Castlebank Hotel

We loved our stay at Castlebank. Henrique was friendly and very helpful with recommendations for what to do and where to eat. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the cooked to order breakfast delicious. We enjoyed visiting with the other guests in the comfy lounge in the evening and the lovely breakfast room in the morning. The location was easily walkable to all Conwy has to offer.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Castlebank hotel. The location is perfect, very central and with free parking. We used Conwy as a base to travel round north wales. Henrique is very friendly and welcoming, gave us lots of advice and tips on where to go and how to get around. The room was comfortable, tea/coffee station and the shower was very good. Breakfast choices were good quality, local produce and made to order. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Castlebank a few times quite a few years ago. Stayed this weekend for our wedding anniversary. Fantastic weekend, Castlebank better than we remembered, would give 6 stars if we could. Jo and Henrique look after their guests brilliantly. We will be back soon.

Just spent a lovely weekend staying at Castlebank hotel. On arrival we were given a lovely welcome and loved our room with a variety of views through different windows (room 9). The owners have definitely thought of everything from lovely toileteries, iron ,ironing board and hairdryer and a fantastic well stocked tea tray. Spotlessly clean and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was a treat with freshly cooked tasty produce with plenty of choice. In a convenient place for Conwy centre and lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed looking at all the artwork and photos which I believe were taken by the host ! Thank you for an enjoyable stay and we highly recommend your lovely hotel .

We had a pleasant stay. We really appreciated your availability and kindness and the breakfast. The Guest House is very welcoming and optimally located. The beds need to be improved because they are small and uncomfortable, including the pillows.

The host was amazing, helped us with our luggage and suggestions/maps for travel. Great breakfast, sensitive to my dairy free needs. Next door to the castle. Town is charming. Parking is adequate, a little challenging to find. Raining on the day we were going to tour the castle and went to Plas Mawr instead which was great.

Had a wonderful stay. The owners and staff go out of their way in looking after their guests. We stayed in Room 5, which had a comfortable King sized bed. Quality and plentiful breakfast. Conwy itself is very picturesque with historical attractions and good selection of amenities. We stayed in June and the room got very light around 4 am, we felt that the room could have benefited from blackout curtains or blind but this didn't affect our stay.

We loved our stay in this comfortable and homely hotel in a lovely Victorian building. The location couldn’t be more convenient with ample parking, The owners are welcoming and helpful, it feels personal and far removed from a chain. The rooms are large and comfortable and ours had great views. It’s a special and unique place, everything is done well and with care and it is very reasonably priced.

What a gem of a B&B. Beautiful comfy rooms and quite nice breakfast and bar area. Location was just perfect just outside the walls. Parking onsite. Henri the proprietor was the best. Showed us to the room and showed us how everything worked, which we had struggled with at other places this trip. Poured us drinks in the evening and chatted with us, offering info and conversation to pass a pleasant evening. Could not think of a single thing that could have been better. Our stay at Castlebank was the highlight of our trip.

The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that the bed could be a bit more comfortable. A little on the hard side. Too bad I can't do 4 and a half stars. Otherwise...breakfast 5 stars...excellent and generous. The WiFi is great. The room is sweet and the view is wonderful of the town and castle. Parking...Yes! Plus there is a large selection of books about Wales in the comfortable salon and a free library for trading books if you find you need a new book to read. Henrique and Jo are wonderful. So easy to communicate with regarding reservations and attentive.

I couldn't have been any more pleased with the amenities of the hotel and the helpfulness and kindness from the owners Henrick and Jo. Great WiFi. Excellent breakfast. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Fantastic views of the castle and town from the rooms. I felt very welcomed here and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
