Cathédrale Saint-Bénigne de Dijon

Offcorse you can't miss it if you are visiting Dijon. When you see the cathedral outside building from some distance, it's amazing. When you are close you lost a bit the magnitude due to the surrounding buildings. Inside is nice.

What a beautiful city. Definitely follow the owl trail. Buy a booklet from the tourist shop at the palace for 4 euro as it gives you all the information you will ever need.

Beautiful Church with high ceilings. Its excellent features are the presence of highly artistic statues, which many museums of the world could envy. The cathedral left a good impression, a bright tall building with huge windows. Separately, it should be said about the church organ, if you say that it is beautiful, it's nothing to say! Nice Gothic church completed in the 14th century and burial place of Philip the Good aka Philip III Duke of Burgundy who reigned during the 15th century. There are some fine details to be seen, like the stained glass windows

Another of the great gothic cathedrals of France, this one having one of the distinctive patterned tile roofs typical of Burgundian major buildings. Not as impressive as the cathedrals of northern France, but certainly worth visiting in this lovely city

Another beautiful site in Dijon. It is on the owl map that you can pick up from the tourism office for a few euros. Impressive interior details.
