Catanzarro - an Italian Bistro

Very nice vibe inside, like you traveled somewhere else. The inside and outside is marvelous and the food is definitely the highlight! Some of the waiters were incredibly dismissive which ruined the entire experience, but not all of them. Some are sweet and some are welcoming but the ones that forgot where we were or what we want definitely ruined the experience. Regardless, it does not change the fact that the food was absolutely delicious and filling.

We were all feeling a little tajine fatigue syndrome (TFS) and Italian was a great idea. Amazing staff and a wonderful proprietor served us a delicious meal in a very nice atmosphere.

We have been coming to Catanzaro in Marrakech for years, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Mehdi and his team set the standard for professionalism, hospitality, and warmth. A special mention must go to Abdou – nothing is ever too much trouble for him. His knowledge of the cuisine, attentive service, and his exceptional Limoncello Spritz make every visit a delight. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed with genuine care and treated as a valued guest. The food is always freshly prepared, full of authentic flavors, and consistently mouthwatering. With the abundance of restaurants available in Marrakech, Catanzaro is always our go-to place. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, it never fails to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Truly one of Marrakech’s gems – highly recommended!

EDIT: I gave it anither chance, and am glad i did, the person i was spwakong of below and befor the owners responded was there and had a better attiude but the pozza was amazing - very lovely, had a nice appertif and 6 beers or so and a lovely time with great atmosphere and the waiters whi did serve me were great. Old: The host/waitwr at the desk to the left side when walking in with glasses and beard was dismissive and rude, I was dressed decent and polite, just walked out - if you dont respect people or their money whether you're an owner or host/waiter, you dont need to get business from customers?

Random find as we were looking for a place to have lunch. Lovely atmosphere, not too many people and the AC felt great after coming from the heat. Food was delicious and portions are very sizeable, we took a to go box with us with leftovers. Big plus is that it’s also reasonably priced and service was great. Definitely would recommend.

Authentic Italian cuisine with a really nice, relaxed environment in the restaurant. We ordered the salmon spinach lasagne and the fish of the day with veggies and sauce and they were both delicious! The lasagne was toooooo good, creamy, salty and delicious! The portions were pretty good, and the olives with the bread (for free) were fresh and well seasoned!

Amazing place! It truly captures the Italian spirit with its impeccable atmosphere and succulent dishes. We tried the pizza Royale, it was very delicious, the pasta with creme and ham was excellent as well. The desserts, usually a sore point for most restaurants were, at this restaurant without a doubt one of the best I have ever tried. They cracked the code for the perfect Fondant au Chocolat as well as the Creme Brûlée truly chef’s kiss Will certainly be back next time I’m in town

Great service and food, I had pasta with gammon , mushroom in cream sause lovely.
