My wife and I have had a lovely time at this bed & breakfast. So much so that we visited it a second time within a year (from the states). Laura's hospitality is top notch, and the home she keeps is beautiful. The cooked breakfast is a real treat and the value is felt. There's also a pleasant shared space sitting area (pictured). The surrounding area and walking paths behind are also highly recommended, do visit the cemeteries at the top of the hill for some enjoyable walks.

The bed and breakfast is beautiful, really relaxing and incredible views all through. But the best part is definitely the host Laura which was extremely nice with everything. The breakfast was also extremely tasteful. If I come back to Stirling I will stay at the same place

We had a fantastic time at Laura's B&B! It was clean, in a fantastic location, and serene. From the decorative choices, to the guest lounge with cookies and tea, to the homeade bread and breakfasts, you can tell Laura has put an immense amount of thought and care into your stay. It was a short walk to town and the castle making it ideal, and has parking right on site. Could not recommend more!

We had a good stay and Laura had been a good host. The house is very clean and conviently located at a walking distance from city center and castle.|Our room was little but comfortable. |I’m not giving more than 3stars because of breakfast. It is freshly cooked but:|1. you have to decide the night before at what time you are having breakfast to be precise at the 10 minutes and it is something you might not want to do on holiday|2. Bacon, eggs and tomatoes are express cooked for you but no sausage, beans, mushrooms or potatoes are available |3. No home made jams or juice.|For the cost of the staying I was hoping for more.

Castlecroft bed and breakfast is a the best place that I could imagine to stay in Stirling. It is at the base of the mountain (ancient volcano) on which Stirling Castle sits. From the back door, you could walk out to the old path that goes along the jousting field, and then winds the mountain to the castle. You can then follow that same path asked or through the graveyard and down into the old city. Laura is an amazing host. She makes her own bread. I can just imagine that she’s like the ancient baker. She was so courteous and always making sure that our taxis were set because we didn’t have a local calling.

Laura was wonderful. She thinks of everything. The view from the large and comfortable sitting room was amazing. Rooms are well sized and the bed was the best we had on our 3 weeks long tour of the UK. Breakfast was lovely. Laura gave wonderful tips and suggestions. Would absolutely stay here again.

Common lounge area is large, but cozy, with comfortable seating, a place to put your tea/coffee cup, relaxing music and original art work. Room for several small groups to sit spread out or to sit and interact with other guests. The ambiance is such that I would readily book for a weekend and just stay in to read a book, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Rooms with ensuite were super tidy, large and beautifully furnished. An assortment of tea, biscuits (cookies) and treats are provided, as well as a pot of welcome tea upon arrival. Breakfast offered many choices of hot cooked breakfast as well as less filling options such as fruit, cereals and pastries. Path near the house goes into town. Beautiful huge windows in the lounge looks over the countryside--but the truth is you are only a 5 minute walk from town. Love this place!

This is my second stay at Castlecroft. The house is immaculate and has beautiful, calming decor. The rooms are all clean and comfortable and the breakfast is devine. Laura is a fantastic host, nothing is to much trouble and she's very knowledgeable about the area.|Last time I visited was during a snowy winter, this time we were able to enjoy the outside areas and enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the occasional rabbit and squirrel.|Ill be back with the hubby soon 💕

Yelp
Haggis was delicious and locally sourced. We highly recommend this B&B as the location was perfect for exploring the town.

Yelp
What a lovely place to stay! Our hostess, Laura, is wonderful and very nice. And her clean home is in a great location with a beautiful garden and walking paths in the shadow of Stirling Castle. Her abode is very welcoming with nice little touches that set it apart from other B&Bs. We stayed in 6 B&Bs during our visit and Castlecroft was by far our favorite. Such wonderful memories.
