Caviar Cafe and Restaurant

We had such a great time at Caviar Restaurant in Maafushi! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was really nice and relaxed. I ordered the BBQ chicken with vegetables, and it was perfectly cooked :juicy, flavorful, and served with fresh veggies that complemented the dish really well. My boyfriend had the sizzling chilli chicken, and it came out hot and sizzling with an amazing aroma. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. The service was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you're in Maafushi, this place is definitely worth visiting. Great food, great vibes, and a memorable dinner. We would happily come back again!

Dropping a short review just to say that quality of fish fingers was surprisingly good! We usually expect cream dory when ordering fish fingers but here? The fish fillet meat is obviously from higher quality fish. We loved that! Spaghetti bolognese was good but too sweet for my liking which is of course subjective. Serving is generous, and service is excellent. Highly recommend to try when you’re in maafushi.

We had grilled octopus and cordon bleu with rice with mashed potatoes for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious! The place and ambiance are also wonderful - true beach bar vibes. The service was excellent and waiters are very nice and kind. Also table game are available. Definitely worth going if you are in Maafushi!

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this restaurant in Maafushi. The atmosphere strikes a beautiful balance between contemporary elegance and relaxed island charm. Anurag is very friendly! The food was truly outstanding. Traditional Maldivian cuisine is reimagined here with a modern twist, and the result is both creative and authentic. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of fresh, vibrant flavors. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into each plate. If you’re visiting Maafushi and looking for a place that combines cleanliness, modern style, warm hospitality, and delicious Maldivian-inspired cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

Updated: I came back for some food. I ordered the herb crusted tuna. I so wanted to keep it five stars but what I got was something that you'd typically find in a high school cafeteria. The vegetables were just boiled and the mashed potatoes, eh. The tuna was overcooked and salty. Disappointing. For seafood, there are much better places here. But Anugad, the server was awesome as before. ---- Just had a quick iced Americano. It was nice and strong and they had no problem including a side of milk (some places charge for this). Nice talk-level music and on the beach. And the gelato looks amazing!

Very nice service, Anurag always checking our needs. We came back on repeat because of the vibe, direct view on sea and very good food. Recommending their sandwiches if you want just something lighter in middle of the day, and the ice tea is super nice ! 10/10 Ps ask Anurag for his speciality with butterfly pea 🦋 Update: it gets better with every visit, very nice music, and the drinks ? More we explore, more we love it. Sweet tooth ? Go for brownie with ice cream 🖤

The food was perfect a big variety with seafood and meat also!!! The place very nice decorated and nice music! The big problem is the service only two persons serving the whole restaurant we were waiting 1 hour for two plates both times we went so ww didn't go agin because of this...the food is one of the best in Maafushi, the lobster best plate really!

Had a wonderful dinner time here, price is very affordable. Food was delicious and service was good. Will recommend that aglio olio smoked tuna anytime. Atmosphere was excellent.
