The Catalina Park Inn reminds me why I prefer a bed and breakfast when traveling. I was not returning to my anonymous hotel each night, I was coming home. I was greeted each morning with the perfect cup of coffee (three cups in fact), a creative, delicious breakfast, and a witty, intelligent conversation with two new friends, my hosts, Mark and Paul. They have a beautiful house, well located near the University and downtown, which has every comfort and a relaxed family feeling. When my wife and I left the Catalina Park Inn, we actually felt like we were leaving family, the good kind of family, the ones you miss. We can't imagine staying anywhere else on our return to Tucson.
