Very beautiful and above all large stalactite cave. It was very interesting to walk through it. Stalagmites and stalagmites in all shapes and sizes. The cave is well lit. At the end of the path you can see the underground landing stage for the boats. The combined tour, which starts with the boat trip and then turns into the land tour, is certainly much more interesting and recommended. Unfortunately, we were unable to do this on this day as the boats were not available. Unfortunately, the information was not available on the website and online booking was also not possible. Therefore one star deduction. There are free parking spaces both at the top at the ticket store and a few below directly at the cave. Another little tip, on the opposite side is a nice little beach, 7 minutes away by car, highly recommended. Not to be confused with the small beach right next to the stalactite cave.

Craziest cave I’ve ever seen after visiting caves across Asia and South America - the cave was huge with numerous limestone formations in their weirdest forms, surrounded by crystal clear waters; the boat ride ticket was totally worth the price as it lasted for a good 10 mins along with a short walk out of the cave to a beautiful coast full of flowers. Boat rides are organised as soon as there are 6 ppl so best to arrive in the afternoon to avoid waiting time for people to fill up the boat.

**A Must-Visit!** If you ever have the chance, you absolutely must visit the magnificent Diros Cave! It promises an unforgettable experience, especially if you're able to book a ticket for the enchanting boat tour. Gliding through the cave's crystal-clear waters, surrounded by stunning stalactites and stalagmites, feels like stepping into another world. The site is well-organized, offering plenty of parking spaces where you can conveniently leave your vehicle during the guided tour. The ticket price is €17 which is more than reasonable considering the magic that awaits you. The duration of the tour is approximately 40 minutes—just the right amount of time to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and wonder of this natural treasure.

We had an opportunity to do the short trip : 300m by boat and then 300m on foot. It's an impressive cave, very refreshing coolness after a hot day outside. Unfortunately, no information was provided about the cave, it's history or formation in any form or in any language.

The Caves of Diros, located on the Mani Peninsula in southern Greece, are a breathtaking natural wonder and one of the most impressive cave systems in Europe. Stretching over 15 kilometers, these caves are filled with stunning stalactites and stalagmites, formed over thousands of years. Visitors can explore part of the cave system by boat, gliding through crystal-clear, underground waters that reflect the intricate rock formations like a mirror. The experience feels almost otherworldly, as you drift silently through narrow passages and vast chambers, all beautifully lit to highlight the natural beauty. Steeped in myth and mystery, the Diros Caves were believed by the ancient Greeks to be an entrance to the underworld, adding a mystical dimension to their geological grandeur.

The Caves of Diros in Greece are nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you embark on the boat tour through the crystal-clear waters, you're transported into another world. The geological formations are mesmerizing, with stalactites and stalagmites forming intricate patterns that look almost otherworldly. The guide was knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into both the history and the geology of the caves, making the experience both educational and awe-inspiring. The ambiance inside the cave is serene, with only the gentle sound of water and the occasional drip from the formations breaking the silence. The boat ride itself is smooth and well-managed, ensuring safety while allowing you to fully immerse in the beauty around you. Photography enthusiasts, bring your cameras! The lighting within the cave creates an ethereal glow that makes for some stunning shots. However, nothing beats the experience of seeing it with your own eyes - the colors, the reflections, and the scale of the place are truly breathtaking. The tour is well-organized, with clear instructions and respect for the environment evident throughout. It's clear they're committed to preserving this natural wonder for future generations. If you're in the Mani Peninsula, do not miss the opportunity to visit the Caves of Diros. It's an adventure that combines natural beauty, history, and a touch of mystery that will leave you in wonder long after you've returned to the surface. Highly recommended for all ages!

The view inside the cave is really impressive. It was a short visit, around 30 minutes, but it's totally worth it if you are in the area.

We came from Kalamata, along the western side of the peninsula heading towards Aeropolis. The cave of Diros is located at the top of the Mani between the town of Pirgos Dirou and Areopolis and the entrance is a few meters above the sea and a beautiful stone beach. We navigated through the cave for about 1200 meters, which took around 20 to 25 minutes. The colors inside the cave were surprising. After visiting the cave, we drove further to the southernmost continental point of Greece, Cape Tainaron.
