Cavo Maris Beach Hotel

We recently stayed at Cavo Maris Beach Hotel and overall had a really great experience. Pros: • The food is truly delicious – we enjoyed every meal. • The cleanliness of the hotel is absolutely top-notch – 10/10. • Room service was prompt, friendly, and perfect – again, 10/10. • There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool area, which is a big plus during busy hours. • We had a medical issue with our daughter and the reception staff were extremely supportive. They helped us contact a clinic and even guided us on how to use our insurance. • The hotel offers courtesy rooms, which was convenient for early check-ins or late check-outs. Cons: • The kids’ animation team needs improvement. The evening kids’ programs are very short, not engaging, and the animators didn’t interact much with the children. In a few instances, their attitude towards the kids was also not very welcoming. • While breakfast tastes great, it gets boring over a few days – the selection is the same every morning without much variety

We stayed at Cavo Maris at the beginning of the month, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially for families. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, with a lovely beach area and friendly staff. However, there are a few points that could definitely be improved. The breakfast is exactly the same every single day – not even a small change. After a few days, it becomes quite repetitive, especially for guests staying longer. In the evening, there’s not much to do. Since it’s the only hotel in the area, there are no places to visit nearby, and the only evening entertainment is a gentleman singing live music. While the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, it can get quite boring if you’re traveling with kids or looking for more lively evenings. One of the biggest downsides for us was the lack of basic facilities for small children. We asked at reception for a potty or at least a toilet seat adapter for our 3-year-old daughter, but we were told they don’t have anything like that. It was disappointing, especially for a hotel that promotes itself as family-friendly. For our child, it was a real issue, as she refused to use the adult toilet. In short: a nice hotel with great potential, but with room for improvement, especially in terms of service variety and consideration for families with young children.

We came to the Cavo Maris to celebrate our anniversary. It proved a great place to do that. Really appreciated the surprise gifts from the hotel. Cavo Maris has a great pool/jacuzzi, lovely gardens and a nice little beach (sunloungers on beach chargeable). Reception staff lovely, Chistos our waiter was very friendly, George offered a fun evening and Yulias sultry singing was great to relax to. Entertainment very chilled. Some poolside music would add more atmosphere. Aqua aerobics and dance a real hit. The variety and quality of food is great, plenty of choice. Its great to know that this is a hotel that really cares for customers needs and customer satisfaction is key. They went the extra mile to ensure our stay was a good one which we're very grateful for. Thanks to Saavas and all the staff for making it a stay to remenber. This is a lovely modern, nice hotel in a good location with bus routes to Protaras and Ayia Napa. I would recommend.||Read less|Tip:

We stayed for 17 nights in June and it was our second time in this hotel. |There is a lot that we love. |+ new pool area|+ rooms got a touch up |+ friendly staff ( in particular I want to point out Comfort and Jason (service) who both were very friendly and always had a little bit of time to chat and high five our children who loved that) |+ Spa (I had four sessions with Chris - deep tissue massage and it was fantastic - highly recommend) |+ really nice cypriotic coffe place as part of the hotel (good coffee - nice veiws with a friendly nice older guy working there) |+ three nice close by public beaches (three minutes to reach per foot)|+ indoor and outdoor entertainment for the kids|+ in general a very clean hotel - you always see someone cleaning |+ shady playground for children||If I want to point something out that could be improved on then it is the food (buffet). |While it was easy to choose everyday between having lunch or dinner (we had half board) the experience wasn't the best. |Yes, the buffet makes your life easier when traveling with kids and also the presentation was quite nice. It also didn't feel cheap but the quality wasn't the best. There was a lot choose from, every day had a motto (Cyprus night, Mexican night, etc.) that repeats after every week but I would rather have a reduced variety of food but with increased quality. |Breakfast is nice though. Selection of salads as well. |The food is not bad, just fine for a family trip but it is not the reason why we would come back. |I guess the hotel wants you to book a table in the four other restaurants where the quality is higher but you'll need to pay separately. ||We enjoyed our stay and we'll come back.

Wow, it was awesome! The rooms are super clean and updated, and so is the whole place. They have like, four or five restaurants, it's practically a little village. Plus, there's a gorgeous beach right there. Breakfast is massive and delicious, with tons of options. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Is it super baby and kids friendly. The only thing they could improve is adding a hairdryer; we couldn't find one. Seriously, it's a perfect 5/5 experience! 🌟

We have just returned from the Cavo Maris Hotel last week. Would highly recommend. Fabulous location at a beautiful beach. From the minute we checked in everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sheets. The food and drinks were really good, served by very efficient and friendly Staff. Evening Entertainbment was good especially George who sang and played the guitar. He was the Best of the week. One of our most Relaxing Holidays, we definately hope to return next year for a Special Anniversary. Keep up the good Work,

Very clean hotel.gardens are very well kept. The location is excellent. It is also very child friendly which is great for families. There is an excellent Cypriot cafe with great sea views. The Italian restaurant has some great food. We have been many times for long weekends and plan to return soon.

Freshly renovated with its outdoor facilities improved significantly since our last visit. The hotel is 3min drive from Protaras and right on the Sirena bay. So you can combine the beautiful beach with gold sand with the great swimming pool and other activities. Food was very nice and staff very friendly. |I would only advise the hotel management to drop a bit the prices on drinks. E.g Double cyprus coffee for 4.5 is too much.
