Whether you’re craving a crisp glass of rosé or a bubbly cocktail, there's a little bit of everything here—except an extensive beer list. $588 for free flow brunch, what a great value if u drink more than 4 drinks that would worth it! U can choose champagne/white/red/beer/cocktails/non alcoholic. u can choose one main from the menu. all the other appetisers will be served. Food is yum, view is excellent. They also have live singer when we visit. A must go for brunch in Hong Kong!

This was a choice I did not regret. At first I was trying to find a place for an important reunion with a good friend of mine. I knew I wanted a view but I also wanted a big plate of good food. A view accompanied with amazing food, quite hard to do depending on your taste. After quite a few searches I came to the CÉ LA VI Hong Kong. They had a stunning view at a good price point. Upon arrival to the California tower, I was unsure how to get up there since most of the lifts only headed up to the 24th floor but it was suggested to be on the 25 by the map. Until i was guided to the right lift. Upon arrival I was greeted by the staff at a small desk placed between the stairs that led down to the restaurant and the bar. They handed me a tag so that I can pick up my umbrellas after my meal. The decor of the restaurant is quite elegant, the lights are dimmed to create this feel of coziness. The staff were very professional and the food was amazing. They had a Sake specifically made for their restaurant that was quite good. Their beef espcially blew me away. I had a well made 1KG rib-eye that was sliced nicely before served and a beautifully cooked filet mignon that completely blew my mind. The bok choy that was served with it had a nice roasted scent to it too. Based on my experience I would definitely come back and try all their other dishes next time. They also has a roof top lounge but it was closed due to the gloomy uncertain weather. But if you are ever looking for some good food accompanied by the city lights of Hong Kong, I would highly reccomend bring a date or a friend over!

Google
An exceptional vue with a great service and fantastic food. The ideal evening is to start with a drink on the rooftop, while admiring the lights of Hong Kong and to pursue with dinner, in the restaurant. Food is really exceptional, the wine list very rich and everything is served with a smile. The room is not very noisy and this is yet another good point.

Google
Nice rooftop bar. Happy hour 3pm to 9pm. Views are great though most of the seats are so low that you can’t see across the bar let alone across the city. Better to stand. Try and get the elevator with the glass side up.

Google
Views - 2 thumbs up, on 25Floor, nice music Drinks & Food - reasonably priced given its location and views (though tons of places offer better drinks for half the price). Happy hour drinks quality are bland and very weak; nothing to rave about. Food average, ripped off Recommendation - come here only for views.

The view was spectacular! Food was of above average quality with nice presentation. Staff are attentive. Overall happy with my experience.

While the food and view was quite great, my friends and I were unfortunately discriminated against. Upon arrival my friends and I approached the resturant, we were greeted with friendly faces and offered to be seated in the dining area for an early dinner. But as we began to walk towards the stairs to have our dinner, the senior manager at the counter approached us saying we were not properly dressed. At first we were understanding and made the decision to change our clothes, so we left briefly and bought proper attire. When we returned they hesitantly sat us down, sitting us in a area in the bar with the supposed intention of us eventually being seated for dinner. But as we waited we finally came to the realization that we were not even being considered for a seat. After repeatedly asking about our table they eventually made the effort to find us a place. What made all of this even more intolerable was the fact that there were a multitude of people dressed as we were when we were told our attire was inappropriate for the venue, all of which happened to be of the caucasian race. Aside from this there were a few who were very cordial and helpful in our visit (primarily one waitress at the bar area and the serving staff at the dining area). Ignoring the considerations of our actual service, the resturant was great. We tried a variety of the drinks (wines and signature concoctions) and a multitude of meal items. They were all skillfully made and tasted great, but sadly were tainted by poor interactions with some of the staff. For someone looking for a good meal at a price with a great view, I would recommend this place, but be wary of some of the staff as they seem to have quite the bias, and have lead me to rank the resturant relatively poorly.

Came for dessert after dinner at Fumi, the Japanese restaurant a few floors below. Great views and the desserts were excellent. Will try a full dinner next time.

Yelp
For a Roof-top View of the entire Hong Kong Island and Tsim Sha Tsui, this place can make it happen. It is located on the 25th Floor of the "California Tower" building on popular 25/F D'Aguilar Street. My phone only picks up a 3g network in Hong Kong while I am off Wi-Fi, making Ce La Vi a VERY tricky place to find. Once arriving off the elevators, you are greeted with multiple hostesses who give you the option for their Asian Fusion Restaurant or Rooftop Bar. I was there purely for their rooftop view, drinks, and atmosphere. View and Patio itself was world-class. Could not beat. The service and the staff? It may be because they were bored or it was 6pm but they were awful. No smiles. No greeting. No help whatsoever. I figure that this is a 9pm-2am venue but come on.. Wake up guys! I will ONLY return to this venue if it is 9pm or later..

Yelp
Wow, what a view! I wasn't keen on visiting LKF, and the way the promoters from all the restaurants/bars on the street try to get your business is overly aggressive to say the least. But Ce La Vi is a lot classier, and it's a nice place to hang out when you're sober and a little more chill. I had a Jasmine Blossom that was okay but weak. I do like the bar and the view, but I don't like the street it's on. Then again, it may be worth fighting the LKF crowds to get to Ce La Vi.

Yelp
It is an OK rooftop. Not much action around. The drink price is overrated and expensive. The view is great tho, this is the only thing worth in this place. Everything else is ok...

Yelp
Let me begin by saying that first, we were only there for drinks. Second, we were there early, like 6pm on a Saturday. This place is a restaurant, rooftop cocktail lounge and a nightclub. In summary though, this place has a Las Vegas club feel (regardless if you are there for dinner, drinks or the club itself) and designed for a young, trendy customer in their 20-30's with money to burn. It is located in California Tower, up on the 25th floor. When you get off the elevator, that floor is the lounge/DJ/nightclub/main bar, you scoot up one dimly lit, wooden spirally staircase (beware if you are in stilletos!) to go to the outdoor rooftop bar or you scoot down another equally dimly lit, wooden spirally staircase (again, hopefully not in stilletos!) to the restaurant. The hostesses will direct you to what you are looking for and they were super sweet, cute, dressed to the nine (all that you would expect from a hostess at a hot club anywhere on the planet). This place has all the feel of a Las Vegas style, big city, trendy, nightclub. At 6PM though and void of many people, we enjoyed the roof top bar (probably because it was 6PM and void of people). The martini was simply OK (too much vermouth & not a great martini), but both our drinks were served in good solid barware and came with a tiny bowl of chips to snack on. Staff was OK and friendly, but they have the feel of waiting for the 20-30 year old big spenders who spill in after dark and late night. And the "rooftop" in "rooftop bar" was nice because of the breeze on the top of the building, open aired vibe and has a nice view of the urban landscape built into the hills of Hong Kong. They have plants built into the design of this place though and they are rimmed around the outside of the bar, so the view(s) are by no means unobstructed, nor is it the "best view of the city." It was nice to be outside. There is a full functioning hot tub right in the middle of the layout, which paints a picture of the adult shinanigans with hired models or overserved clientele during an evening with nice weather. This place is more loungy, with deep couches and big pillows to nestle into. Drinks set us back about $250HKD for one poorly made martini and one rum and coke, so this place is pricey. I am sure dinner is equally as pricey. I work out at Pure Fitness in California Tower and was always curious to see this place. I am glad we went and it is not that I would ever go again, but I myself would try something else in the arsenal of options in California Tower. But again, if you ar 25 with money to burn and this is your scene, this might absolutley be your place.

Yelp
One of roof top bars that have popped up in HK. This one is in the middle of LFK. Great to take out of town folks esp on a cool night. Kinda pricey so be prepared.

Yelp
Awesome rooftop patio in what's the heart of Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong. When we were looking for a place to grab a drink in the afternoon, we had a few options on the ground level, but I spotted a sign next to an elevator that called for higher ground. How right we were to stumble upon this place. It has everything you need from a rooftop bar: from the cocktails to stunning view of the HK skyline, you can sit here and soak in the views, while seeing what the beautiful people next to you are up to. Drinks are typical HK upscale pricing (100 HKD and up), but it is what it is if you're looking to drink at a place like this. To smooth things over, they did have a Happy Hour special where you can get two drinks for the price of one if you order one of their cocktails from the first page. I got a passion fruit flavoured cocktail, and also an old fashioned made with chili, and both were pleasantly creative while not being too fancy.

Yelp
Nice rooftop bar with amazing views of the city Generally, cocktails are good - have an Asian fusion spin to them. Wine / champagne a bit overpriced / not as good Also serve Japanese food that makes good accompaniment to the drinks e.g. tempura, maki rolls, grilled salmon (small pieces / skewer style)

Yelp
California Tower opened 6 months ago and houses the coolest, trendiest restaurants, bars and clubs in town. Ce La Vi is a restaurant, bar and club occupying the highest 3 floors of California Tower and it sets the standard for today's ultra modern dining and drinking venues. I visited the restaurant and it had sleek black marble furnishings, which was matched by dim lighting and chill house beats pumping at a low volume all night long. The highlight was the black marble lamp above half the restaurant, with plants all around it. Food is Japanese fusion tapas style, ranging from around $250 to $400 per dish. For a table of 2, perhaps 6 dishes will leave you satisfied but not overly full. Food was okay, but you come here for the decor. I had a Japanese sake cocktail which was amazing! Just the right balance of sweet and bitter and it tasted fresh. Cocktails are around the $120 to $150 range. As for decor and ambience, Ce La Vi blew my mind and I am yet to find a restaurant in Hong Kong that has the same vibe.

Yelp
Positive: good location and cool looking bar. Very nice view over LKF. Cocktails are generally ok, but there's better options in the neighborhood. Negative: bad service, rude employees (at the elevator), bad quality of wines and served in plastic glasses which is sad for the price you pay. Ce La Vi didn't give me life. C'est pas la vie !

Yelp
Chic rooftop lounge with a chill vibe. Good views of the skyline while you sip on some cocktails. Happy hour on drinks for the ones on the first two pages of the menu. Two drinks for the price of one until 7pm. Random hot tub in the middle of the rooftop but pretty good dj playing music to jam to. Service was attentive and courteous. FYI: 10% gratuity added to bill.
google avatar

Michele L.

Yelp
Relaxed vibe until about 8pm when it starts transitioning to lounge. I agree with other Yelpers that the view is nice, but as a bar first & foremost, the drinks & service leave a lot to be desired. Cocktails (~$130) & shorts were about 80% ice -- the few sips you get tasted like watered down juice / soda. If you ask for less ice, as I've tried a few times, it will still come out looking like a snow cone. Certain drinks are BOGO during happy hour, if that gives you any comfort. This is a place where I'd just stick to wine & beer.

Yelp
It was so hard to find a place opened around Christmas, we were very happy to come across Ce La Vie. This bar is located on the 25th floor and has a grand entrance overlooking the city. Climbing the stairs brought us to a stunning rooftop overlooking the city. Right away we were given a table and were assisted to place or drink order. This bar has a lot of Champagne bottles and cocktails selection based on it. We went from some Sauvignon Blanc and Gin & Tonic. All of which were always replenished in a timely manner. There was also a live DJ playing some nice lounge music to create a great ambiance.

Yelp
What I love about HK is everything that you're looking for is usually in one area or within very close proximity. Party & bar scene included, that is the infamous area of Lan Kwai Fong in Central. As HK is known as the city of skyscrapers, rooftop bars are plentiful and views of the surrounding mountains and skyscrapers are awe-inspiring. Ce La Vi is one of those rooftop bar that boasts a chic atmosphere. Located on the 24-25th floor, you can either chill at the rooftop on the 25th or dance / grind on your fellow patrons on the 24th. It was a fairly nice Friday night and the rooftop bar was not packed, there are comfortable seats at a patio table if you have enough swagger to buy one of them overpriced bottles. Compared to buying bottles in a nightclub in the States., the prices here are actually not that bad, believe it or not. We made our way to the club and the first thing I notice is there are a lot of couples hanging out here. What happened to date nights at the movies or bowling or heck even at a bar? Or even your house/apartment if you've reached that far. What is the fun in hanging out in a club with just the two of you? Anyway, I digress. The dance floor was pretty empty throughout the night with everybody hanging out the sides or the bar, not very happening it seemed. Probably was it due to the meh music, not superb for getting your moves on, but not horrible enough that warranted leaving. The bathroom situation is interesting if it's your first time here. There are two peeps handing out towels who will insistently guide you (if you're a male) to the right side, where you enter to a wall to urinate on, no walls, no stalls. If your peripheral vision is as good as mines, you will want to avoid this wall. Simply bear left, ignore the towel peeps, and the bathroom stalls right there. I'd come back here to chill at the rooftop bar for a few drinks. Maybe it was an off night at the club, but CLV is still worth checking out.

Yelp
Great rooftop view and ambiance. I went there during the happy hour, it's definitely amazing and worthy:)
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Only came up to CLV for the view of HK which is nice at night. This is located in the heart of LKF so during a busy weekend, I think the queue can get long. You have to take the lift up to the top floor, and then a few more steps to the top. The bathroom is kinda cool with greeters to make sure you know where you're going and peeing into the right hole. Hey, people can get confused sometimes when drinks go hand-in-hand eh mate?! The actual roof top is pretty small with a DJ for good mood and a small bar. I would say check out the CLV in Singapore or Taipei for the WOW factor, or the new location that's opening in 2020 in Shanghai!

Yelp
This place is a very lovely place to be... The atmosphere is so refreshing and their services is great. I enjoyed every bite of my time there... Looking for a nice place to chill? This is the best place to be.

Yelp
We didn't know anything about this place before randomly walking by the ground entrance. We wanted to take a look at the view, so up we went. The place consists of two floors: A restaurant on the "first" floor with a rooftop bar up the staircase. The rooftop view was a bit obstructed by plants, so it's not really worth a visit if you're only there for the view and not in the mood for a drink or two as well. We ended up sitting down and ordering drinks, so we still enjoyed the visit. The view is still a nice touch, but not the main selling point of the place. The staff was nice and friendly, and the drinks were good, though in the upper price range. Probably to be expected from this area of Hong Kong. We didn't get to visit the restaurant, but I quite enjoyed the bathroom! It was kinda dark, and after a few drinks the pattern on the walls made it a bit of a challenge to find the doors.
google avatar

Jonathan D.

Yelp
Generally overpriced and unimpressive - especially when compared with other food in Hong Kong. Note: the rooftop bar is not open to individuals under 18
google avatar

Jorge R.

Yelp
Top 3 of the best places to lunch I have been in my life. The view, the food, the service level is impeccable. Keep it that way. Jorge
google avatar

Huck C.

Yelp
Found this place via internet for a rooftop bar near peak tram station because Friday afternoon waiting line was stupid!!! This place has 2 for 1 happy hour deals before 9pm so you get a decent value in LKF because everyone knows that it's mighty pricey in the HK prime clubbing district. The rooftop bar has big pimping views of HK! Cool place to take a date / hookup. Cheers!
google avatar

Cheng S.

Yelp
The Japanese food was really no better than what you could get for 1/6 of the price from the super market fridges - plain, tasteless, and no memorable feature. The restaurant has a little bit of roof bar view but the merit pretty much stops there - the decoration seems run-down, and there is no sense of classiness. Face is lost for inviting a girl there having read the positive reviews - really embarrassed for not taking her to a more decent place despite paying a hefty bill.
google avatar

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Great rooftop bar, good vibes. Thankfully we came early enough that we were able to get a table with seats on the couch. Drinks are expensive and it probably gets really crowded easily.
google avatar

Emily F.

Yelp
I so badly wanted to like this extremely beautiful rooftop bar however, the service was terrible. One of the 4-5 different servers disappeared with my credit card and failed to bring a drink we had ordered [I'm still not 100% sure which person was actually supposed to be our server]. Anyway, after waiting for approximately 10-15 minutes, I finally went to the bar to retrieve my credit card and was ignored for another 10 minutes. Then, when I finally had to approach someone for assistance [like literally had to corner the person so I could get them to help me] I had to remind them that we had never received the one drink we had ordered. That being said, the matcha cocktail was very good but the staff can do SO much better. Just an FYI, there are a plethora of bars on the same street with much kinder wait staff. Three stars for the atmosphere and view of Hong Kong.

Sergio L.

Yelp
The views are spectacular. You can see most of central and back high rises from mid levels. The cocktail are decent but are priced moderately high compared to the rest of the city. Definitely worth coming too even for the view.

Yelp
One of the newer bars/clubs in LKF, Ce La Vi is definitely a place to check out. 2 girlfriends and I came during ladies night and were handed out free bottles of champagne--small bottles but definitely a good amount to get us going for the rest of the night. We started off in the club area--dim lights, amazing view out the window, loud music. After a while we moved upstairs to the rooftop bar area, and this is my favorite part of Ce La Vi. Come earlier if you want to snag a table to sit comfortably, cause if not, you'll be standing around the fireplace and there aren't really too many seats. Because Ce La Vi is on the 25/26th floor, the rooftop view absolutely gorgeous, overlooking a stunning view of the sky rises. From what I experienced, the crowd here, or in most places in HK, are pretty kept-to-themselves. Because Ce La Vi is also a nicer bar, the people here are put-together and seems to be quite well off.
google avatar

Julie K.

Yelp
This place is the spot, particularly on the weekends. I came on 2 separate nights and they were very different. Wednesday was very sparse and chill w/ a GHD event whereby they styled ladies' hair. We saw Ne-yo here that night. Friday is jam packed crazy as is the entire street.

Suzy B.

Yelp
This place is absolutely gorgeous! I wanted to celebrate my wedding party in HK. I was looking for some good place, where I could organize a private event and finally I found it on this website https://hk.limoscanner.com/venues/251-c.la-vi/! The service is really nice, waitresses and hostess are know how to treat their customers. We booked indoor area with a beautiful view of Hong Kong skyline. It was really impressive. All our quests were really impressed and satisfied. The cuisine is delicious! Honestly,I'm not into Asian food but this one was really nice. Also, they provided us with a large range of beverages. This place is on the point! CÉ LA VI totally made my party better! Everything was really smooth from very beginning to very end. I'm more than satisfied with my choice. Can't wait to visit this restaurant again.

Yelp
Gorgeous views, starters are asian cuisine, sushi and the like, all delicious. Do not skip the steak as a main. To die for.
