Cedars Campground - For the LGBTQ Community

The staff here are wonderful people who go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. I had a trailer issue and they had people help me and sent me in the right direction to get a part fixed. The seasonals here are so amazing, they have kind hearts and welcome everyone. Great facilities here including pool, restaurant, general store which is well stocked, picnic area, laundry, bar, dance club and the list goes on.

Cedar’s Campground is a fabulous place for LGBT campers and their friends to come, celebrate and feel safe! Everyone is welcome and after 5 visits I can truly say that each summer brings new adventures, wonderful friendships and a sense of community you just don’t get anywhere else! Thank you to all the hardworking staff who take such good care of everyone. Would highly highly recommend a visit! ❤️

Cedars Campground Resort is truly an absolutely amazing place to be with a wonderful end to end experience. All of the staff and seasonal residents are guest are amazing. It’s very comfortable and a very inclusive experience. Highly recommend it!

I have had the distinct pleasure 🙏 of joining the Cedars community 6 seasons ago. This is so much more than a typical trailer park . It's a small but mighty community lead by an amazing park owner and thoughtful caring diligent hard working staff. Together these people allow others like myself to enjoy a friendly diverse and supported community. There are plenty of activities services and amenities for all to enjoy . My sincere thanks to all at Cedars that make it this amazing place ✨️ your efforts are always appreciated and do not let the nay sayers tell you or make you feel otherwise.

Mind blowing that I only found out about this quaint establishment in 2022, my only regret is that I wasn’t brought here by a fellow gay sooner ..regardless it was perfect. Lots of seasonal trailers decked OUT to the nines. Landscaping looking better than half the straight houses I’ve been to. The dedication everyone had to showing pride was unmatched by any other gay atmosphere I’ve ever been submerged in. Tent camping was lovely despite the sites being close to each other, it was such a nice vibe. Clean amenities & the best music playing in the distance of every separate campground. Everyone felt like a friend. The pool was lively and crowded but welcoming regardless. Comfortable, homey even. Cabana for a day was $40 and well worth it. The pub next to the pool had great food and drinks but you could also bring your own as long as you had a sealed cup. Truly the most magical experience, like if a rainbow was an emotion this place was a beaming one. Would recommend/return in a heartbeat!

Cedars is not just a campground. It's a community. The on-site amenities and events are always well-planned and well-attended and keep me coming back for more. Heated Pool, Restaurant and Night Club are all booming. There's even a clothing-optional area! 100% worth a stay!

Cedars is always full of fun and incredible people. The list of events every weekend is very creative and interactive; from weekly dances, karaoke, theatre plays, and theme weekends and parades, there's always something to do. The staff is helpful and friendly, the camp sites are clean and the pool is well kept. The prices of the sites are some of the most reasonably priced in the area. Families welcomed!

My friends and I have been coming to Cedars Campground every summer since 2021, and we just wrapped up our second unforgettable Labour Day weekend there. Everyone says it’s the weekend to go—and they’re absolutely right. Labour Day 2025 was no exception: from the incredible themed parties to the breathtaking illumination event, it was pure magic. The thought, care, and love poured into that experience left us in awe. It’s not just beautiful—it’s deeply reflective and meaningful. 🏕️ The campground itself continues to impress. The newly upgraded showers are fantastic—modern, spotless, and always well-maintained. Huge shoutout to Pool Daddy for keeping the pool area pristine and making sure everyone respects the space. He’s always a joy to see and brings great energy to the vibe. 🎶 The DJs this weekend were phenomenal, especially Sunday night’s set—it was electric and had everyone dancing into the night. But what truly makes Cedars special is the community. There’s a unique magic here where strangers become friends and every visit feels like coming home. My absolute favorite part is reconnecting with Missy, Kelly, and Jolene—three radiant souls who greet us with warmth, fun, and incredible energy. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure we’re having the best time. I’m especially grateful for their help in locating some misplaced items—they not only found them but returned them with a hilarious note that turned the whole situation into a laugh-out-loud moment. Thank you for your kindness and care! This tradition is one I’ll cherish and continue for years to come. Cedars, you’ve earned every bit of this 5-star review.
