Cathédrale Notre-Dame

Aspect from outside does not make you think there is a cathedral there, which is a surprise. Reading a bit through we understand this one has a long history, notably related to the Chartreux Monks. A smaller church is literally "appended" to it (access through the cathedral).

The church is quite old and fascinating. Sunday prayers we going on when we went there. The church had a very pleasant odur of candles and very peaceful environment. If I lived in grenoble I would be dropping by here very frequently to meditate and pray. It's a must visit architecture. Not much tourist around.

Nice architecture and good location to discover.

Can’t wait for it to reopen, as of now there is a barrier around it due to restoration after the tragic fire some time ago.

So beautiful place it was very peaceful

Not much to see, but it is free entrance at least.
