This beautiful Russian Orthodox Church is a few steps away from Tour Eiffel, and it is really worth visiting - at least once! 😍 To access the church, you need to pass by a security check as you go in but nothing to be frightened about - the agents are very professional and welcoming. There is a small souvenir space in the checkpoint area before accessing the church. On the inside, the church is brightened up by the white walls, golden-framed icons, and its simplicity. On the outside, it is remarquable with its golden domes and majestic architecture. A must visit if you are in Paris 💫🥹

Very modern on the outside, small but with beautiful icons. The gift shop has some very nice articles and lots of Russian books. The silk scarves from this and the cathedral in Nice are beautiful.

Beautiful Russian Orthodox Church in Paris. Very close to the Eiffel Tower and very visible from around and from the Seine River.

For prayerful, quiet respite....this is the place.

Nice atmosphere inside though it lacks painting on the walls and on the ceiling.

At first glance I thought it was a mosque until I noticed the crosses on its top, it's common for orthodox church to have an onion dome. Its golden domes are eye catching even when you pass by the other side of Seine near Pont de L'Alma. Too bad that the church and other parts of the Centre Spirituel et Culturel Orthodoxe Russe were shut down, seemed to be an act of cancelling Russia for its invasion on Ukraine. I mean unless the church is talking politics, putting a line around the area to indicate its closing is just sad.

Travelling across Pont de L'Alma one cannot unsee the Golden Onion Domes that top the Orthodox Russian Church to the right side. Although not in keeping with most of the architecture one associates with Paris, it stands as a reminder that the city hosts congregations, from all denominations of the world, that worship and work here. There are plenty of other places to pray without decrying this one.
