Catherine Art Hotel

This is a really nice hotel in a very convenient location. All the must to see landmarks are just around the corner. The staff is very polite and attentive. Economy rooms are small, yet cozy and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. With that type of a room, we were offered to keep our suitcases in a free storage room for guests that is being locked. Overall, we had a good experience with the hotel. Thank you!

Due to someone's error, my room was assigned to another hotel guest. Imagine my anger, when I was sleeping and someone just opens my doors, and it wasn't hotel staff. After coming to make a complaint at reception, one of the receptionist assumed I don't know Russian language and was laughing from my nationality and my reaction, together with guest that entered my room previously, they had really great time laughing. Absolutely unprofessional. Receptionist later offered me some kind of recompensation, but didn't receive any. It happened after 10pm, 27 August 2025.

Very kind people in reception who helped us get around Saint Petersburg. They even brought gifts to my room for my birthday! The location of the hotel id also very good, right on the busy street called Nevsky Prospect. Overall very good! Would come again!

Beautiful hotel with a royal look!Excellent location...in the centre of Nevsky Prospekt..Metro station, bus stop, major attractions , cafes, shops are just around the corner..The rooms are very neat, clean and comfortable . A big thanks to the lady sitting at the "Travel Desk" (forgetting her name) at the Reception for suggesting a Ballad at Michealsky Theatre!Would definitely recommend this hotel for everyone planning a visit to St Peter'sburg! -

The Catherine art hotel is located in the centre of the city, the entrance is not from the main road but from a courtyard. The staff at the reception was friendly and polite. The room we got was much smaller of what it suppose to be, so be aware of that! We upgraded to a larger room witch was fine. The rooms and the bathroom are nice decorated and clean, however the bathrooms are bit small. The bed are comfortable. The rooms are equipped with kettle, coffee, tea and water all complimentary. The breakfast was fine, the breakfast staff was just grouped near the door in a some kind of sleeping mode with no much consideration of the guests.

Wonderful hotel! 4 star indeed , very nice location walking distance to all main attractions, resturantes, museums theatres , bars! Metro 2 mins from hotel , also supermarket near by for nightly snacks Super! very professional and welcoming staff, room was upgraded on arrival at check-in , thank to the kind man, room super very clean, airy beautiful and comfortable, quiet , good night sleep! Hot Break fast was very nice, yummy! Wonderful weekend experience! Love St Petersburg, so much character, History and Elegance 🥳🥳🥳😘
