Cavo Bar+Kitchen

Our last night in a nearby AirBnB, chose Cavo at random. Wife and I wanted to order several things so we'd have leftovers for the following busy day ahead. We ordered the gyro with sirloin, thai wings, the Fugetta About It pizza, and a blackened chicken caesar salad. We must've said to each other 100 times while we ate, 'Goddamnthisisgood!!!!' Lots of amazing entrees but don't sleep on the pizza and wings even if that's kind of pub food in a higher-end restaurant. But I guarantee everything is amazing. Although I got takeout, I was early to pick up, spent time inside and talking with staff. What a cool atmosphere and a wonderful staff. I can't recommend it enough. (We expected to have half of our order left over the next day. But we couldn't help but finish damned near all of it following a midnight snack).

We had a lovely time, it’s not Cavo’s fault that we’re in the middle of a heat wave, so it was a little warm inside. So we cooled down with some cold beers, and we very much enjoyed dinner. Thank you for a wonderful evening Cavo crew Granville Street.

I personally recommend their garlic prawns & their passion fruit margarita. Do not get their chicken strips, horrible. Their servers r great. Dog friendly.

We drifted into this place while looking for somewhere to eat and we were delighted we did. After some deliberation we both decided to have the lamb shoulder. This meant a wait for it to arrive, but when it did it was worth the wait. There were a range of cocktails available, so we splashed out and had one each before we left. Service was very good. Our waitress was polite and attentive, without being intrusive. Altogether a very positive experience, and much better than it looked from outside.

My girlfriend and I decided to go, drawn in by a sign advertising "New York Steak and Prawn for $15." However, we were misled by this price, as we were ultimately charged the full price of $44. Initially, I thought this might be a minimum consumption requirement or a promotion to attract customers for drinks and other purchases, but that was not the case. When I raised the issue, the manager stated that I should have asked not only the hostess, who confirmed the promotion, but also the server. The customer service was very poor. That said, the steak was divine!

Chantel and I adore Cavo+Kitchen and Bar for its seamless blend of modern flair and traditional warmth, especially during our happy hour visits. The lamb meatballs and French-style mussels are our favorites, embodying the essence of Mediterranean finesse that Cavo champions. We particularly appreciate how their philosophy of sharing and communal dining resonates with our experiences in the cozy back corner booth, where we often get lost in conversation. This place isn't just about great food; it's about the joy of sharing those culinary delights in a welcoming, hospitable environment.

I like the ambiance, food was good, we have some truffle fries, carbonara pasta, wings, and west coast salad. For drinks, i started with old fashioned, my friend ordered passion fruit margarita, then we have happy hour red wine. The only thing that kinda disappointing is wings, only 6 wings in an order, but it was good and flavourful. Service was just so so, but all in all our experience in this restaurant was good. Will come back again. May 11, 2023 It’s still a nice place for happy hour, i like the red wine, its better than Open. The price iis stll the same…still reasonable. Tonight i have garlic prawns and it was so delicious, very flavourful with some feta cheese, perfect! I think this is a place to go to for happy hour!!! Sept.2,2024 Calamari is crispy and flavourful. Service is good! September 23, 2024 Monday night. Busy around 8 pm. Sat in the bar. Still have a good dinner. Start with a manhattan. Chicken souvlaki special for dinner and with a cab sav. Still have a good service even for a busy night!

Wow! The wife and I went to eat here and had an amazing dinner experience with a great server. The waitress was amazing,; full of knowledge about the food at the restaurant and all the local activities worth doing. The food was amazing! My wife got the bistro chicken which was cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. I had the AA NY stake it has a gravy on it so make sure to get it on the side if you don’t like stuff on your stake. We had the Thai chillin flavored wings (must have no matter what) that was so great. They aren’t spicy but they have a great flavor.
