Castlecroft bed and breakfast is a the best place that I could imagine to stay in Stirling. It is at the base of the mountain (ancient volcano) on which Stirling Castle sits. From the back door, you could walk out to the old path that goes along the jousting field, and then winds the mountain to the castle. You can then follow that same path asked or through the graveyard and down into the old city. Laura is an amazing host. She makes her own bread. I can just imagine that she’s like the ancient baker. She was so courteous and always making sure that our taxis were set because we didn’t have a local calling.

Laura was wonderful. She thinks of everything. The view from the large and comfortable sitting room was amazing. Rooms are well sized and the bed was the best we had on our 3 weeks long tour of the UK. Breakfast was lovely. Laura gave wonderful tips and suggestions. Would absolutely stay here again.

This is my second stay at Castlecroft. The house is immaculate and has beautiful, calming decor. The rooms are all clean and comfortable and the breakfast is devine. Laura is a fantastic host, nothing is to much trouble and she's very knowledgeable about the area.|Last time I visited was during a snowy winter, this time we were able to enjoy the outside areas and enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the occasional rabbit and squirrel.|Ill be back with the hubby soon 💕

What a lovely place to stay and explore Stirling. The views are out of this world, and you're tucked away at the foot of Stirling Castle. Laura, the host was incredibly friendly and made our stay so enjoyable and relaxed. She knew what was going on in town and had information readily to hand for guests to decide where they wanted to go for entertainment at night. The breakfast the following morning was absolutely superb. We will definitely return again in the summer.

Our stay at the Castlecroft B&B has undoubtedly be one of the best B&B experiences so far. This B&B is beautifully situated, with amazing views from both the lounge and the room itself. In the beautifully decorated rooms (with lots of art), everything has been thought of. This B&B is also on a walkable distance to the beautiful centre of Stirling and the service has been absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this wicked retreat to everyone who visits Stirling and/or its surroundings!

Castlecroft B&B was excellent. Laura was extremely gracious and an excellent host. The location is amazing right below Stirling Castle, within walking distance. The town nearby is within an easy walking distance if you're looking for some food and drink in the evening or perhaps before visiting the castle. ||We had an early flight departure the next morning so unfortunately didn't get to experience breakfast, but Laura was kind enough to pack us to-go breakfast bags the evening before to provide us a little something. She was very thoughtful to do so and it was greatly appreciated. ||I would definitely stay here in the future if visiting the Stirling area. There is plenty of sights to see nearby and loved Laura's B&B.

This B&B was absolutely beautiful from the main sitting area to the rooms, exterior and view of the town and mountains outside the picture window. It was a perfect location at the base of the Stirling Castle. I had originally decided to walk but due to icy conditions in the morning we drove to the castle. Laura was a great host and her breakfast and homemade bread was super yummy! I would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again on another trip to Scotland!

Yelp
What a lovely place to stay! Our hostess, Laura, is wonderful and very nice. And her clean home is in a great location with a beautiful garden and walking paths in the shadow of Stirling Castle. Her abode is very welcoming with nice little touches that set it apart from other B&Bs.
We stayed in 6 B&Bs during our visit and Castlecroft was by far our favorite. Such wonderful memories.
