I loved my stay here. It was like staying in a hotel with the "hostel" experience of having roommates. For me, it was great to have a less social experience after staying at a party hostel. As a solo traveler, it is important to know that in my time, they did not organize social events, but that was exactly what I needed! If you are needing a break from very social, loud hostels, I could not recommend more. That said, I did meet very nice other travelers . It was perfect for me. The staff was very kind and there are often free pastries out. The kitchen was nice and was a great common space. I told them my shower was having trouble draining and they fixed it almost immediately, so if you have any concerns, ask them and they will promptly address. They also were able to extend my stay. I will say there were only two outlets in my room for three girls and there was a bunk bed which I did not expect from the photo, but still, it was one of my favorite stays in Europe so far. 10/10 recommend. Amazing people and place.

Smallest room ever with no A/C or any ventilation other than a window. Absolutely not for claustrophobic people. The staff wasn’t that nice. The breakfast was very limited. The only good thing I experienced here were the croissants and the location. It was way too expensive for what it was.

Absolutely loved this hostel. The people were so friendly. I booked a private room for 3. It was affordable, clean, and the front desk was very kind. I loved the area of Montmare and the cafe directly outside. Also, if anyone stays here, PLEASE go to Mignon a few steps down - it is absolutely delicious. The hostel is also close to the metro! Great choice of a hostel. 9.5/10 The only downside is there is a large staircase, so lots of steps. However, they can’t put in an elevator due to neighborhood regulations and trying to conserve the area’s architecture. Just be ready to walk up a few flights if you are on floor 3 or 4!

Clean rooms and in a great location. The breakfast is basic—just bread, croissants, and cereals. While amenities are limited, the helpful and friendly staff are ready to provide anything you need

Google
the hostel it’s fine itself, the best part of it it’s the location and it does look nice, the breakfast are and the lobby. the bathrooms in the rooms are tiny, you barely have space to squat, beds are clean and the cleaning staff is nice and very helpful. now, when it comes to the receptionists, at least the older man that works there, just acts like he hates everyone, he won’t even reply to people when they say hi. he is mad all the time and throwing tantrums with himself. i personally got accused of hiding for waiting in the lobby area…of the accommodation i paid for…the ladies that work there are very nice but the men truly act like they hate their jobs and their lives. should probably consider changing the staff. i can say that a lot of people can attest to what i say, this man is rude. i spent the afternoon working at the lobby and i witnessed his treatment towards everyone. my biggest recommendation for this place is to change his staff. when people say the french are rude, this is what they mean.

Staying at this hostel made our Paris trip so much better! The rooms are neat, and while you may need to climb some stairs, it's truly great value for money. The free breakfast in the morning is a big plus—croissants, bread, cereals, and coffee will give you the energy to explore the city. Montmartre is also very close, so you can visit in the evening to enjoy the stunning skyline from the top. Supermarkets, cafés, bakeries, bus stops, and the metro are all nearby. However, if you're taking the metro to Lamarck-Caulaincourt, make sure to take the stairs on the left at the metro station exit and walk to the hostel. Otherwise, Google Maps might lead you on a different path with more stairs—definitely not fun if you're carrying luggage! Overall, the hostel has a kitchen where you can use the microwave and cook if needed. It's a nice, cozy, and lovely place—highly recommended!

It's nice enough but the toilet situation (if you didn't book one of the few that have dedicated toilets) is a joke. I'd much rather share a shower than have to remember my key card to go to the toilet down the hall - or worse, another floor. It would have to be like 1:20 ratio of toilets.

nice budget hostel that was overall clean & in a good area. the staff was friendly and helpful. however, the bathroom was extremely tiny and you have to lean over the sink when sitting on the toilet. other than that the room was a good place to sleep at night. but the biggest issue of the stay was that the wifi did not work the entire 3 night stay. i had to purchase a bunch of additional e-sims to get some work done while in the hostel. not sure why a technician would not be out ASAP to fix the issue ?? anyways, call and make sure the wifi is working before booking your stay :)

Yelp
This is a 3.5, rounded up. This hostel is located in a wonderfully quaint and lovely part of Paris, in the Montmartre area. When I first emerged from the Metro station at the Lamarck-Caulaincourt stop and stepped onto the street, I was blown away by the sight before me. This was the Paris of my imagination, with cute little streets, lamp posts, little cafes and restaurants everywhere, and staircases on every block. I was immediately charmed by my surroundings and felt incredibly lucky to be living, albeit very temporarily, in such a beautiful part of town. In addition to the lovely and picturesque district that it's located in, the hostel is also about a 10 minute walk from the Sacre Coeur and the Place du Tertre. The area is such a nice place to explore and walk around, as it's quiet and has fewer tourists than districts further south. I had a very wonderful time walking around the streets near the hostel and enjoyed the pretty surroundings. And since it was quieter and not crowded, it allowed me to more clearly process things and some good reflection time while wandering. As far as the amenities, the rooms could be a little cleaner. I stayed in a 6-bed female-only room, and there were lots of random old books and even a jug of old expired milk sitting on the window ledge. They should be a little more thorough with the cleaning. There was an ensuite toilet, bidet, and shower, which was convenient and adequately clean although on one of the days, the hostel staff left a mop and a bucket of dirty water in the bathroom, which seemed a little careless. The breakfast is alright too. You get a baguette, croissant, and there's cereal, toast, jams, orange juice, and coffee and milk. It's nice that they have it, but it's not anything special. You're in Paris, and you should be taking advantage of all the culinary treats, so if you really want a tasty croissant, there's a pretty decent boulangerie downstairs where you can get delicious baguettes, sandwiches, and breakfast pastries. The staff was nice enough, the building was kind of worn and old but fine, and it's very secure even though there are no lockers in the room. The price was one of the best values I could find for this time of year (high season, early August), and I paid 29 euros/night. I would've given this place three stars because overall it's a pretty average bare-bones hostel, but what bumps it up is this: + The amazing view from some of the rooms. My room had an incredible view, comparable to the view from the Sacre Coeur. Waking up to that panorama was breath-taking. + The location can't be beat. Montmartre is just lovely. And the Metro station is a 10-minute walk away and takes you everywhere. Even if you don't take the Metro, you can walk yourself anywhere, which I did while I was there - just about walked myself to exhaustion! 10 hours of walking a day! + I wouldn't say the hostel is especially conducive to meeting new people as there isn't really a lively common space aside from a few couches by the computers in the lobby, but I lucked out and got some great roomies. I met three fantastic and funny British girls and another wonderful Canadian girl in my room, with whom I stayed up and chatted with until about 2am one night. Well, maybe I just got lucky, or maybe this place attracts some interesting people - probably a bit of both, but in any case, it made my stay that much better and pushed me to give it that extra 0.5 stars!

Yelp
I have stayed many times while in Paris! I love the location in Montmartre..its quite and full of life at the same time. Close to the Metro station and also close enough to walk to other landmarks. The staff is always amazing, They are super helpful. This will be my go to place in Paris.

Yelp
The word hostel puts an array of discerning travellers off when looking for accomodation. Understandably, the word Dormitory isnt for all, but most do private room with bathroom. This one does. Set in Montmartre, the area is enchanting and full to the brim of culture, art and home to a few movie sets (Amelie and Moulin Rouge to name but a few). a hop skip and a few metro rides away from Gare du Nord Eurostar base for added bonus. So very cheap, basic with eccentrically decadent decoration, but friendly. Breakfasts are basic also but I've heard that thats the regular morning snack even in the 5 star hotels. Watch out for the unusual opening hours - they close their doors at 11 - 4pm and a lock out is at 2am. Paris on a budget can be done

Yelp
Good for low budget in Paris. Do not expect the Ritz. Great neighborhood!!! Close to metro.

Yelp
This hostel is terrible. The room was dirty and there was no cleaning at all. There was NO lockers. The guy who was in the reception at night was very rude. The only good think was the location. AVOID.
