Take this review from a tourist that has spent most of his life in the American continent (North and South America), You will LOVE Caversham 's. Especially if it is your first time mingling with the beautiful Australian Flora and Fauna.
Delight yourself with the different kinds of birds everywhere and the many lovely plants that I had not seen in any other place. Really.
Check out Australia's authentic wallaby's (Cool tiny marsupials that are like kangaroo meets hare and rush through procreation to end up with the wallaby)
The kangaroos are freaking awesome, the Koalas are the sweetest things to see, the possums are cool, the wombats are sooo coool! and all the other animals, including the "farm" animals, that although I've seen them before, it was so cool to be in their areas and walk with them, and play with them and all that fun stuff.
The great thing about this park is that it has big free areas where you can roam with the animals. There's a huge middle field where the kangaroos are free to run around, with all of us visitors IN IT!! That's right!! you get to play and touch and feed kangaroos! its soo cool! you can be stuck there for hours during your first visit! they are all so chill! and there's no strong regulations there. You get to touch Koalas and Wombats and get really close to them and take pictures and what not.
You get to play inside the big area where the sheeps, goats, and other little animals are. You get to play and touch all the animals there! its so fun! :)
Also they have shows in which they show some animals like the big wombat, and some owls that were awesome.
In all honesty, the park was nice. You can finish it all in like 3-4 hours. Their webpage is really helpful. You pay only at the entrance. It was like 23 for adults (15+) and 16 or so for students with a concessions card (Has to be from WA).
The staff was nice, always offering to take pictures for you, telling you how to pet some animals. The little ecosystems built for each type of animals were good. The spaces were also good, and it seemed like the animals were cool. Some of them seem a bit underfed, but none of them looked mistreated as one the reviews mentioned, although I do not know anything about the park, as I'm just visiting.
To me, my experience was great and wish they had some sort of season pass to go there once a week haha. jk. but seriously.
Go have some fun, especially if you are a tourist, and an animal lover.
