Cedar Motel

Great stay for the price paid - especially during peak season! Check in is at the Prestige Hotel since management has changed. They kindly gave us a voucher for the Radium Hot Springs as the Prestige Hotel pool was not in service. Our room was clean, with amazing AC (which was much needed during the heat wave), and a comfortable king sized bed. The only negatives regarding the room were the lack of lighting options (no overhead light, 1/2 lamps did not work) and that you can very clearly hear your upstairs neighbours. Regardless, it was a great stay!

We only stayed for one quick night so this review is based on our quick experience. The rooms were cute and clean enough (dusty baseboards, old bathroom). I was happily surprised when I walked in not knowing what to expect. My only suggestion is to bring ear plugs or a noise machine. Those walls are paper thin you can hear a pen drop from the floor above. The person above us sounded like they were doing a deep clean at 12 am. Water running, furniture moving.. not ideal. Overall, not bad for one night stay.

Pretty good value for the price. We stayed here for one night on a little getaway. The location is great, everything in radium is in walking distance. Room was clean, AC worked very well. Cable TV. Bathroom looked to be fairly new. Be sure to check in at the prestige hotel on the other side of the main road. This is specified in the welcome email, however if you skim it like me, it’s easy to miss.

Positive: From the outside the hotel did not look nice. The room was nice, well maintained and reminded me of a cabin feeling. Negative: Air conditioner was only in the bedroom, needed to keep the door open to keep the main area and second bed area cool.

Lovely place. Clean rooms, quiet. Nice location. I like the colorful lights at night time. Its great you can use the pool at the mother hotel, Prestige. Excellent service there too. Really enjoyed the Conrad restaurant. Overall wonderful stay at the beautiful Radium Hot Springs.

Room had an odd smell but was clean. They must have left the door open while cleaning as there were many mosquitos in the room. The ac was on and set to a perfect 17 which was amazing, but it plugged into the bathroom not the wall , so we discovered a new level of intimacy in our relationship by not being able to close the door while using the bathroom. You can definately hear the people in the upstairs room as well. Maybe they could have stated they were renovating or something but for $174 a night should be better.

Disappointed with our stay. The room was not properly cleaned, with visible dirty barefoot prints on the floor. It had an old and musty smell. While sitting on the couch, a bug ran across my leg, and I found another in the bathroom. It's hard to see where the positive reviews come from because our experience was far from satisfactory. We paid $183 to stay awake all night due to the bugs and poor air-conditioning.

We took a room with 2 big beds. The room was smaller than expected.

This motel is not what we had hoped for. There is a musty smell. The floors were dirty. You could see barefoot prints and smeared food on the floor. Unfortunately I couldn't recommend anyone staying here.

Great little place, spotless rooms, friendly staff, great price. Is stay here any time

Very clean room. Very friendly owners. Owners offered us a ride to the Hot Springs twice, even said they would pick us up after we were done. Great tile work in the bathroom, nicely finished room, bed was comfortable, no kitchen room had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.

Great place. Would expect to pay north of $100 for this room so paying $80 fealt like a steal and who doesn't like feeling like they got a deal? Was very pleased with the room. Very clean. Comfy bed. Great front desk staff. Will be makimg this little gem our mainstay when visiting Radium.

We had such a wonderful time here. We found this place last minute, since we didn't know how far we'd get. We checked the reviews and they were good, so we gave it a try. From the minute we arrived the owners were very helpful, even telling us where we could see big horned sheep. The room was clean and comfortable. We slept great!

Very cozy place. Nice staff. She even lent me a umbrella. Motel is a motel although.. Not a fancy resort if you are looking for one.
