Cecil Hotel

1. The hotel really needs properly maintained, door knob fell off.|2. The room is very very small. |3. Breakfast is very minimum. |4. Pillows are very small.|5. Noises from the street. ||1. The hotel is closed to M3 and bus stops and the Monastiraki Square.|2. The staffers were friendly and helpful.

One of the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve slept on in 28 years as an adult. A mattress upgrade would go a LONG way towards making this a VERY quality stay. Otherwise, a decent hotel for the price, in a fantastic location.

Me and my wife stayed in hotel Cecil for 4 nights and I must say the location was perfect.Just at the bottom of the road was the main square and the acropolis. Clean and very friendly staff. And the lift was worth it alone

You get what you pay for, the shower is tiny and the hose couldn’t be hung so I had to hold it, the breakfast isn’t worth it. You do however get a clean bed and a working A/C, and you’re close to everything, also the water pressure in the shower is great.

Excellent location. Very near Monastriaki Square, the hub of Athens. Syntagma Square is just 500 meters away. Just 20 minutes walk to Acropolis. The staff is very affable and helpful. Lovely buffet breakfast. They have a free luggage storage Room..Super market , Shops and restaurants are on same street. Everything was very convenient and we had a wonderful stay on budget.

Value hotel in great central location. Basic but spotlessly clean and a recommended location based for onward travel.

The location is great as near Monastrika Square and Metro. The Hotel is a little dated but comfortable. Perfect for a short stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. The inclusive breakfast is perfect to start your day. The rooms have everything you need unless you want tea/coffee making facilities and there is no fridge to keep drinks cold.

I've stayed here on a few occasions; the outside of the Hotel and the reception is rather deceiving. A simple, old reception desk and a reception area with not much space. However, the rooms are clean and comfortable for one or two people, the toilet/shower are clean with complementary shower gel. The Hotel is in an excellent and very central location and you can't beat the price!
