Innovative dishes, local ingredients, interesting flavors. Great ambience, friendly staff. The crocodile and green ants was interesting but I would have liked the green ants to take a more center stage. The desserts are fantastic. At 11 dishes for $110, it is great value. I highly recommend.

We had an amazing evening at Caveau. First of all, the waiting staff were brilliant. Very informative and helpful, and passionate about what they do. Accommodating too - we had our (sleeping!) 5 month old baby with us and we had plenty of space for her pushchair. Food was great. Inventive and beautifully presented, but also some incredible flavours. I would never have thought that green ants could be so tasty! 😃 Would definitely visit again if in Wollongong. Thanks all!

Fantastic food. Chef Tom describes every dish meticulously at your table. Superb wines to accompany every dish. Well deserving of their SMH Good Food Guide Chef's Hat....keep it up guys!

I especially loved the use of native flora and fauna and local produce. The nod the indigenous cuisine is a lovely touch. We loved the barramundi (probably the best we have had) and their version of Apple crumble.

Absolutely stunning food. Five star service. Lovely place to go for celebratory occasions. Definitely will be back!

Not the fine dining establishment it used to be... but with the same price tag. Vegetarian 'main' at Sunday lunch was a slice of Roast pumpkin (skin and seeds included). I love farm to table philosophy but for 75pp for a 3 course meal I expect more than an uninspired set menu with a week's notice. Needs to reassess their approach and adjust service and customer expectations accordingly.

Beautiful space which matches the food and staff. Great set menu. Food was delicious salmon to start duck main and persimmons with camel milk ice cream. Lovely. Highly recommend

Had an absolutely amazing night! Cannot recommend the full tasting menu and the matched wines enough. The flavours were amazing and the wines matched perfectly. Plus I couldn't compliment the service anymore. Perfect for any kind of occasion. Definitely the number restaurant in Wollongong!!

A great dining experience. Each course is served with an interesting explanation and at just the right pace. I would absolutely recommend you give it a go.

The finest dining experience in Wollongong, by a country mile. The flavors are very inspired and creative. The waitress we had knew everything about each dish, and her competency definitely reassured me of the quality of this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
