Too slow and not kids friendly. We sat at 19.30 and our starter plate came at 21.00! The food and atmosphere is nice but its for taking largely your time, maybe for a romantic dinner, since the kitchen is very very 🐌 slow

A really pleasant experience staying here for a single night with our family if 4. The hotel is really nicely presented with a nod to its history but with comfortable and tasteful furnitures. The food and wine was very good though we had to wait a little while as they were busy in peak season.|Some of the key staff own and operate the hotel, which is why they’re able to maintain a high standard. It’s clear that they have a genuine care for their guests’ experience and a love of hospitality and the beautiful location.||Directly across the road you can hire canoes which was one of the highlights of our 3 week road trip around France. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

We arrived at this hubble and warm hotel, which to know and very important that there are new owners! We where greeted with open arms and took our luggage to the rooms as we where served a nice cold beer in the amazing terrace over looking the riverside! The dinner was spot one like the service and the food, the food was amazing the combination of the ingredients really worked you could taste the kilometers of experience from the chef in the food! Overall it was a great experience and will definitely go back! Thank you again for the great hospitality!

We went to this hotel restaurant for lunch. It's got to be the worst meal I've ever had. The quality of the meat/steak was incredible bad. The rice my wife had was equally very poor. It was also NOT cheap. 4 courses and two drinks €68. The service was equally so slow I thought they had forgotten my order. Stay clear and don't go and use this hotel restaurant. It spoilt the day for me and my wife. The hotel from outside looked wonderful but the food was total rubbish.

Very good meals for fair prices, a nice atmosphere and the host was very attentive. I wish that all restaurants were like this!

Loved our spacious room, the hotel and the restaurant. The Gorges du Tarn take your breath with a fantastic scenery and we only regretted not being able to stay longer for hiking and kayaking. Nice young team is in charge and does an excellent job.

Amazing place. Our room was off one of the turrets which contains an old staircase. Lots of historical features and our room was huge - as was the en-suite. It overlooked the river and it was extremely pleasant to hear the water while drifting off to sleep. I had a steak for my evening meal which was lovely - and the sauce was amazing. My father in law and my husband had the tagliatelle with trout which was tasty - but quite a lot of pasta. The starters were very tasty, indeed. The breakfast was nicely laid out in a wonderful old room with a huge old fireplace. Bread - fruit - yoghurt - pastries - and wonderful home-made preserves were all delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Room good but tea/coffee not replenished every day, though staff did some more when asked. Location to die for. Most staff were really helpful but one was rude. Evening good expensive but good quality and best roast pork I have ever eaten
