Casual Gurea

The location is fabulous, clean rooms and bathroom, with daily housekeeping. We had a triple room, which also had a small balcony overlooking the busy street. Only the cool keypad was not 100 percent working through the status as we got locked out with other residents on New year's Eve. Then someone came to open with a master key code. Otherwise the stay was really great.

Basic but comfy and clean rooms with attentive service from cleaning staff. Reception is open 24 hours and friendly and helpful. Easy to get into room with code for main door as well. No free water. No fridge but location in the centres of old town meant it is easy to buy whatever is needed.

This hotel is a great place to stay in the centre Bilbao. It is not luxurious and the facilities are limited (no swimming pool or bar for example), but what it offers it does well. Staff great. Rooms clean. Location right in the heart of the old town. Extras like small lounge/eating area where there is a fridge, freezer and microwave are really useful for an independent traveller.

The first time I entered the room it smelled as if it has just been cleaned. Well - that smell of cleanliness was there all the 5 days I spent there. |Apart from being so clean, the hotel is in a great location in the historic town of Bilbao - close to tram, the underground, the bus... However, I preferred walking. |The staff are great, helpful and relaxed, their English is great. |So, if you need reasonably priced accommodation in Bilbao, this is a hotel to book. |And yes there is a room which serves as both a dining room and a living room - if you want to prepare your own breakfast - there is a microwave, fridge, the cutlery and plates which you can use. And there is a vending machine. |Great!!!

Nice hotel in the old city, a little noisey. All the sites in Bilbao are walkable from the hotel. New years eve was very quiet, almost no fireworks. Nice and friendly personel. I enjoyed my stay!

I accidentally booked my flight home on the wrong day so I wanted a reasonably priced hotel for one night. The location was amazing! Right in the heart of the Casco Antiguo just steps from the Cathedral of Santiago. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, and shops, I was able to explore as much as I wanted on foot, never too far from the hotel. The staff was so helpful, from recommending places to eat to storing my luggage for free, and even ringing a taxi for me! My room was clean, quiet, and more than adequate for my needs. I would most definitely go back again.

I spent 5 days in this hotel. It is in a great location, close to public transportation, but phenomenal for going anywhere on foot. The room and the bathroom is very clean and the water pressure in the shower is the best of all the hotels I've been to. 🙃 The staff are friendly and informative. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Great location for exploring Bilbao on foot. Easy check in and 24 hour access. Nice comfortable, quiet and clean room. Helpful and friendly staff. I couldn’t ask for more.
