Catania Crossing Rooms e Comforts

This is the worst place i have ever stayed. He allow us to stay until 12:00 but he left all luggaes before we leave. I will add comments after owner’s response. As you can see in the message he Said we can leave untill 12:00. In case we are late he has no rights to leave all our personal belongings out of the room. He has my number and he could write to inform us. Furthermore he does not speak any Word of English and it was hard to understand. There is a bazaar in front of the building and we had to sleep early because of the noise come from the street.

The room was spacious and cosy. However, the owner was completely irresponsible and unhelpful when issues related to the property arose. During cleaning, the housekeeper likely threw away my friend's pills. When we informed the owner, he began searching the trash (as if something usable could be found there), and when he didn’t locate them, he acted as if I wasn't speaking to him, totally ingoring me and not understanding English! His behavior was utterly rude and unhelpful. When we threatened to contact Expedia, he suddenly offered to buy the pills and told us to wait in the room. We waited in the room for an hour and a half until I called him, only to discover he had no intention of purchasing the pills. Instead, he was in town taking care of his own business. My friend needed to take the pills within a specific timeframe, and the owner didn't consider it important to inform us that he was not actually getting them as promised, leaving us waiting in the room. Eventually, while he agreed to pay for the pills (which is the right thing to do when items go missing on your property), he refused to pay more than what they cost in our home country. This is unacceptable because we wouldn’t have incurred these expenses if the housekeeper hadn’t thrown them away in the first place. His behavior was unacceptable for someone in the hospitality industry and outrageous! Proper guest care is essential to ensure a pleasant stay. Avoid this place if you don't want to spoil your holidays!

Great accommodation, and very central indeed. The room was very spacious and clean, with new furniture and all comforts. The person at the reception, Alessandro, was very friendly and helpful. We had a voucher for breakfast in a nearby cafe with good cappuccino and croissants. Via Teocrito is very close to the city centre. We went for a walk after 11pm and managed to find a place for dinner minutes away from our accommodation. We had rented a car, so we did not need transport, but there was a direct bus to the airport stopping very near Catania Crossing B&B.

Very near to center. We arrived pretty early around 10:30 and luckily we could check in without being charged an extra fee. The rooms are pretty and have enough space. Alexandra and Alessandro have been very helpful. The breakfast is served about 50 m across the street in a lovely café. It is really worth a try. Weekdays is a market where you can find everything but you do not hear something. Everything perfect.

My girlfriend and I were supposed to stay here about a year ago. We booked a room using booking.com, which was no problem at all. However, the flight got delayed which meant we would arrive later in the evening. We contacted the B&B on time so they knew when to expect us. An extra fee was charged for late check in, which kept increasing as the the flight got further and further delayed. Such a fee was not mentioned anywhere on their website, especially the rate they charged. Granted, they do mention that they do not have a 24-hours reception desk. The flight got delayed even longer, and in the end, we were told we could not check inn at all because of the time of our arrival. They cancelled our booking. So no hotel for our first night in Sicily. What a way to start your holiday. An unfortunate series of events. Which would not be so infuriating if the customer service would have been reasonable. However, the manager was not willing to refund our booking, and even a partial refund was not possible. The way this was handled is just infuriating. Even booking.com thought this was unacceptable, yet they could not help us. Why am I writing this 1 year later? Because the hotel had the guts to mark my girlfriend's review as fake, because we never arrived. That is the entire point of her review! So they delever poor service, and do not accept any feedback. 1 star, until I get a proper response and refund.

Don't be afraid with the street and the entrance of the building. The room and bathroom is clean with new furniture. The bed is large and comfortable. The staff was so gentle and polite. The localization is perfect, near a lot of restaurants and stores. I was with 2 friends for a holiday and we didn't have problem with security. I strongly recommend.
