Catanzarro - an Italian Bistro

Very nice vibe inside, like you traveled somewhere else. The inside and outside is marvelous and the food is definitely the highlight! Some of the waiters were incredibly dismissive which ruined the entire experience, but not all of them. Some are sweet and some are welcoming but the ones that forgot where we were or what we want definitely ruined the experience. Regardless, it does not change the fact that the food was absolutely delicious and filling.

We have been coming to Catanzaro in Marrakech for years, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Mehdi and his team set the standard for professionalism, hospitality, and warmth. A special mention must go to Abdou – nothing is ever too much trouble for him. His knowledge of the cuisine, attentive service, and his exceptional Limoncello Spritz make every visit a delight. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed with genuine care and treated as a valued guest. The food is always freshly prepared, full of authentic flavors, and consistently mouthwatering. With the abundance of restaurants available in Marrakech, Catanzaro is always our go-to place. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, it never fails to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Truly one of Marrakech’s gems – highly recommended!

Authentic Italian cuisine with a really nice, relaxed environment in the restaurant. We ordered the salmon spinach lasagne and the fish of the day with veggies and sauce and they were both delicious! The lasagne was toooooo good, creamy, salty and delicious! The portions were pretty good, and the olives with the bread (for free) were fresh and well seasoned!

Great service and food, I had pasta with gammon , mushroom in cream sause lovely.

The place feels truly authentic, both in its atmosphere and its food. The dishes were full of flavor and prepared with care. Best lasagna I’ve ever tasted and the fondant au chocolat is a pure delishh

Random find as we were looking for a place to have lunch. Lovely atmosphere, not too many people and the AC felt great after coming from the heat. Food was delicious and portions are very sizeable, we took a to go box with us with leftovers. Big plus is that it’s also reasonably priced and service was great. Definitely would recommend.

Loved this place! Stumbled in for lunch and came back for dinner since we enjoyed it a lot. Pizzas and pastas definitely amazing. For the beef, it was a bit smelly honestly but still very tasty and juicy, overall worth to try.Definitely recommended.

The restaurant has a nice interior with a lot of space. The service is professional and friendly. The pizza was not great. The dough did not have enough time to rise and tested really plane. The tomato sauce was too sweet. On the other hand, the crème brûlée and bruschetta were excellent, one of the best I have tasted.
