Catedral de Puebla

One of the most amazing, beautiful interiors of a church I've ever seen. The gold gates, the unbelievable altar, just beautiful.

This is a gorgeous colonial church with many beautiful paintings and statues both inside and outside. It is massive, like the ones you can find in Europe. I was fortunate to witness the conclusion of a mass where an elderly couple was renewing their vows. A restaurant across the street offers lovely views of the church.

Wheelchair accessible entrance/exit, but no restrooms here. FREE. Absolutely beautiful cathedral in Puebla. It's one of my favorites! It is one of the first temples of the Americas. The inside is covered in gold, so it is a beautiful site to see, welcome to all people. No flash photos or flash videos allowed. It is open on rainy days and shine! It has beautiful paintings and art on the walls, too. It is located in the town center and surrounded by many shops and restaurants.

If you are in town, it is a must visit to see the great architecture, but not really worth the drive from Mexico City, not much else to do in the city

A beautiful 16th century church in the historic centre of Puebla is worth visiting. It’s located in a place surrounded by by happening market place but stands tall n beautiful.

There are not enough words to describe how beautiful this Cathedral is. From the outside it does not look too appealing but once you step in, your mind will be blown. On the day we stopped by, there was a three person group playing music and singing to one of the Saints. This added to the experience and made it feel much special. If you get a chance to stop by and take a look, do it. This place is beautiful and you don't have to be religious to admire the art.

Esta es una de las iglesias católicas más hermosas y con acceso para sillas de ruedas en las que he estado. Tienen rampas en todas las entradas y toda la iglesia por dentro es preciosa. Hay enormes pinturas y estatuas hechas de oro. También hay un órgano que es enorme. Definitivamente vale la pena visitar esta iglesia si eres religioso o si simplemente te gusta la estructura de construcción, la historia o el arte. This is one of the most beautiful and wheelchair accessible Catholic churches I have ever been to. They have ramps at all the entrances and the entire church inside is beautiful. There are huge paintings and statues made of gold. There is also an organ that is huge. This church is definitely worth a visit if you are religious or if you just like building structure, history, or art.

Beautiful architecture!! Reminds me of the Notre Dame. Beautiful examples of Catholic scenes and large organs.
