These Stunning Caribbean Caves Were Just Named One of the World’s Top Attractions by Tripadvisor

"The Cayman Crystal Caves, located on the Northside of Grand Cayman Island, are a major attraction formed millions of years ago and officially opened in 2016. The caves, which were once underwater, feature stunning crystal-like stalagmites and stalactites. Visitors can explore three caves and the surrounding tropical forest through 1.5-hour guided tours. The site has earned significant acclaim, including being named one of the top attractions in the world by Tripadvisor." - Travel + Leisure Editors

"Though a relatively new option for tourists, the Crystal Caves of Grand Cayman’s Old Man Bay have been hosting other sorts of visitors since time immemorial: Everyone from bats (who still hang out near the entrance) to farmers (in search of the attendant guano) to pirates (where better to dodge both hurricanes and the law?). Shrouded within a healthy radius of rain forest, these stalactite-and-stalagmite-studded caverns are well worth your visit, too; whether or not you locate the treasure that some of the previous occupants are rumored to have left behind, you’ll find a wealth of natural beauty—especially the reflection of all those formations in the gin-clear rainwater lake."

Great tour. Chris and Cole were awesome. Archie gave a great explanation before going. It’s an easy walk with lots of cool stuff to see. They are great with kids and very patient. Cool stories from Chris. They have a snack and drink shop, free water and feet free bug spray for people to use.

We have visited twice to the wonderful Crystal Caves. We first visited on my wife's Birthday for a drink at the Tree House. The security guard was a wonderful man who took us up to the Tree House instantly and it was such a lovely journey. We arrived to the most beautiful rainforest environment where we were greeted by Ali, she instantly made us feel welcome and was the most smiley and kind person to chat to and made my wife's Birthday a very special day. Following this initial trip we visited a week later for the Crystal Cave tour.... truly magical formations and the bat caves were glorious.... yes it was very warm, but SO worth it. Our guide was well humoured and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend the location, staff, food, drink and experience..... 5 stars!! Thank you. R and L :)

Top notch place to visit. The guide Yeves was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Very very humid. Bring cold beverage with you. We did the first tour of the morning on Saturday of Easter weekend and it was wonderful. Weather wasn’t too hot but the caves were super humid. Lots to see and explore. Great for families with kids.

This place was awesome! We had a wonderful guide (Chris Jr) that was very informative, educational, and fun. We went into several caves and it was great for the whole family of all ages. Be prepared to wear insect repellant and be warm. The caves are not cold, but jt was still worth it!

Justin was an excellent tour guide. Everything was so smooth and wonderful for the kids and large families. It was nice to learn history of the Cayman Islands, North side and the crystal caves. Justin engaged well with the kids and took some great family photos for us.

Amazing experience for kids. It's great for adults if you haven't seen caves with stalagtities and stalagmites. Our tour guy Ashani was amazing. He made our ride up to the caves fun for kids. As you walk through the the forest, he had a lot of information about local plants. You will visit 3 caves. Each one is a little different. They do save the best for last. The last cave has a beautiful mini lake and a bunch of bats hanging around. Kids can't wait to come back.

A beautiful place to visit with the family. The excursion and guides are very organized. The caves and paths are safe and easy to access. And the caves: just majestic, outstanding, unforgettable. We have been to many types of caves (Colorado gold mines, Canadian shield natural caves, Alps river caves), these rank amongst the best caves to visit: the stalactites and stalagmites formation are the best. The tour last about 90 minutes. As a bonus, the last portion of the tour includes a cave full of bats, very awesome.

Go early to beat the heat and the crowds. The staff is wonderful and the caves are spectacular. There are larger caves but these are the most diverse. Some steps and uneven paths so not recommended for people with mobility issues.
