Cattedrale di Udine

Unassuming on the outside, but the interior was very serene and peaceful. It’s not very intricate, but it does have a sense of scope and size. Good to head inside to clear your head amidst the busy streets.

Strange mix of many periods, ugly on the outside, surprisingly vivid on the inside. Lots of art forms and periods, very confusing, but quietly nice. Worth a visit and good to sit and contemplate in quietude.

Wonderful paintings by Tiepolo, I also admired the work of Andrea Urbani. I'd appreciate the opening times to be communicated outside the church. We had to google them as we couldn't find any information while standing at the church entrance.

Old big cathedral located in the city center, near the Piazza della Liberta. Unfortunately, it was closed at the time of visiting (afternoon hours). Cathedral has a n old tall bell tower which is visible from far distance while walking in the city. Especially nice views of the bell tower can be seen from the entrance to the Udine Castle.

Beautiful church, where you find nice painted glass windows , but above all rest and peace in yourself.

It closes at noon so if you are visiting for the day you really need to plan well. There was a local fair in the main historical centre that made the experience in getting around very horrible.

Fascinating.
