Castle

Location is amazing. Great view and very friendly people. The rooms are old castle style, great for immersion but not so much for comfort. Doors don't fit great so need some force to open and close. Sound isolation is not a thing. The shower is very small and takes a long time to get warm. That being said, it's a great atmosphere and very romantic if you can look past those things. The restaurant is classic castle style, extremely nice people with great wine. Mostly meat on the menu and on the price is on the high side

What a cool experience! We arrived in the mist, at the top of the hill to the castle. Our kids were SO EXCITED. The ground are beautiful and they explored every corner. The customer service was lovely. We got to do a pasta making class with their chiefs and we were visited by the older woman who owns the property who came to show us how she could make the tiniest of raviolis. They set up a tour of a local Parmesan cheese factory and balsamic vinegar. Both of the tours were so much better than what we would have found on our own. We ended up leaving after two nights, not to the fault of the castle but because it was a lot to travel to each location we wanted to see. I would not have changed that, the castle was very worth it (and very authentic!!!) I would tell others that you can get the full food valley experience from locations close to the castle. You don't need to travel into the surrounding cities.

Beautifully renovated castle with a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. The spacious premises and large, comfortable rooms make you feel like you’re living in a real castle. Dogs are welcome, the breakfast is great, and the idyllic surroundings are perfect for relaxation. Rooms are large with limited storage area, the overall experience is unforgettable!

Our stay started pretty good, although we noticed pretty quickly that all staff do not have much experience with dealing with guests, looked confused and stressed. Deco of the place is very raw, no warmth, no friendly feeling. Pretty dark rooms with bare stone walls with bad lightening, no decoration of any taste. Things got very bad at dinner - food was just awful . Not only half the menu was not available. Chicken dish was dry, overcooked, vegetables were inedible, overcooked mush with no seasonings. Additionally dinning room is very cold and uninviting with desks made to dinner tables. Things got even worse at breakfast. There was one lady present and she was so rude and disrespectful towards us. Rolling her eyes and getting frustrated when we asked for another coffee. She even shouted at my friend! Same lady did our check out and surprise surprise, seeing overcharges especially for food, food I specifically asked not to have. There are amazing places at the area with some exquisite kitchens and local ladies cooking the storm, this was a disaster. Avoid.

The Castle is in an extremely quiet location and it is surrounded by greenery. The room we stayed in was simply perfect. A warm and cozy room, furnished with fine materials: terracotta floors and ceilings with beautiful exposed beams, a very comfortable and spacious bed. The view from the window was breathtakingly beautiful: we could admire the imposing tower and the landscape of the surrounding valleys. The hotel staff was simply amazing. Both owners and staff were very welcoming, helpful, and there are no words to express our gratitude for what they did by taking care of our little dog during our absence. They were fantastic, loving beyond the imaginable. Extremely positive judgment on the cuisine as well, offering genuine products that reflected the culture and traditions of the area.

The castle itself is magnificent, surrounded by stunning scenery. However, the welcome with a closed gate and a very dangerous road were disappointing! The rooms do not have air conditioning, which made them very hot. Opening the windows didn't bring much relief, as the air outside was also hot and allowed the bugs to come in and bother us all night!!! Lack of furnishings in the room: No armchair, suitcase rack and small fridge. Nothing to put the products in the bathroom. The staff is smiling, professional and very helpful unlike the owners who were indifferent and not at all concerned about our discomfort!!! So for one night… maybe! For a long stay… Never!!!

If you are looking for the perfect getaway in a beautiful location, then this is the place for you!|We spent a couple of nights for a local |wedding we had been invited to. We were really lucky to find this jewel.|Prices are affordable, the location is almost out of this world, never expected such a beautiful quiet and tranquil place, rooms are good size, the bed comfortable, believe or not the water pressure in the shower is powerful (surprisingly since it is so high).|The food is tasty and plentiful, the staff (including the owner) are so friendly, attentive and cordial, that made this place so special. We highly recommend this place. |It is a small road so you need to be careful but it's worth it.|

My husband and I recently stayed for two nights at a this castle. The castle itself is beautiful, surrounded by stunning natural scenery and well maintained gardens. Although we were slightly delayed for check-in, the owner waited for us and warmly welcomed us to our room. However, we found that the rooms lack air conditioning, making them quite hot. Opening the windows provided little relief, as the outside air was also warm and allowed bugs to enter. Additionally, the service for breakfast and dinner was slow. The waiter brought each item separately with long pauses in between, causing us to wait over an hour to receive all our dinner orders.
