Some shops for used books and new books, one shop had first editions, signed copies and some books with sprayed edges that looked really cool. One shop had a lot of pagan content (the term used broadly). There was also some art available. However, I expected the street to be a lot bigger and the sortiment to be fuller. I know you can get book trinkets from various book universes from other stores, but I was fully expecting to be able to get ornaments, collectibles and lots more from some of the bigger universes out there. Replica swords or daggers, maybe some book ends with dragons or mountains, desk ornaments from LotR, ACOTAR, Fourth Wing, Game of Thrones, Wheel of Time, Brandon Sanderson's universes etc. It's on me that I didn't read up too much beforehand, but the area being known as "The Book Street" made the entire thing rather underwhelming.
There were tourists outside who were guided there by tour guides, but other than them, I think there was only me and one more person who stopped by the stores that Saturday. Which is sad, because I assume there is a lot of history in the area.
I purchased a few books, among them one with sprayed edges, and I look forward to displaying it in my living room bookshelf. If you are looking for something special, you may be able to find it here, but I would phone ahead if you would have to walk out of your normal route to get there.
