Castle Motel Bairnsdale

I was in Bairnsdale for a birthday party. As I was expecting to arrive late at 10.00pm, over the telephone, the owner patiently explained the key system to get into my room . The room itself was very clean and orderly, my sleep sound and undisturbed, welcomed sunshine streaming through at 6.00am, and the shower responsive and hot for the morning preparation for the day. The in-house tea and coffee and kettle facility essential and much-appreciated. An excellent location in the centre of town near a supermarket and cafes, and the railway station. Finally, as my train was due to leave at 12.50pm, the owner allowed me a late-check out scheduled soon before the departure of my train. This was greatly appreciated. I strongly recommend the Castle Motel.

Found this little gem on line in Bairnsdale as car broken down and had unexpected stopover ! Lovely clean quiet room with very comfy bed and little kitchen area, even a toaster . Car took longer than expected and manager let us stay longer than check out time which was most appreciated. Would recommend staying here , has all a traveler needs .

I stopped in here for a night travelling through fishing and I simply cannot fault it. A warm reception, impeccably clean room, a firm comfy bed, great pillow selection, and a smart tv! Honestly, it was comfy, quiet, cheap and it delivered. Thank you

Stayed at Castle Motel over the weekend. The room was spotlessly clean and had recently been refurbished. The location was perfect and quiet. Everything within a few minutes walk. Tarnia, the manager, was so welcoming and awesome to deal with. Thank you!

Rooms are outdated and need a make over. They are clean and location within the town perfect. No room for trailers

Fantastic staff, clean and tidy rooms. I stayed here 2 nights for business and the room had everything I needed. It was clean and tidy with nothing missing. There were multiple power points for laptop and tool charging. The motel isn’t new, but what it lacks in a modern fit out is more than compensated for with exceptional service. The Manager, Bruce, went above and beyond to assist on several occasions - all with a friendly country smile. Fantastic work stop or quick overnighter if you are pushing long kilometres along the Princess Hwy.

The manager was very nice, helpful. We arrived very later but nevertheless we were welcomed into our room. The beds are very comfortable the room was well appointed. Overall great place to stay and value for money.
