"Castroni is the largest of a family-run local chain of historic emporia selling dry goods, coffee, and gourmet foods. This is where Romans come for their speciality items, from hard-to-find American, Japanese, and British products to traditional and small-batch Italian cookies. There's an incredible selection of pricey caviar, but for something a bit more budget conscious, the front counter has a selection of by-the-kilo traditional Italian candies, from licorice to sugary confections." - Erica Firpo
This is another outlet at Rome, smaller compare to the one near Vatican. Price in there a bit higher compare to carrefour express for same item, but inside got other more higher quality items.
Bought dry tomatoes 7.5 euro and 2 types of egg noodles 3.5 euro each.

Stumbled on this shop whilst heading towards the Spanish Steps. Prior to visiting this shop I had been looking all over for sundried tomatoes; finally found them here. So pleased. Didn’t find any major fault with the shop staff.

Amazing store with a wide variety of international and local foods. A little on the pricier side- some items - but great to bring home a taste of Rome.
