Loved the airy, cheerful ambience. Warm, industrial feel. Service was pleasant. You order at the counter and food is delivered to your table. The latte and cappuccino were pretty good. The hummus platter was very good, with what appeared to be home-made hummus served with diced cucumbers and tomatoes. Though pricy for the quantity. The egg offerings, unfortunately, were a real disappointment. Super salty, leathery sausage, salty hash brown casserole and meh omelette served plainly in a tin tray. Note lines are long and parking is tight during peak times. Though wait a bit and a spot will open up.

Today was the first time here for me and I came with my best friend to celebrate her birthday. It’s such a cute atmosphere and had many options to choose from. We ordered & sat down, the food was ready right away! We were both blown away to how amazing and delicious both of our meals were. We kept sharing food with one another. The bread that was offered was also absolutely delicious! Everything was top quality and we had such a wonderful time. Thank you so much! I already can’t wait to come back and try more! And did I also mention super affordable!!!

Wow! The food here is insanely good. The fried chicken sandwich is to die for. The free bread pudding was so delicious. You will not be disappointed.

Super cute place. They were incredibly understanding when my daughter inquired about her dietary restrictions. I had a brie. bacon and apricot preserve sandwich and it was amazing. My daughter had a strawberry salad with chicken and A strawberry Matcha, that she said was delicious. The cookies and desserts looked amazing, but we were too full to have any. The only drawback of this place is that once it gets busy parking can be a pain, but otherwise five out of five. I will definitely be back!

The members of my intercessory prayer team has our monthly meeting here today. We say at the bar counter because it was super busy. We were able to move to a table outside for the meeting but everything was wonderful. The food was great, service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing with life.

I wish I lived in Daytona so I could regularly get their food. The food was amazing with me having a “Turkey Melt” and my friend having the some Chicken and Waffle meal. The staff is very nice with them actually shipping something to my house due to me losing it which I very much appreciated. This shows that the staff cares about their customers and made me warm hearted they did. The space is very clean and intimate since it is relatively small.

When there with the wife, we really enjoyed the overall feel. I loved my chicken sandwich and hashbrown casserole, and my wife loved my food too. She ordered the egg sandwich and it was good but could use a little spice for our liking we’d probably ask for tabasco for the sandwich next time.

Such a cute, quaint breakfast spot! Service was quick and the food was delicious. The Avocado toast is a must have & the banana chai was yummy!! The French toast was good and orange honey butter was interesting spin, but probably not my favorite on top. My only complaint about the Avocado toast is that I asked for a crispy (non runny) fried egg and it was a little runny. It was not enough to ruin the taste. I loved the combination of cilantro, balsamic glaze and cream cheese.

This was our first visit to the area and we noticed there weren't too many modern of fresh food restaurants so we were excited for this option. Food was really good. The banana chai latte was great!

The vibes in this place were amazing, truly a diamond in the rough. the vibes were so different from the usual daytona beach. also the ice cream truck in the front is a great touch. Try the beachside avocado (don't even like avocado but loved this) and the fried honey chicken sandwich with their mocha latte. great choices, prices reasonable just great atmosphere. Service was pretty good as well, you find your own seating and order at the counter. but they do bring your food out to you. limited seating choices for outside. Saturday morning was extremely busy. definitely a locals favorite spot.

Stopped by here for a quick trip yesterday after taking a little trip with the kids to a local museum and lighthouse. We were STARVING and I saw this spot had some great reviews and you had me also at chai banana latte. My fav!! It was FANTASTIC by the way! I ended up getting the brie and apricot grilled cheese and my kids split a kids chicken fingers meal. All of it was just fantastic. I love that M-F they offer free break pudding until it's gone. That was so cute to see. The people that work there are so kind and helpful and answered the phone promptly when I had questions. Wish we lived closer so we could come back more often.

This place came highly recommended by my little cousin who lives in Daytona Beach...and rightfully so. His father talked about that dish from the time we got to the airport to the time we parked at the restaurant. What I had: CHICKEN & FRENCH TOAST w/fresh sliced strawberries - Just as good as they said it was. The French toast was so good I didn't even use syrup (I did spread a little apricot and strawberry jam which was delicious!). HASH BROWN CASSEROLE [not pictured] - Cheese, flavor, and more cheese! Strawberry French toast- reminded me of my when my father baked fresh cakes with strawberry icing. Thank you for the memory. We also got an open faced sandwich with egg, basil, tomato, yummy, yummy, yummy... a regular recommended it. I also got a banana iced drink- it blew my mind. There was banana in it. Mm mm mm. The service was good, the place was so cute (inside and outside. We sat by the window and chatted.

The food here was good. I come here more for the ambiance and the friendly service. The banana bread chai was delicious though!

My experience was stellar! Hubby decided to take me here... He had already visited casualbird once and truly enjoyed it. So, he wanted me to try it too. I'm very glad he brought me! We were able to park in the lot. As I stood in the parking lot, I noticed a beautiful mural on the side of the building and several tables on an outdoor patio. Although the weather was nice, we opted to sit inside. Inside, the vibe was comfy, chic, and peaceful. We stood in a line and waited to place our order. Menus were available in a bin on the wall. I really enjoyed the variety on the menu. There's definitely something for everyone, including poke and acai bowls. I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Hubby had a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Both sandwiches were well made with fresh ingredients. We also ordered coffee beverages. To all my coffee lovers.... Great coffee!!! Also, delicious looking pastries are available! We were then given a number to place on top of our chosen table, which we picked out. Our meals were brought to us with friendly service. This restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, generally closing at 3pm. Be sure to check it out. And if you do, ask for a loyalty card. After a number of punches, you'll receive a one-time discount of a certain percentage of your next order

I am a lover of French toast and the first thing that I do and how I decide whether or not French toast is delicious as if I can eat it without syrup. I like to taste all of the flavors of a good French toast batter, and this French toast was delicious as was the orange zest butter that was included with it. Also, with my meal, I got the fried chicken tenders. They were perfect, perfectly seasoned. The meat was not dry (which can happen with breast) and they were cooked to perfection as well. I did a to go order because I had to go to work. However, I did go inside to pick up my order. Everyone greeted me as soon as I came in. The restaurant was very clean and my order was accurate. I would love to come back and try other things on the menu as well.

This place truly was 100/10 experience! The restaurant itself is really pretty! Great atmosphere and there is both indoor/outdoor seating. The style is you order at the front, take a number and then they bring it out to you. The food is SPECTACULAR! Every single person in our party left raving about the food! I ordered the shores club grilled and it was amazing! The Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place!

Food was excellent no had the BLT melt and really loved it. My nephew had the fried chicken sandwich, which he raved about. I was disappointed they don't have fries, but hash browns were awesome. Small and cute inside.

I ordered sunny side up eggs, hashbrowns, and grilled chicken. My brother ordered scrambled eggs, sweet potatoes, and grilled chicken. For drinks, I got the banana latte tea and he got strawberry matcha latte. They got complimentary jams and other stuff. I have to give them a five star for good quality, quick service, and nice place setup.

The coffee is from Island Roasters. Their extensive breakfast and lunch food is fresh and delicious. My sister said her açaí bowl was one of the best she's ever had. The close proximity to the beach is a plus. After 11AM, they serve complimentary bread pudding with jam until it runs out. The only drawback is their outdoor seating is too close to the exhaust and noise of Dunlawton.

Fun place to stop in and have breakfast. We enjoyed French toast and eggs with bacon on the patio. The caramel lattes were yummy and the overall service was quick. Loved the vibe of the entire business.

Stuck to the basics as this was my first time trying breakfast here, I ordered a shot of Espresso and Classic Breakfast Sandwich. (I asked for crispy bacon which is why it is so dark in the picture, I promise it was not burnt lol- it was exactly as asked for) I got the Sourdough bread on my order which was delicious... soft and fluffy just like the eggs on the sandwich. Apparently the bread is not made in house, which I wouldn't have known without asking because it was certainly fresh... The ladies told me it is sent in from another family owned bakery. The restaurant itself is absolutely adorable, and well decorated. Though the inside looks small, it is very welcoming and well designed. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. This is a locally owned restaurant & well worth supporting.

Absolute awesome. I LOVE the service, they were so kind and welcoming. The ambiance is really cool, relaxed and comfortable with plants and wooden tables and chairs with easy lighting, I didn't get anything but a coffee so I'm not sure about the food, but my coffee was delicious. I absolutely recommend

This breakfast/lunch eatery is a busy place on a Saturday! I met a couple of friends for breakfast, very cute ambiance. You order in line first then they bring it to your table! There is indoor and outside eating. Small parking lot but we parked down the street and walked there! We ordered the casual chicken sandwich which my friend said was really juicy, she thought the casserole was really cheesy! I got the açaí bowl and the coconut and fruit combination hit the spot! I can't resist a sweet potato casserole and this one was fluffy, not heavy and had the right amount of sweet! The chai banana coffee could've had more flavor in my opinion, I did not taste the banana! I would eat here again!

The food here is really tasty. Is close to the beach. Is really popular on Sundays. Their staff is really nice and helpful. They have great customer service. Is really cute and modern.

I have been walking past casual bird since before it opened, but it's taken me until today to finally try it. Consider me a fan! I had the fried casual chicken sandwich with a side of hash brown casserole. It was perfect. My son had the hummus veggie sandwich and he enjoyed it, as did friends who had the grilled chicken club. You have to order at the counter and then your food is brought to your table. I'll definitely be back. Once again, I forgot to take a picture. Grrrrr!

Mouth-watering good and the most friendly employees. We called in an order over the phone while on the beach for our group and Hannah assisted with our order and was so sweet. We had a gluten free chicken sandwich, two friend chicken sandwiches, and açaí bowl, and an order of gluten free cookies. The sandwiches were MASSIVE and the chicken was well seasoned and still hot after pick up and arriving back to the beach. Sandwiches can leave me wanting more on GF bread but this sandwich was so filling. The cookies are the best GF cookies I have ever had; crispy outside and gooey inside with a buttery,molassesy and cinnamony flavor. I highly recommend dining here. Next time we are in town we will definitely be back!

Had brunch here our first morning in Daytona. Food was great and coffee even better. Came back a few times throughout the week for more coffee. Service here is great and the cafe is cute and clean!

Delicious salads & sandwiches in a cute space. Staff was very accommodating & kind. Highly recommend. Then go next door and get Mimi's ice cream from the blue ice cream truck. :)

Super delicious. Would 100% come back. Got the acai bowl, danish bagel, and surf avocado toast. Came out fast and the service was very friendly.

Well decorated and outdoor seating available. You order before sitting down. The employees are very helpful. Drinks were average, but the food was good! The turkey melt was really good. We got the small surf and big surf as well which were as expected. The hashbrown casserole has a lot of cheese in it, so you'd like it if you want to eat mac and cheese for breakfast lol- not my favorite side though.

We really enjoyed the food at casualbird. It is most definitely a casual restaurant with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. I was impressed by the variety of drink options, as well, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We enjoyed the acai bowl (& peanut butter +$2) and the fried chicken. With the fried chicken we had the collard greens (a little salty) and the hashbrown casserole which was SO GOOD OH MY GOSH!!! The service is quick- order at the register and the food is brought out to you. Great spot.

As a new local this cute bistro and coffee shop reminds me of home and the food is always delicious and fresh!! Definitely a must when in south Daytona! The service and staff are always helpful and friendly!!

Adorable local cafe with a solid amount of seating available. My oat milk latte was reasonably priced for being a local spot and was made very quickly! This would be a great place to study or work.

Casual Bird was just what we needed for our party of 4. It was breakfast time and I was excited to try my 1st açaí bowl. It had PB, coconut , some nuts & berries. My husband and my friend's husband had eggs & bacon. My girlfriend had a pastry. I loved my açaí bowl and my green tea was full bodies and not weak.

Loved this place. Great atmosphere. It is not a good place for a large party. Sit on the patio and enjoy the day.

Atmosphere - modern. The restaurant is small (perhaps 10 tables inside and on a small patio), but has a nice vibe. Service - Very good. Food is ordered and paid for at the counter. We were greeted warmly and the food was delivered in a very reasonable timeframe. Food - Very Good. I had the French Toast and Fried Chicken. The food was served hot and tasted great. The only slight disappointment was that the chicken was tender but a bit on the dry side Overall Value - Very Good. The price is reasonable and the food very good.

This place had so many good Yelp reviews that I just had to stop while visiting the area. The outside is very cute, with a small parking lot. There are a few tables outside to enjoy your food. Once inside, you take a menu and make your choices and order at the register. They give you a number and bring you your food. The menu had a great variety of things and I settled on a Club Sandwich with the Sweet Potato Casserole as my side. The tables inside are bright and cheery and everything was clean. We weren't seated very long when our food arrived. My sandwich was large and looked great. I dug right into the casserole as I knew it was hot and I wanted it that way. It was very good. My sandwich was served on fresh bread, with lots of ingredients. Everything was very good. There was a sign that said they had self serve free bread pudding while it lasted after 11 am. I was so full that I couldn't try it, but it looked good. My only gripe is the acoustics. There were lots of people and it was very loud so it was hard for us to carry on a conversation. Since everything is wood, there is nothing to soften the sounds.

What a wonderful little breakfast spot! We were only in town for two days and ate here twice! The food was wonderful, fresh and large portions - don't miss the hash brown casserole it was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here for a quick lunch after a slow day of fishing. It's a very chic and well decorated cafe with a weird entrance - the parking lot is only accessible on the westbound lanes of Dunlawton. I opted for the pressed turkey melt which was very good. The sweet potato casserole was recommended to me by the staff and I happily obliged. I must say the best thing I had was that casserole. It was piping hot and deliciously sweet. Definitely will come back!

We did not want to go to a tourist spot and stumbled upon this place. Ordered the turkey sprout sandwich and French toast. Super yummy. Super fast. Super cute spot. There was a barista truck outside as well. Looked pretty good.

This is the cutest little cafe!! The food was amazing and everything about it made me happy. The service was quick and friendly. The food was unique and delicious - truly. We tried the Farm Club with sweet potato casserole and the Fried Chicken with French Toast. The orange butter that comes with the French toast is next level, and the bacon on the club was cooked to perfection. My mimosa was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. If you're here at 11am, be sure to grab your free bread pudding (while supplies last). They also have a patio with cute striped umbrellas. Definitely check this one out!!

The ladies were so nice, vibrant, and kind. I got the banana chai, and WOW. I am a huge coffee drinker but I can't drink it currently, so to see a unique and delicious beverage WITHOUT coffee in it was a game changer!! I'm totally obsessed with it and will be getting it the rest of my trip here. Thanks for having the banana chai on the menu! ALSO! Their coffee cakes are the size of my entire hand. I didn't get one yet, but it looks amazing.

The chicken sandwiches are SO GOOD! We came here for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Each of us ordered a fried chicken sandwich. The portions are very large and the chicken comes out nice and crispy. My only complaint is the lack of space. There is limited seating in the restaurant and people were taking forever to order which meant that half the interior was taken up with people waiting to place their order. Would love to see some other kind of ordering set up put in place.

House salad with grilled chicken was 10/10. Found plenty of parking next door at the veterinary hospital. Food truck outside was also available for homemade ice cream and cookies. Staff very friendly . Also offer alcohol options

This place just recently opened less than a year ago I believe. It's literally a stones throw from the beach access off dunlawton. Everytime I drove by it, it was always and I mean ALWAYS packed to the gill, and I've always wanted to stop but just either never had time or had a Dory moment. Soooo I finally tried and OMG I'm in love! There is outdoor seating (which is 100% Dogg friendly they even have water bowls out for them, and, there is also inside dinning, the aesthetic kinda reminds me of barn but shrubbery if that makes sense. There is regular tables, booths and bar type seating near the window. There offer complementary wifi, which was really good wifi actually! So we went and ordered our food. There was SOOOO many choices it was hard to chose. I ended up settling with their hummus as a light snack and for my main meal a grilled house salad with ranch. And to drink I got their Mimosa. The hummus plate was actually big portions! In the hummus was cut up tomatoes and cucumber , and 6 or 7 slices of pita bread. I have to say this hummus was not bad at all, the flavors were perfect and spot on! The house grilled chicken salad with ranch, Jesus it was HUGE, probably the biggest salad I've ever had. In my salad it came with spring mix, tomatoes , cucumber , red onion and fire grilled chicken. The chicken was so juciy and not dry at all, whatever seasoning they used paired perfect with it all! The ranch dressing was also good and creamy! My mimosa, I usually don't like them but here it was absolutely delicious. Everyday they have bottomless bubbles for $18 dollars. I know what I'm doing this weekend. Idk what type of champagne they used but it was perfect! The wifi was great! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. So stay tuned!!

This place was adorable!! The employees were all very friendly and welcoming! The food was all super good and very fresh. And the banana chia latte was amazing! It tasted exactly like banana bread! I would happily come here again

This place was a great mix between coffee shop + breakfast joint. We got the açaí bowl and bacon egg and cheese everything bagel. The açaí was good but a bit hard to get to the açaí since the bowl was a bit small for everything in it. Still great tho. The bagel seemed to be microwaved not toasted so it was a bit chewy but still ate that up. The place was clean and the people working today were friendly! The drip coffee was also good :) would come back again!

I ordered the veggie sandwich and a vanilla ice latte. The sandwich was delicious. They have lots of options here. The ice coffee was perfect. Not too sweet, but a subtle hint of flavor. I will be coming back.

We returned to the casual bird, and this time, we tried their food! The store is so cute and the staff are wonderful. To eat, I got the Hey Honey chicken sandwich, a fried tender sandwich with orange hot honey, a pickle spear, and a side of chips. To drink, I got an amazing iced vanilla latte. The chicken was so tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The hot honey was delicious and elevated the tenders. The bun was good. Altogether, one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time! My mom and sister both got the avocado toast, one with a fried egg. The toast had avocado, tomato, balsamic vinegar, and burrata cheese. Both were delicious. The food was incredible and I'm always impressed with their coffee quality. Definitely my favorite cafe in Daytona!

I got the French toast, which came with an orange honey butter, which was very unique and surprisingly very good. My wife got an egg and bacon sandwich, which was also very good. We'll try lunch food next time.

Our family had a quick staycation in Daytona Beach and while searching for a nearby Starbucks we accidentally came across Casual Bird and saw how cute it was from the outside, so we looked it up to find out that it was a brunch spot, which is exactly what we needed. After noticing 4.7 starts on Yelp and lots of other yummy food photos we knew we had to come try it out! From the outside I thought it was much bigger then it actually is but the ambience is comfortable and cozy inside and out. It's more of a quick service where you place your order at the register so don't expect a full sit down. However, they will bring you your food after you order. I was starving so we got the dipping board as an appetizer which was perfect to split between the three of us. Fresh strawberries, bananas and a sweet dip that was refreshing and light before our mains. My husband got the French toast and fried chicken and loved the challa bread used which was soft, had the right amount of cinnamon and of course sprinkled with powdered sugar topped with a couple of strawberries for added garnishment and flavor. The fried chicken is boneless, well seasoned, juicy and crispy. The perfect savory to match the sweet French toast. My daughter and I both had the breakfast sandwich which was on challa toast, cheddar cheese, scrambled egg and we both chose bacon however you can choose sausage as well. We highly recommend to fill up at the casual bird before your day at the beach which is an easy 2 min drive away from the drive on access and can't wait to eat here again this summer!o

Really lovely place. The staff is awesome. The coffee is good and strong and they have a nice menu. We just got some pastries which were good and then noticed they had some complementary bread pudding which was very yummy.
