Cecil's New Orleans Bistro

Just arrived in Garberville today, staying a couple nights, and the number one rated restaurant was Cecil’s New Orleans Bistro. We have a baby with us so I decided to do a take out and eat in hotel room. I called to ask for the special tonight, and I find out that their online menu is outdated. So I decided to go in (2min walk) and look at menu. After talking to bartender about the top meals on menu I ordered the ribeye for myself and the craw fish pasta for my wife. The ribeye was delicious, so were the vegetables and mash potatoes. My wife’s pas was delicious aswell. We will probably eat there again tomorrow night and try something different on the menu. She said their special, short ribs, was delicious ... I posted pics of their actual menu ... enjoy!

I have some allergies and intolerances, but this place accommodated me well. I had a dish with fish and veggies. It was excellent! Probably the best preparation of fish I've had at a restaurant, actually!

A step up. Not the most expensive, not that cheap either. Expect to spend $10 on most drinks and at least 20-30 for a full dinner. The food livea up to the price or better. There was music at the bar both times I went. One can eat at the bar or at the half dozen tables. There is also a dining room I have never seen. Great, friendly and professional service.

I have been to Cecil's before. And I can say that it is my favorite restaurant in town. Nice setup, nice staff and a great chef.

This was a gem. Recommended by the Gyro guy in town. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing

GREAT food, better service, had music the night I went. Pricey, but the food lives up to it. The house white was excellent.

Food was delicious, service was great, however the hostess was less than friendly.
