Beautiful and unique cathedral right in the heart of Almería. Its fortress-like design makes it stand out, and the mix of Gothic and Renaissance architecture is really impressive. Peaceful inside, with some lovely details and a quiet courtyard. Definitely worth a visit if you’re exploring the city!

Beautiful cathedral in the heart of Almería . The Cathedral is free during mass and usually on Sundays . Beautiful experience . You can feel the Holy Spirit all around .

This cathedral is really beautiful. The difference between the exterior and interior is striking. Definitely recommend a quick visit if you are in the area. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful cathedral made of huge and imposing stone. It’s €7 to enter the Cathedral each and €10 to also see the monastery. There is a large range of religious art and statues inside the building. High vaulted ceilings and shrines everywhere you look. I find it interesting to be in such an opulent place that is littered with donation boxes - never fails to amuse me. The atmosphere is also quite somber and quiet in my opinion - a certain eerie quality when a huge church is so silent and dark.

Great place to visit especially outside of weekends and holiday season. Beautiful views and wonderful history. Do yourself a favour and visit.

Very beautiful and interesting to visit in a couple of hours

I recently passed by the Cathedral Encarnación de Almería, and even though I didn't have time to go inside, I was truly impressed by its exterior. The cathedral looked stunning, especially with the beautiful decorations around it. The architecture is striking, and the intricate details are captivating. I’m looking forward to visiting again soon to explore the interior and capture some photos. Definitely a must-see landmark in Almería!
