I’ve stayed in over 40+ hostels across Europe, and this is one of the best. The venue is spectacular. The outdoor areas are draped in bougainvillea, and it feels like you’re in Mamma Mia. It has a massive swimming pool. You get a free breakfast every day, and it’s easily the nicest hostel breakfast I’ve eaten. On top of that, there’s plenty of events going on you can join. The highlight was the sailing tour you can book through the hostel. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. I booked a couple of extra nights, on the website it said my room was booked out, but they were able to rearrange it so I could still stay in my original room. That’s how helpful they are! If I come back to Santorini, I’d happily book this place again!

Caveland is an absolute gem of a hostel! Nestled in a stunning location, it offers a unique and cozy atmosphere that's hard to beat. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home, thanks to the amazing staff. Sara and Ruby truly made my stay unforgettable. Sara's warm smile and helpful nature were evident from the start; she went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Whether it was offering local tips or helping me plan my day, her enthusiasm for the area was contagious. Ruby, on the other hand, added an extra layer of charm to the experience. Her vibrant energy and friendly demeanor made every interaction delightful. She organized fun activities that brought guests together, creating a sense of community that I absolutely loved. The hostel itself is beautifully designed, with comfortable beds, clean facilities, and a lovely common area where you can relax and meet fellow travelers. The atmosphere is laid-back, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. I can't recommend Caveland enough! If you're looking for a place with stunning views, a friendly vibe, and incredible staff like Sara and Ruby, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return!

When I first arrived at Caveland, I was greeted by Sara, Sofia and Alex who were all welcoming and positively happy, and they offered an impeccable service and am lucky to consider them as friends. Everything at Caveland felt like a movie. The cave rooms, the pool, the people who were there, I felt lucky to have found Caveland as it made my trip to Santorini the most memorable. I extended my stay because I liked it so much there. I highly recommend Caveland to anyone travelling around Greece! A must visit!

The hostel has a cool concept of living in a cave ,helpful and welcoming staffs. It has a great pool too surrounded with beautiful flowers. Definitely recommend the greek traditional dinner too.

A great place to use as a base to chill and explore the island at your leisure. Checkin was easy and the addition of the links being sent to your phone made planning really easy Staff were always friendly and more than happy to recommend restaurants and places to visit. We had a car and the carpark was plenty big enough, it's a short walk to a bus stop if you prefer. The location was ideal with a few local restaurants. Room was clean, and the cleaners did a good job maintaining this. WiFi was strong and worked all over the property including the pool. The dogs were the highlight and they have mastered the art of manipulation when it comes to sharing breakfast each morning (see pic). Breakfast was fresh and always served quickly, we appreciated the ability to change our order if we wished. A really great hostel experience and long may this continue.

My husband and I came to stay for 7 days and absolutely loved it. It was clean and very comfortable the breakfast was lovely and it had everything you needed and the staff were so lovely and helpful . In walking distance of shops and restaurants, the pool was a dream. I didn't want to leave. I would recommend it to anyone.❤️

The caves inside do not look anything like they do in the pictures on the website!!! It's so misleading!! The staff are cold and unfriendly and the atmosphere is off when you arrive. The stay is very expensive for the location which is not central at all and down the end of a beaten track. Fira is 30 minutes walk. There are cheaper options elsewhere which are better :) Look elsewhere.

This hostel was absolutely beautiful! Service was great and breakfast was delicious. It was also one of the more social hostels we stayed at while in Greece with lots of group activity options. Everyone was so friendly. This is definitely a pricy hostel, and location wasn’t ideal. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the closest major bus stop.
