I had intended to leave a 5-star review, but there are both positives and negatives to consider regarding this site. **Pros:** - The campsite is small and situated by the ocean, allowing you to hear the soothing sounds of the waves at night. - There is a great playground for kids to enjoy. - A beautiful beach can be found on the right side, near the lighthouse, which is supervised by lifeguards. It offers the best sunsets and sunrises on the island. - You get a great view of the West Cape lighthouse. - Lighthouse Willy's Restaurant is just a few minutes away and serves good food. - Although the beach on the left side is rocky, it is still a beautiful place for a stroll. -The park's front desk and supervisor provide exceptional customer service. When we couldn't fit into our reserved campsite #6, they kindly offered us campsite #1, which worked out well. They were accommodating and understanding, especially the supervisor who manages four parks. She was outstanding. - The campsite can get breezy, which we enjoyed as it helped cool things down on warm days. -Bathrooms/showers are extremely clean. Park staff visit every hour. -Sites are grassy and clean. **Negatives:** - The campsites are small, and there are a considerable number of seasonal campers. - Despite reserving campsite #6, we were surprised to discover that it was not as spacious as expected. The presence of a large camper on the neighboring site made it difficult for us to set up our own camper. It may be beneficial for the park to review the size allocation of corner sites and adjacent smaller sites. During our three-day stay, we observed multiple campers expressing concerns about the proximity of neighbors and the feasibility of accommodating two campers side by side. However, this issue was quickly resolved by supervisor. Campsite #1 cannot be reserved and would not fit a large camper. - The laundry room requires upgrades. One washer does not spin properly, and there are no clear signs indicating this issue, resulting in clothes coming out drenched. Additionally, one of the dryers takes an excessive amount of time to dry clothes and does so poorly. Campsite personnel gave me my money back. 2$ to wash/dry (loonies only available at park desk). - The washroom facilities are located at the extremities of the park. While well-lit, as a woman, I felt uncomfortable walking alone to either facility due to the distance being too far. I accompanied my child as well. I would not let children go alone and would want my significant other to accompany me. Overall, the pros outweight the cons. I would recommend :). We loved our stay!

So cool, adrenalin shout. You can climb up to the top. Staff is very nice and you can find a clean restroom in the building. Beach is beautiful, you can find a lot of crabs. Wear your watershoes on the beach. Visit the lighthause with fee.

We had a really nice time here, only spent a night but we were able to spend a good amount of time on the beach and exploring the lighthouse! The light house is really beautiful and unique- black and white striped and the beach was long and beautiful! The down side is there is no privacy between sites and the bugs were really bad! Overall we definitely recommend if you want easy access to a beautiful beach.

Nice little campground. Very laid back atmosphere and right on the water. The beach was beautiful and not super crowded. Water was very warm and a delight to swim in. Washroom facilities were inspected/or cleaned every hour so they were always pleasant. Park is dog friendly so long as they're on leash. We're many furry animals out for walks around the park. There were even a couple cats tied out at one trailer. Only downside of the park is the beating it took from Fiona. The pictures of U7 to U11 show lots of trees which are no longer there (2023). Also pay attention to the size of each site, some are significantly bigger than others. Without the trees there is no place to set up a tarp and little shelter from the winds as thunderstorms roll in. Other than that the park was great. Lighthouse a short walk in one direction and ice cream available a short walk in the other direction.

Beautiful beach and another well-kept lighthouse. This one you can rent a room in!!!! Two guest rooms are in the actual tower!! The rings are so quaint with an ensuite bathroom with a fitted tub and separate shower!! We were able to peak in while one of the rooms was being cleaned!! So cute!! We then climbed to the top of the lighthouse with amazing views of the beach!!

Beautiful beach with red sands.. Less crowdy. Cellular reception was pretty bad. Therefore, it is possible to enjoy the beach without interruptions. It's shallow. Good for kids, too.

Beautiful ocean side campground. Great for campers/RV’s. If you are old style like us and still love tenting, there are no wooded sites. No shelter from the elements. So you are at the complete mercy of Mother Nature. But if the weather is nice, this place is awesome. A wharf and restaurant is a short beach walk on one side, and there is a beautiful lighthouse a short beach walk on the other. Definitely worth checking out!

Spectacular location! They took an awful beating from the hurricane. Hook ups are very strange. Every second site has to pull in forward to connect to the services. Didn’t want to do that as our big window would have faced away from the ocean so our sewer and water lines ran right in front of our steps. Otherwise it was great
