Catedral Basílica de la Inmaculada Concepción

A great way to spend an afternoon. The cathedral was pretty awesome. There is no admission charge but you can make a donation if you want. It's very close to the plaza, so you can check out the street vendors, shops and restaurants. Make sure to take small bills. One of the small street vendors wasn't able to make change for a $20 bill on a $3 purchase, not even in pesos.

Gorgeous historical monument of Christianity. The area is a mecca of middle size old time neighborhood. Always full of folks except at night. Lots of atmosphere. The square is full of wonderful little areas that needs exploring.

Wonderful Catholic Church. The architecture is quite unique and intricate. Our tour bus came here for a 20 minute stop. Remember to take your hat off while visiting to show your respect.

Beautiful church! We were on cruise and Mazatlan was one of our port stops. We followed the blue road to this church. The self guided tour was excellent.

Well ..... 10,000+ great reviews can't be wrong. Very impressive, old, large cathedral. Really busy neighborhood, everybody is selling everything .... :) The artwork inside is beautiful. Well worth a visit.
