Catlins Cafe

We were heading to nugget point and stopped by this cafe. Firstly the ambience was fantastic and so were the people. We met many new people and they were all so friendly and sweet. We ordered a mocha and a herbal drink Ughhhh loved everything sip of it. The sugar was perfect, the chocolate was just so so good. The herbal drink was also fantastic and my husband loved it. They have beautiful paintings all across the cafe and a beautiful chess board. The staff were super friendly and so full of love and life. Loved this stop Will recommend to all.

Stumbled across this spot when trying to find somewhere to warm up after a cold night camping... We sat next to a gorgeous stove, drank some delicious coffee alongside two savoury scones which we're super tasty also! Staff we're super friendly, there were loads of cosy spots to chill at, free wifi, and there were so many alternative milk options! Would recommend to pop in if in the area!

The café and, above all, the staff are wonderful. They took us in during the storm today and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. There was a fire, hot tea, and delicious cake. So much warmth. We are still extremely grateful and thrilled by their kindness.

Yummy food and great coffee. The eggs Benedict seemed small for the price with one English muffin split underneath. Was very nice though, and the filo special was yummy.

Yummy coffee! Great customer service! Good selection of yummy treats. Fireplace was lovely to sit beside while enjoying our coffee.

Stopped off for lunch & were lucky yo have the last 2 roast pork Sunday lunches. Large portions; i couldn't eat all 6 pieces of roast potato! Price included a dessert. Recommend the apple crumble. 😄

The woman who took our order was very kind and friendly. The vanilla latte with ice and the hot chocolate were very very good. The place was cozy with a fireplace. The savory scone and the muffin were tasty too! Recommend it if you’re in the area!

Stopped by on impulse for a coffee and morning snack and were delighted by the quality of the coffee and food, the atmosphere and the wonderful friendliness of the staff. The scotch eggs were particularly good and excellent value. Would highly recommend.

Caitlin's has an amazing cafe in a catering trailer. My crispy chicken sandwich and fries were excellent. My husband enjoyed his pineapple burger. A quirky spot with fun staff . picnic tables to eat your meal . Go for it !

A good place for stopping over for a meal on your way to the attractions within the Catlins. Food is decent, quite a good selection of sweets, mains and sides. Chilli pie was good, and chips we're excellent. The outdoor seating is perfect on a fine afternoon as well. Smoking is not discriminated upon, great job!
