I would love to come back and see this hotel remodel with this incredible group of amazing staff!!!

Mimi P.

Yelp
The pool is no longer heated since the heater has been down for a month now. Twice I called your establishment and both times the front desk stated the pool was heated. This information needs to be posted on your website and social media pages. Honesty is key.

Lisette B.

Yelp
This is an amazing hotel in Orlando, right by Icon Park. I think the bad reviews stem from a couple years ago, when it wasn't remodeled yet. They remodeled 2 years ago and the rooms are fantastic now. They all come with a little sitting area. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Beds are very comfortable and pillows fluffy. Front desk staff was amazing. I interacted with Shanice and Lisa and they were both great. They have a bar downstairs and will even make you Starbucks drinks. Will be back.

Yelp
Castle hotel is a pretty good international drive hotel. I was in town the other day and wanted to stay near family on international drive. I narrowed down my search to Castle and crossed my fingers I checked in about 3pm on Saturday. It was a quick and easy check in. The entry and check in area was nice, if not quirky. I appreciated that it wasn't a typically designed area. There were odd and interesting paintings and such around the hotel that made it very singular. I'm not sure if its a chain but it didn't feel like it, which was nice. It seemed remodeled as the building seemed older but was nice. The room was pleasant as well. I appreciated the extra area by the window with a couch to hang out by. I did get a chance to use the gym in the morning. It was in good condition and had all the right things. The Pool area was solid. The bar area I was only in for 1 drink but had a fun vibe while I was there. There is the bonus that there is Cafe Tu Tu Tango right behind the hotel that you can walk to. They had plenty of food and drink options as well. I'm sure to be back to Castle, next time in the area.

Yelp
I have stayed at countless Marriotts in my life (seriously, please don't make me count them) and oftentimes it's very cookie cutter in nature. That is why I was so pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across a Marriott that was unique and I stillll got to collect those points, baby. The Castle Hotel is truly a vibe. Not only is it awesome looking from the outside and resembles, you guessed it, a castle - the accommodations as you arrive (from the valet, bell man, front desk, bartender and other general staff) really makes you feel at home. Good thing, since I was staying here for about a week! There was a rumor being spread which I have not yet fact checked that the owner of Marriott's daughter wanted to stay at the Disney castle and they couldn't get in so he built her his own? Haha let me know if you have any real information surrounding this history. The ambiance inside is delightful with a throne for photo taking purposes and you can even spin a wheel to win a free appetizer or something! It's a digital kiosk near the front desk. Check it out! The pool was everything I wanted and more with an outside bar just feet away that served up delicious food (again, not expectant of a typical Marriott) with DIVINE truffle fries! Pair this with a Pina Colada and finito, set all your troubles aside. I enjoyed the hot tub just as much after long days on my feet at a trade show. The only downside is how early they close - I mean, it's a hotel I get it, but man had it been open til like midnight I would have been in heaven. The bartenders came to know me throughout my stay and were incredibly pleasant and helpful. They routinely went above their necessary work functions to make sure we were taken care of very well! Shout out to the cleaning staff for making us feel pampered each night when we got home - something about fresh sheets when you're out and about all day feeling grimey haha. If you're in the Orlando area, I cannot stress enough - make this place your home! They are still close to everything and the hospitality (especially in these times post-Covid) really sets the bar HIGH! You won't be wanting to return to your actual home, that's for sure...

Carrie S.

Yelp
Very nice and clean. It's not a Ritz, so don't have high expectations. But location was perfect for us, pet friendly and clean is the key.

Diana D.

Yelp
The only areas of improvement for this hotel are their drink prices and the hotel is a little old. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to provide with great service. Excellent location, this is right next to Icon Park and within walking distance to a bunch of different restaurants and activities. It is definitely on the nicer part of international drive, so that's a plus. Their pool is a lot more fun than it looks, so give it a try!

Lisandra P.

Yelp
I booked this hotel for my birthday weekend to feel like a princess. I actually felt like a queen! I'm in love with this hotel, and I can't believe I have never seen it before. Hands down, this one of the best hotels I've stayed in Orlando. The location is prefect, next to all the restaurants, Icon park, 10 minutes from Unverisal Studios and 19 minutes from Epcot. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows as well. It was so hard to get up in the morning. The shower was awesome, with an overhead rain type shower as well as a separate hand held shower head with great pressure. I really liked the roof-top terrace with amazing views of I-Drive attractions on the 9th floor. A special thank you to Christiana for your beautiful smile, and kindness shown while checking me in. I truly loved my surprise with the balloons, chocolate and the hand written card.(she definitely made my night)! Every time you walk into the Hotel by the front desk, you are greeted with a smile and offered great service.

Yelp
Spent a great week here for a convention, sharing a room with my sister to mix in a little touristy pleasure while in town. The additional breakfast was fantastic! Approx $20 for a gorgeous buffet of continental favorites, hot items like waffles, meats and potatoes, AND custom omelette was well worth the price. Great location! Very short walk to the Orlando Eye, and Icon Park, which is a surprising transport into an amazing park with great restaurants like Gordon Ramsay Fish -n-Chips, Blake Shelton's Ol' Red, a real kiddie train, play and pet areas, giant bungee jumping, indoor carnival, and much more! Stay here when you're in town for a convention; very easy drive to the Conv. Center, yet a quiet and comfortable hotel for work or socializing (vibrant bar for those end of day cocktails). Bring extra cubes and longer cords for devices though. The outlet situation isn't the greatest. We also had to use the coffee maker in the bathroom because there was no logical and convenient outlet for it. Front desk/housekeeping happily provided a bag full of coffee accoutrements when requested, since two coffee drinkers were there for the week. Bartenders also happily provided buckets of ice since there was some maintenance being done in our floor blocking the maker. Nice pool with lovely outdoor bar and seating.

Yelp
Third time staying at this great property, love the autograph collection with its attention to art and decor. The Castle is in a fantastic location in close proximity to Icon Park and many bars and restaurants on I-Drive. Rooms were very clean, crisp sheets and comfortable bed. Spent an evening in their pool/hot tub and then watching the Disney fireworks from their rooftop deck. Recommend staying at this unique and great hotel.

Catalina T.

Yelp
Wow!! the customer service here was truly magical and Danny at the front desk, sure made me feel like a princess in a castle! Thank you for making my bday so special! He was so genuine, kind, happy, friendly, and all around a phenomenal personal that I can almost say we became friends. Our chats when checking in or even just walking back in were so nice. Danny, thank you again for everything you did for us. There is many hotels out there but there is only one Danny and Danny here makes me want to come back to the Castle Hotel anytime I come to Florida.

Joe D.

Yelp
This has to be the most ghetto autograph collection hotel I've ever stayed in. It would be more appropriately branded a days in or holiday inn. The rooms reek of mold and highest quality rooms are tiny. The staff is all very nice. I just don't think this is deserving of the name.

Aidilyn G.

Yelp
Decided to book a local staycation to get away from the busy everyday routine. This hotel was amazing from the moment we checked in with Gabriel to the entire experience. Our room was so clean and so neat! After going to dinner on I-drive we decided to stop in for drinks at the bar in the restaurant and had two delicious espresso martinis. We even ordered a charcuterie board to take to them room and it was a delicious night snack to have with our martinis. We spent Saturday at the pool and the only disappointing thing about our entire stay was how hot the pool was, it truly felt like a hot tub which is not enjoyable on a hot April Florida day. This was every guests complaint heard throughout the pool. Otherwise, the facility itself is very well kept up, the bar services in the pool area was great as well! We will definitely come back and can't wait to spend another relaxing weekend here.

Hector B.

Yelp
This has always been one of my fun places to stay when I'm in Orlando. It seemed different this visit! The art was tasteless and weird. The cool bar is now a restaurant. The cool chairs have been traded out. The cool lunch and breakfast spot is no longer. I still enjoyed my stay but I was disappointed.

Hugh P.

Yelp
The re-modeling has been completed and the hotel reopened. While there is still no breakfast service yet,the location, rooms, and staff are good. Joanna and Christina at check-in were attentive. The room was very clean. The location is in the middle of International Drive. I will be back!

Carolyn A.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Loved all the little design touches and how the "castle" idea was suggested but not in your face. Will definitely be back!

Maitina M.

Yelp
The hotel itself is in a great location so that's a plus. It's your typical Autograph hotel series but I must say that I was not as impressed with this particular hotel compared to others that I've been to. I guess I was expecting more of a castle like decor. I got to dine here and had their salmon cakes which were very good. I paired it with their patatas bravas which had way too much sauce on it but the potatoes themselves tasted like your typical breakfast potatoes cooked in hotels. I did enjoy both but noticed there were way too much fruit flies in the dining area. In their defense, I did not mention this to the waitstaff but I figured it's something they would have noticed. Upon check out, I grabbed a glass of water in their lobby area and I was once again greeted by the fruit flies. Crazy. Other than this, my room was very comfortable and the service was decent. I wouldn't hesitate to return here when I'm back in Orlando.

Kalvin K.

Yelp
I've been in the Orlando area for a long time and I remember when I first saw this hotel go up. Being an Orlando resident I didn't stay in hotels, but I did have a business meeting here and my manager did stay here. He mentioned the rooms were very nice. The amenities are about average here and far from the four star rating it receives via Marriott (they were bought out).

Candy C.

Yelp
Close to shops, restaurants, and the convention center, Castle hotel was the right hotel for the intention of our trip. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant/bar on sight, a swimming pool/jacuzzi, and a very small market area behind the front desk (only accessible by the hotel clerk). The ninth floor provides a nice sitting area. Overall a clean hotel inside and well maintained grounds surrounding the outside. My only qualm is that although a guest laundry was very much appreciated, I wish they offered more than one washing machine and dryer. Doing laundry is not something I do while away on holiday, however in this case, fresh attire was in need. Other than that, I enjoyed our stay here.

InThe D.

Yelp
Great place to stay! While an older hotel, it is kept well. The rooms are spacious (especially if you get a tower room). Pool is pristine and decor is cool.

Lauren C.

Yelp
Clean rooms, polite and kind staff, unique and beautiful decor, fantastic location. What's not to like?! My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Only downside is a small pool.

Vero M.

Yelp
We had an excellent time at the Castle Hotel! They have upgraded their facilities not only on the exterior but the interior as well. The housekeeping and front desk staff members were amazing, the bathroom and bedroom were both wonderfully decorated in old English castle theme but not overbearing. Just the right touch. They met a normal clean standard for hotels, the showers were new and they gave that new hotel vibe because they were recently renovated. To be honest it was not what I was expecting even after seeing some reviews. Everything smelled fresh, I don't know if that matters to anyone else but it does to me. The pool and Jacuzzi were lovely, the kids had a great time. They probably need to update their yelp to let people know that they know they no longer serve breakfast a la cart and it's now buffet style. There were plenty of photo ops around the property like huge thrones, knights, and oversized masquerade chairs. Overall it was a pretty good visit.

Brian K.

Yelp
This place is great! I recently brought my family to Orlando and was really excited to stay in the Castle Hotel. As I like to say, your vacation doesn't end when you settle in for the night, so you might as well stay somewhere fun. So what's so great about it? Obviously, it's a freaking castle, so there's that. The building and interior are all designed with a castle motif, but not in a cheesy Medieval Times sort of way, more like a modern castle. Antlers and art decorate the walls, the pool is amazing, and when we arrived they gave my daughter her own tiara and scepter! She loved it, so I loved it. We had such a good time, we made a video about our experience. Check it out: https://youtu.be/WwqZxZQjwxw

Yelp
Stayed at the Castle Hotel for a week during a conference at the Orange County Convention Center. The location is prime and only a few minutes away to the center. The front desk and turn down service was consistent and great quality. However, my main disappointment was in the rooms and amenities. The hotel is just old and they have not worked to renovate or keep up the appearance. The doors are worn down, mirrors are rusting, sockets are dusty, beds are flimsy, and the rooms are just dark. My co-workers also complained that the air conditioning in their rooms did not work well and they were warm all night. Luckily my room stayed cool. The best way to describe this hotel is that is is a Los Angeles/Beverly Hills housewives wannabe hotel. A lot of nice antler decorations, purple, silver beads dangling in the lobby bathrooms, etc... but then really it's dingy and cheap on the side (i.e. the rooms). The gym was also super hot! My co-worker and I both agreed that it was like a sauna in there. If people are working out, I would think they'd like cooler temperatures since they are already sweating. Overall, I enjoyed the service provided, but would not return to this hotel. I don't think it was worth the $200+ a night I paid for the rooms and feel like I could've found somewhere better. If they did a revamp, it might be worth it, but i don't think anyone goes through and actually checks to make sure everything is looking good. Doesn't seem like they do any deep cleans either (see photos).

Don P.

Yelp
Pretty much every single thing about this recent staycation was 'textbook positive' hospitality, and I can VERY easily recommend a reservation at this property. The check-in greeting was friendly, welcoming, and accurate. My room was well-appointed and everything in working order . . . and very clean on arrival. The theming is unique but not extreme (which is part of the personality of an Autograph Collection hotel). The staff at the bar was excellent for my minimal needs. Guests are in easy walking distance to numerous experiences on I-Drive. Check-out was also very easy, and included a sincere invite for future visits . . . and I will. Thanks, Castle Hotel!!

Carla C.

Yelp
This is the first time staying at this property while in town for a convention. Based on the reviews, we didn't know what to expect, but thankfully were pleasantly surprised. We were upgraded to an executive suite, so I can't vouch for the other rooms. This one is good, nothing too special, but is clean and nicely decorated (for the age of the hotel). The pool area has a bar area and has service around the pool. The food was very good; I had it every day for lunch. Connected by a walkway are a few restaurants, which was quite convenient. We'd definitely stay here again!

Juselle D.

Yelp
Hotel is super nice but I am really not a fan of the daily rate for parking. At $15 a day, parking is a little expensive especially since it's not covered or in a secured or gated lot. However, the room is very spacious. The bathroom is clean and the staff are really inviting and nice. Upon check-in the front desk asked my daughter if she was still able to be a princess. She is 9 so OF COURSE she told them "yes" lol. They then gave her a princess crown and wand. She was on cloud nine all the way to our room. Kudos for that part. We got in late but I was able to peek around the amenities which seem pretty awesome. The decor is really regal and makes the place really feel special. I am also pretty excited about being so close to the theme parks. Definitely a nice place to stay in Orlando!

Yelp
This hotel has got to be one of the most Intriguing places I've stayed in to date. There is a full bar Inside with great drinks. There is also a great Mexican restaurant that sits directly behind the hotel which serves some of the best guacamole. Check-in was seamless, the breakfast was standard. The rooms were clean, efficient and beds comfy. I can definitely say I would back another stay here.

Yelp
We stayed at the Castle Hotel for my husband's birthday and it the staffs went above and beyond to help us celebrate by decoraring the room. It was a really nice surprise and truly the icing on the cake for our stay. Extra thanks to Shelly, Lisa, Gabe, & 'Tupac'!

Yelp
Always a good option when in Orlando. Large pool and hot tub with outside bar. Great location around multiple restaurants.

Yelp
We loved our too quick stay here! Clean, well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds, and friendly staff. We didn't get a chance to eat here so I can't speak on that. The rooftop patio had beautiful views and is perfect for having a drink with friends. I'd love to go back and see if you can watch theme park fireworks from it. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
The Castle Hotel, Signature Collection is our absolute favorite place to stay in Orlando. My husband and I have stayed at many resorts and hotels over the years, but The Castle has quickly become our favorite. We absolutely love dining at Tu Tu Tango for Brunch,Lunch, or Dinner. Their menu is outstanding, as is their staff. The hotel's location is very convenient, being that it's only a 10 minute drive from Universal Studios Resort, or about a 20 minute drive to Walt Disney World, as well as walking distance to icon park, and many other locations. We also love the unique decor of the hotel that feels very upscale, yet not stuffy in any way. The Pool and HotTub are well maintained and there is a great bar just alongside them as well. We can't wait for our next stay at The Castle Hotel, Signature Collection.

Yelp
Definitely not up to par with Marriotts other Autograph Collection properties. Yes the hotel is cool and different, it's themed and well decorated, and the pool area/grounds are beautiful....but it lacks in accommodation standards, service, and amenities. The personnel are great! Friendly and accommodating, you can tell they are doing what they can with what they have been given. And the saving grace here was the rate....we got it for $65/nt on hotels.com. Marriott wouldn't match the rate through Bonvoy so we had to go through a 3rd party. Normally it's $115-135/nt. Understandably things are a little different with COVID19, however, we waited until Florida was in Phase 3 to take a little vacation. Although many other hotels are fully functioning, this one is not. So keep that in mind before you book. They are no on-site food options at all, none of the restaurants are open, there's no room service, and the outdoor pool bar is also closed. The lobby bar is open from 5-10pm, and that's it, that's all you get. There is a TuTu Tango Restaurants on the backside of the building but it gets extremely overcrowded. They are still not cleaning your rooms, or swapping out your used towels, or even emptying your trash. This was a common practice during the first few months of the pandemic but at this point they should at least be coming in to get you clean towels and take out the trash. We didn't expect the room to be vacuumed or the place to be spotless, but at the very least towels and trash could be removed daily. Not here, you will have to call for those services. Parking is ok unless you are coming back after 6pm. Between the Restaurant and the Hotel guests, it's not enough parking. The people at TuTu Tango park at the hotel as well, so they have limited space in the evenings. Lastly, the rooms are run down and cheap. There may be some "tower" rooms that are upgraded and nice but the standard rooms look like dressed up Motel 6 rooms. This must've been an older hotel they built on, you can tell the closets, the lighting, the walls, the ceiling, the finishes....all old and run down. Shower water pressure was non existent. The closet had no lights and it was an awkwardly located, pillows were flat, the there are no sheer curtains on the windows, just the blackout curtains. So you have no privacy if you want to let in some light. It was disappointing. Like I said, at $65/nt it was all good because you are getting what you pay for. But if you've stayed at any of Marriotts other Autograph Collection resorts, you will be left wanting at this one.

Yelp
My wife and I had a great four night stay here recently while I attended a conference just down the road at the Convention Center. At check-in we opted to wait 15 minutes or so for a room on the top floor. The view up on 9 is amazing and there are open air terraces at either end from which we could see the fireworks at EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom. The hallways are dark with these LED lit candelabras and even darker art work. I guess it fits in with their castle theme. Our room was a good size with a comfy bed and quiet neighbors. We took advantage of the Elite reception/happy hour each evening for a free drink. Didn't have a chance to enjoy their circular pool but it looked inviting. Parking is charged which is a bummer but probably necessary with all the nearby restaurants. I walked a little over a mile each day to reach the convention center from the hotel. It was a pleasant walk except the two afternoons I didn't quite make it due to thunderstorms. That's par for the course in Florida and I just popped in the skydiving place one time and Hooters the other. We would definitely consider returning here as the rates were reasonable, the location great and the Marriott points a bonus.

Yelp
I loved this hotel. It was super cute, the bed was soooo comfortable, they are pet friendly and it was super quiet. Also very close to convention center. Restaurant and bar downstairs was great. Too cold to use the pool but it looked inviting. Will stay here for my next conference!

Yelp
Castle Hotel has been one of the more relaxing hotels we've stayed at. I don't know if it's how low key it is or if it's because everything is white but something about this joint makes it really comfortable to stay in. Either way My husband was determined to have his little girl spend the night in a Castle. We've stayed at many hotels/resorts in the area to include The Bohemian which had the same designer. The service and aesthetics at this place are on point. I don't know if this like a resort where you want to hang out all day but it's perfect for when you need a place to lay your head for a night or two. The location of this hotel is walking distance from the eye and several major restaurants! About 30 minutes from Disney and 15 from Universal! International BLVD gets slammed with traffic during certain times so the location is very desirable!! A few key notes I gathered is that the bartender at the restaurant downstairs makes the best blue cheese stuffed martinis! Head upstairs to the terrace with your cocktails with a clear 360 of Orlando and enjoy the Disney fireworks from a distance and the light of Universal on the opposite end. Room service is a little pricier than even when we stayed at The Ritz but the food was better and it was very prompt! Which is the whole point of room service! We were going to hit the spa but ran out of time and it was too cold to layout by the pool but we will definitely enjoy both when we come back!

Yelp
This place was wonderful for a two night stay for a quick girl's trip weekend! Easy to find with tons of restaurants located within walking distance, I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a fun, lodge-y, sexy feel. During the day, the place looks like a castle but a little colorless as it's white with silver peaks BUT in the evening, it glows purple and is quite pretty to see. The rooms are a bit dated but they have an excellent staff! Upon check in,Taylor was kind and energetic; really made us feel welcomed. On the day of departure, Christopher was exceptional! We didn't find out our flight had been delayed, until we got to the airport, but one quick call to the hotel and Chris told us to come back and we'd get our room back! He certainly turned an almost terrible morning into a much more relaxing day of travel. The lobby is a little more intimately sized but the bartender was fantastic. I didn't get his name but he took command of his full bar with grace. The staff is the real gem here. The location is prime and I can't wait to go back for another visit. I hoped there would be more local flavors near by but with being within walking distance of the Orlando Eye, right off International Drive, it's great if you want to walk along International Drive. The drive to the airport and back is about 15-20 minutes and the drive to Disney was about 25 minutes and it wasn't too bad.

Yelp
I picked this hotel because it had a nice upscale boutique feel and is so different from all the other I drive typicals. The rooms are nice but the amenities are minimal though. They have a pool with bar, a bistro around the outside, a small business room, some inside lounging area and an inside bar. No cafe inside and no gym. We had 2 consistent issues with front desk. They don't appear to check your ID for access or authorizations regarding your room. When I requested a new key to our room, they guy just gave me one. I could have been anyone! Then we have the dnd sign on our door and get room service anyways!!! I was furious! Turns out front desk guy said that I requested it from him earlier. I said really, what did I look like. He said it was an old couple. So obviously those seniors had the wrong room # but..... If someone is requesting room service, housekeeping goes to the door and see a dnd sign, that should be immediately addressed by calling the guest by phone. Then he said he will comp 50% of the entire bill. Upon check out only 1 night is comped. Then he says that's what he meant. When you say entire bill, it literally means all of the charges on that bill. Not 1 charge but all. Entire = all the last time I checked.... I didn't make to big of fuss about it but don't state something and then retract it. Overall this is a very nice place to stay. I did enjoy everything else. Management just needs to be on top of guest safety and security as I think this should be priority.

Yelp
First the good!! I checked in yesterday 1/4/22 and first off the hotel looked very nice! The clerks were all friendly & helpful,Lobby was clean. The BAD: The room TOWER KING WAS NOTHING AS PICTURED AT ALL!! upon check-In I went to use the bathroom after a long drive from North Carolina & found PUBIC HAIRS EVERYWHERE! Then I found a bunch of pieces of Potato chips everywhere, and to TOP IT ALL I pulled back the sheets there was what appeared to be POOP & HAIR. Housekeeping came up & was "somewhat" friendly and changed the sheets. And cleaned some. The front desk said they would come in for a deep clean today 1/5 they made up bed and did vacuum BUT someone pooped in the toilet it stunk to high heaven then saw still PUBIC HAIRS then my daughters feet kept sticking to the laminate flooring. I have PLENTY OF PHOTOS!! This place was NASTY NASTY NASTY!! I DID GET A REFUND WHICH IS GREAT! But I wish it would had been nice but the room was BAD & NOT THE ROOM PICTURED. I got a refund (waiting for credit still) I am very disappointed in MARRIOT I lived in 1 Of their hotels for 3 months while waiting to close on My home in NC this Marriott could take lessons from the one in Mooresville NC. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ROOM GOOD! I Forgot to add the TESLA charging ports had tripped something and I had to walk down a dark hallway with my flashlight on from my phone. I would not recommend EVER!! I GOT FULL REFUND AND RAN AWAY as fast as I can!
