Castle Worth

We came without a reservation and manager, Kathrin was more than kind getting us a water fall facing seats . The foods were fresh, elegantly presented and bursting with layers of flavors. Our server Schenk was also friendly, pleasant, and professional. Wheat a treat for both eyes and taste! Thank you!

This is one of the beautiful restaurants with the charming view to the waterfall. I really liked it. All here was fine - nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated restaurant, charming view and delicious dishes. Somehow their rest room looks unpleasant but at least was clean. Prices are definitely not cheap.

Well, next to the Rheinfall! What shall I say about the view? Spectacular! Inside of the restaurant allows a good view to what is happening outside. Very good menu with lots of local food! Service very friendly and attentative English-speaking Really a great evening we had there!

This restaurant is in the best location on the river. The views are stunning. The only problem is the service. So far the worse I’ve had on my trip. The food was good but there were so many flies in the restaurant one got into my food. Lucky I was almost done. The gentleman server didn’t come back to pickup the plates and never asked how it was. It was 20 min from the time they dropped off the food to picking it up. Not once asking how things were. If you charge $$$ , the service should come with it. We were the first people in the restaurant too.

Views were spectacular. Food was fine but seemed overpriced. The 10 CHF surcharge for each person that doesn’t order a main course seems excessive and needless, especially when all of the soups and desserts themselves are over 12 CHF. I get it if a person doesn’t order anything, but if you get a dish over 10 CHF and a drink, this additional fee is very unnecessary.

The food was wonderful This is my second time visiting this place Castle Worth and having a trout which is my favorite. If you never had a trout before I recommend you try it you wouldn't regret having it.

For me this restaurant has the most beautiful view. The food is ok ( been here 4x.celebrated my birthday here this year) .. For me there is always something lacking or sometimes its too salty. The service is good anyways. I'm hope they can do something with the food taste wise.
