Caveland

Would NOT stay if you aren’t planning on renting a vehicle of some kind. It is a lovely hostel but definitely out of the way if you plan on only walking & bussing, so would recommend choosing something more central if that is the case. Other than that, Caveland is a wonderful place!! Beautiful, spacious, clean, and friendly with a delicious free breakfast, fun activities, and a nice team. The cave rooms are unique and quite cozy & quiet, and appreciated their attention to detail. Our towels did smell musty so I think just need more time in the sun to dry fully or more regular switch-outs of the towels as the cave rooms can hold moisture otherwise.

🌟 Three days of pure magic at this hostel! I stayed with my son and we fell in love with the atmosphere: warm, relaxed, and full of smiles. Though it’s not very close to the city center, we rented a motorbike and every ride felt like a little adventure. The place is well maintained, the location peaceful, and the staff… simply wonderful. Kindness everywhere, as if we were part of the family. A corner of the world that makes you feel at home, even when you're far away.

Beautiful hostel - quite centrally located in the island to explore both the southern parts as well as Fira/Oia! The best deal was the staff and the host - very welcoming, helpful and understanding. The pool is certainly a plus on those warm days where you can just chill after a day of being under the sun! Can highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming Sara Christa and Luca went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained, and I loved the social vibe—perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The location was also great, close to public transportation and major attractions. Highly recommended for budget travelers looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay!

Had a great time at Caveland, stayed here for a week solo travelling and the hostel team was wonderful. The place is adorable, sunny and calm, the perfect place to rest. A little away from Fira (the closest city) but very easy to go to by bus !

I had the absolute best time at this hostel on my first solo trip! The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, and the staff were total legends—huge shoutout to Sara and Christa for being absolute gems. Caveland has officially stolen my heart and will 100% be my only choice for future stays. The breakfast hit the spot every morning, and the group Greek dinner was next-level delicious. As a solo traveller, Caveland was the perfect choice for my week long stay in Santorini. The staff are friendly, welcoming and eager to share information. The accommodation was super clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is cool, peaceful and social. I loved meeting other travelers from around the world and I enjoyed the optional group activities. Caveland is my only option now for future visits to the island!

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. It was an incredible few days and everyone on the team made me feel at home, always making sure everything was fine and providing moments of interaction that allowed me to make great friends. You made my trip to Santorini magical! Thank you!!!
