A terrific place to begin your walking tour of Chisinau. Along with this beautiful church is the park it sets in.

Built in 1836, it was the headquarters of the Moldovan Orthodox Church, but was bombed and badly damaged during the World War II. It was rebuilt in 1997 and restored in neo-classical style in Chisinau. The interior is decorated with beautiful frescoes.

Beautiful Cathedral in the centre of Chisinau. Like most Cathedrals/Monasteries, it can be let down by tourists who gormlessly wander in, chattering, take a photo, then leave. It would be nice if there was a quiet area for visitors to pray/reflect in silence.

Beautiful cathedral right in front of the Arch of Triumph and the Parlament's House . For a cathedral is not very big , it gets more than crowded during liturgy and there is a begging business outside the church . For the rest the Church is beautiful , plenty of holy icons and the choir is great!

A wonderful place to relax,watch the kids playing and enjoying the life. Take your time to stay and enjoy an ice cream during the spring,summer or autumn. Calming atmosphere with beautiful people relaxing or passing by. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE IN THIS WONDERFUL LITTLE TOWN!
