It was a beautiful day in Amalfi on October 22nd, 2025. I visited Positano first and then Amalfi, and we stopped at the Cathedral of St. Andrew the Apostle. We were incredibly lucky to arrive just as Mass was beginning, and to be able to step inside and truly experience it.
The sound inside the cathedral completely took me by surprise — the audio, the Gregorian chant — and being suddenly struck awake by its absolutely out of worldly music. I can’t fully explain it, whether it felt spiritual, otherworldly, or simply beyond anything I’ve experienced in a regular day-to-day church setting, but it felt elevated. It was powerful, moving, and genuinely unforgettable. Walked out with a burst of heavenly emotions.
