Cayucos Surf Company

Shop is located on N Ocean Drive. On street parking and handicap access is available. Interior is well displayed with surf related items. There is a second floor of merchandise. The customer rep at the checkout counter was very nice. He helped to find anklets which unfortunately they didn't have any. They accept credit cards.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My granddaughter and I were treated with such disrespect for asking a simple question! One employee in specific was standing around on the phone with seemingly a friend while my granddaughter was trying to ask for help reaching something higher up on a shelf. The way we were talked to was appalling and we will never visit here again! Save your money and shop elsewhere.

No greeting, no eye contact — just cold silence from the staff. You could feel how much they hated being there. The clothes weren’t much better: bland styles, cheap fabrics, nothing worth browsing. I left feeling unwelcome and unimpressed.

Terrible place. Workers there are miserable 24/7, I don’t recommend going there, their clothing and shoes feel like they’re from SHEIN. Don’t go.

George was very helpful in helping us pick out a board to use. and he helped us by letting us use a ball pump! he was awesome and super helpful.

George was super chill and let us use his pump to fill up our spikeballs 😎 also had good priced skimboards

Don't buy anything from CAYUCOS SURF !!! Go across the street to GOOD CLEAN FUN... and get 100 times better customer service.. never going into that store again or recommend it either been in town for 30yrs and was once a good store but times have changed and so have I. Went to return /exchange for store credit and was told no.. Lame

We came in to make a purchase and a darling younger employee began assisting us. Before we knew it, an older lady who was clearly the owner showed up. She had a very bad look on her face from the moment she walked and I feel very bad for her employees. She was extremely rude and condescending to us through out the rest of our attempted purchase, not to mention being rude to the darling girl who was only trying to help. I would never return to this store after being treated that way. You can tell when someone is having an off day understandably vs. someone who is bitter in life in general and takes it out on other people. What would she be on a high horse for? Look around. There are far better surf shops out there with very nice people who own them who deserve the business.

Great shop! Our favorite place in Cayucos for beach sweatshirts, hats, & jewelry. Good vibes and super positive atmosphere. You can't miss this place!

I love this place. Patti my wife loves it for finding things we can't find in Clovis for the grandkids. For me I love it for the staff who are super friendly and the great stuff I can't find in Clovis. There t-shirts are great. They are getting to know us now since we're down their often. That might be bad. Lol

Small and cozy. Nice clothes okay prices and right next to the beach. I bought a lamb skin sweatshirt here for sixty bucks. I'm happy with it.

This is one of the friendliest shops I have ever been in. The store has a lot to offer from clothing to surf and beach wear. I would also like to give a big shout out to Alyssa who helped me with my purchase. This is what Cayucos is all about.

Find whatever you are looking for, great selection! I've never gone in to just browse without coming out with something I totally love! Sweet staff is a plus

Good place for skater and surfer apparel. The employees are young at the place and can be a bit distracted at times. I bought my son a hat there and looked over the place. They have some fine quality items and are a good bet for a small town place. It did not have a large selection of surf boards and equipment, so I would not call is a sport type shop as much as a tourist place to buy clothes that are an exponential leap up from those curio type places.

I rented a surfboard for my teen. It was in poor condition but was the only place in town that had one available. After about an hour, the leash became untied from the board. The ends were so frayed that it was impossible to thread it back through and tie it back on to the surfboard so I did not get the benefit of the full half day rental. To add insult to injury, they required me to pay $28.96 for a new leash even though it wasn't broken. I go to Cayucos several times a year and rent equipment. Never again at this place.

They had a nice selection of clothing. I bought some sunglasses, good quality though a bit pricey, nothing under $30. The gas station across the street has cheaper sunglasses but I'm happy with the ones I bought.

Great little shop! If you love surf style or have a surfer in your life you need to shop for, this is a pretty swell place. If i recall correctly they had a pretty sweet collection of uggs too. Best branded cayucos clothing in town (hint you will not totally stick out from locals if you sport a csc hoodie) rental gear is reasonable and they will work with you. cant beat their location either! if you're in cay-mucus check it out friends

Great staff. Very helpful in renting wet suits from them. They were very patient with us and our chaos of kids, questions and our land lubber ways. Best money we spent on vacation in Cayucos so we could all enjoy the water. Great job, friendly and patient staff.
