Catherines Café

Food was pretty unremarkable. Fish is overcooked, clams are dry and full of sand. The wait is eternal, 1h to get the first bite. If you are coming here anyway, get the pomme frites, they are the only good thing we ate. Do not order the fruits de mer. And do not be in a rush. Not coming back here again

We spend the day on Pigeon Beach yesterday and decided to try Catherines for a light lunch. The atmosphere and welcoming even though we just walked in off the beach with no reservation was very well received. Staff were excellent and attentive. I had the lobster and shrimp baguette which was delicious. The wife had a spicy salami, chorizo and jalapeno flat bread, was very nice. But she wished she had mine. Service was on point and we were not rushed at all. A lovely chilled vibe with nice chill out music. To be honest the beach menu was great value. The burgers cooked to your liking came with fries looked amazing but glad we didn’t get one as they were massive. The Restauarant menu looked good too although a bit pricier understandably Going back tomorrow, says it all. Went back and had a wonderful afternoon. The wife had a lobster cesar salad with big chunks of lobster and I had the burger both delicious. Followed by pina coladas and rum punches. Great day and service as always.

Nashea was great! Atmosphere was wonderful with a view on the ocean that is breathtaking!

Excellent restaurant on the beach. Food is really good and the location is right on the beach. There was a big group of us and no one had a bad meal.

V accommodating. We walked in from the beach looking for light lunch. We had lovely beach menu. Corn, salad and fish cakes. They were all delicious and we wolf it down quite quickly. Great ambience. Live band too. Reservation would be better if u don’t want to be rushed for ur meal.

A wonderful lunch experience at Catherines. On arrival we were met by a lovely friendly lady that welcomed us, we we enjoyed a delicious two course lunch with drinks and felt that the service was excellent and the final bill very fair. We went away happy, then returned later in the day for casual drinks and enjoyed similar service from the waiting staff.

This was our last afternoon in Antigua & made extra special by visiting Catherine's. I saw today they have been voted the best beach bar in the Caribbean and can't disagree. Great dining at the back, beach tables at the front and a relaxed happy vibe throughout. L'escargot to start and probably the best seafood linguine I have ever had afterwards. And after that as it was a Saturday, music and dancing. And an Incredibly beautiful stroll back along pigeon point beach

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the island. Great menu and a few steps away from Pigeon Beach. Perfect for lunch time and into the afternoon. Check ahead of time for the days when they have live music.
