“We had a wonderful dining experience at Cecconi’s Istanbul. The pizza was absolutely outstanding — perfectly crisp on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside, with just the right balance of flavors. The fresh salad was another highlight, made with vibrant, high-quality ingredients that tasted refreshing and full of flavor. The atmosphere is both elegant and cozy, set in a beautiful historic building that gives the whole experience a unique charm. It feels like dining in a place full of history, yet modern and stylish at the same time. The restaurant’s ambiance was truly exceptional, and I especially loved the music, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Service was attentive and professional, making us feel very welcome throughout the evening. I have been to this place before and it impressed me. But this time, I was disappointed. The pizza was below average and the food was served cold. The tiramisu was excellent.

Nice place, nice food, but… it was not extraordinary. Maybe I expected too much. The prices are high. Due to place and quality that’s understandable… but I expected a bit more. In a normal restaurant I’d give 5 stars for the food, but here it’s just 4.5. In detail: I had salmon… the outside was crisp and perfect 👌, the inside was a bit too dry (just a bit). The salad I had was ok, but not mindblowing. (to be honest I had better red beet in the past). The pizza I tried was good, but I tasted it too late, so the cheese already got cold and hard. That’s on me. I’m sure it was perfect when it was hot, cause the crust and the dough were on point. The turkish tea was perfect :) I love the atmosphere, and the service was also very good. As I said, prices on the higher side, but reasonable, given the place and exclusivity. (They didn’t even allow us to take photos on the outside… and that males no sense at all. Might be one more reason for me, not to give full points.

Authentic Italian restaurant at the heart of Istanbul. The food is one of the best in Türkiye, though slightly overpriced. The menu includes freshly made pastas and exceptional pizzas. I would personally recommend the Cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper). They have a wonderful garden that allows for more private interactions and conversations. The only downside was the music, it was too loud. Also, the staff should be instructed to clear the table only after checking with the clients.

As for the food, it’s tasty and well-presented, but nothing particularly extraordinary. Everything is of good quality, but there’s no real “wow” factor. Prices are noticeably on the higher side, and it feels like you’re mostly paying for the ambiance and the level of service rather than exceptional cuisine. Overall, Cecconi’s is a great choice for those who value atmosphere and top-notch service. If you go, go for that.

I had a great dinner and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was inviting and cozy, The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing—and the staff made great recommendations. The food was the real star: each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I particularly loved the [calamari and cacao pasta], which was cooked to perfection. The ingredients felt fresh, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. Overall, I will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely dinner at Cecconi’s! The place is really nice and calm, ideal for a date night. The food was good, service as well. Would recommend!

We chose this restaurant for dinner and ordered lamb chops and Veal Milanese with wine. We requested the lamb chops to be medium, but they were slightly undercooked inside. They immediately replaced the dish with a well-cooked one, which I really appreciated. Aside from that, the atmosphere was great, and the food tasted delicious. I’ll definitely come back to try the Italian specialties—pasta and pizza. It’s a good idea to make a reservation in advance.

Came here to satisfy my margarita pizza cravings and it did just that - beautifully made marg pizza made in the clay oven which you can see from the dining area. We sat in the garden seating area and its such an aesthetically pleasing restaurant, we would have def tried other dishes but we came for the marg and left satisfied

Cecconi's Istanbul doesn't have a specific gluten-free menu but the head chef came to my table and personally suggested a celiac-safe and absolutely delicious meal. He walked through all of the processes in the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. He gave me numerous options including gf pasta as well as meat and fish dishes. I ended up with sea bream and asparagus. My friends without dietary restrictions were also really pleased with their meal. The restaurant itself is gorgeous.

Surprisingly delicious food - maybe the freshest salad I've had in years - amazingly perfectly seasoned. True Italian focus on stellar ingredients - really delicious ravioli and chocolate cake. Beautiful wooden canopy outside and soft lighting - perfect for a friendly meal or romantic night out. Unfortunately, service, while professional and knowledgeable, was incredibly slow and absent 3/4s of my meal. A must try if you're able to double the anticipated time of a meal. **If the food wasn't so impressive, I'd remove another star. The subpar service has been that distracting from the experience :/ such a shame.

I relied on this place for good food for my picky toddler and myself when I was in turkey because we didn't care for the local foods as much. The club sandwich and Mac and cheese are delicious. They have excellent service.

4 stars - it may go up after my next trip. The food was clearly fabulous. Add to that a fantastic venue and you have a winning formula. Cecconi is situated nearby Soho Club. It is good mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. The distinction between these is almost seamless. You don't know where you are unless you pay attention. The menu is quintessentially Italian. No mistaking here. We went for few appetizers, a pizza as an appetizer and main course as pasta. All were fantastic. We had tuna tartar with avocados. The balance of taste was divine. Highly recommended. Second in line was meatballs in tomato sauce. I must admit that I liked the tomato sauce more than I did meatballs itself. But all in all a good dish. Truffle pizza. Wow. The dough was thin and crisp - full of flavor. Ingredients on top: did I mention it was a truffle pizza. Bolognese pasta. Perfect size. On the smallish end as far as other Italian restaurants - but more than compensated with its bold bolognese sauce. I suspect it's been done in the old recipe style. Great great Pricing is probably commensurate with the quality. I have not paid, so I don't know exactly. But I suspect it's $$$ I will revisit the place. And if it is still same, for sure it deserves 5 star...

I love Cecconi's. It has a really nice garden that takes you away from the chaos of the city and surrounds you with trees. The staff is very kind and nice. The food is pretty good, I really enjoy its pizzas. It also has good alternatives if you don't want to eat a pizza.
