Cave of Agio Galas

The cave is very interesting, although it had been vandalized by visitors until 2010, when it officially became a sightseeing spot. It is definitely worth a visit, as the whole area is surrounded by beautiful plane trees and a fresh-water spring. There is also a small cantina that offers a limited but very tasty variety of dishes, as well as some activities for children.

A long and winding road awaits those who want to go. It is definitely worth the difficulties you endure when you arrive. It is visited together with the church. There is an entrance fee, 4 euros.

There’s a fantastic restaurant and huge kids play area in the shade of the trees alongside a stream. Trampoline, zip line, climbing wall, tight rope, swings..and more. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. The cave is a worthwhile experience for €5 per adult and kids under 10 are free. I’ve included some pictures below.

we drove to an extra place, but at that moment it was completely closed. Not a single person could be seen, the park was at a standstill with board games and a tent. There was no indication when it was open, although according to google it should have been.

Really liked this place for its church, really unique and you must hear the legend of the place to make this experience unique and complete.

It was a wonderful experience. The cave and the church were beautiful to visit but the best thing was the food. Evening is homemade from the lemonade to the dough for the cheese pies. The staff is very friendly. For sure here we ate the best food from the island. The tickets for the cave and church are 5€ for adults and 3€ for children.

If you want to go there you must pass the mountains with car. The scenery was great but it's hard to get there. There was no one in this side of the island. If you like to stay alone, you must go.
