Castle La Crosse Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We found Castle LaCrosse when we decided to explore LaCrosse. |We were greeted by Brandon and made to feel welcomed immediately. The attention to detail at the Castle is fantastic. You can tell a lot of love has been poured into this B & B. |Our accommodations were amazing. The breakfast delicious. We will definitely return. In the meantime we will share our experience with others.

This was a long time awaited visit. It certainly will not be my only visit. What a remarkable property. I have admired this estate since my college days in the late 70's and early 80's. It is very impressive, yet so cozy. Wonderful treasures are tucked away and showcased in every room. Wonderful, attentive hosts, yet non intrusive. A delightful, delicious 3-course breakfast shared with new found friends that we met. They said it was their 5th visit to the castle. So many amenities for every taste. I highly recommend at least one visit to this beautifully maintained and adorned B&B experience. It is so much more than that. A joy to discover wherever you look. History, Art and Architecture fans this is for you. Easy walking to several restaurants, Viterbo or UW-L make this a great location as well.

We loved our stay! The rooms were beautiful and so comfortable. If you need a place to relax and unwind, this is it. The breakfasts were delicious and nicely presented. It's in a beautiful neighborhood if a leisurely walk is what you desire. Totally enjoyed sitting in the different rooms while enjoying, a cup of coffee, glass of wine and reading a book. Especially liked the green room looking out over the garden.

Just spent a night at Castle La Crosse. Perfection! The mansion is immaculately kept and and the amenities are first class. The owner makes you feel right at home and breakfast was delicious. Worth every penny and more.|Perry Olshein

Castle La Crosse exceeded our expectations - even with the preponderance of stellar reviews. The house and its history are beautiful, the rooms super comfortable and intelligently updated while keeping their Gilded Age original features and charm. Billy and Brandon were spectacular hosts, and do not skip Brandon's breakfasts, because they are world class (from someone who has been able to enjoy many Michelin star restaurants around the world).

This was a return visit to stay at the Castle and it did not disappoint! Brandon was a very gracious host with recommendations for activities and restaurants to enjoy in the area. The home is a homage to the past. Just walking the neighborhood is like stepping back in time. We loved reading on the front porch and watch the world go by!

Billy and Brandon were wonderful hosts. Food was excellent. Brandon makes the best croissants!! Rooms were large and very clean. Beds so comfy! Such a great place. The history is incredible too.

We could not be happier with our short trip. Our only complaint is…how we wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was perfect, meticulously prepared for us. The bed and linens were so comfy. The food prepared by Brandon was five star quality. And our host, Billy was approachable and made us feel at home. Please don’t go there. We want it all to ourselves.

Extremely a pleasant experience and delightfully historic. It is an amazing stay. The attention to detail from the host is great. The one item I might suggest is that there is an assumption that all parties preferred to have breakfast separately, when in fact, many seemed to enjoy more of a captains / admirals table where they could meet others and have greater interaction.

Poor invite & closure! Beautiful place & breakfast. Owners not inviting!! I'm hopeful the owners can be more thankful of the amount of money you spend at the Castle!!

This was our second stay at the castle. Billy and Brandon are wonderful hosts with exceptional attention to detail and make every guest feel special and welcome. The property is spectacular and speaks for itself. Clearly a labor of love and dedication to preserving it's natural state of majesty. The breakfast was phenomenal. Brandon is the chef and clearly a culinary master. We will go back time and again. Put this experience on the top of your bucket list!
